Undisputed boxing is a thing of beauty i love it and it will only get better and better
You seem to be in the minority.
The saving grace is that they have a very solid simulation boxing foundation. This game has huge potential! There's definitely some questionable design decisions & a lot needs to be fixed. Especially the Stamina issue for both Online & Offline.
I hope they add announcing the scorecards at the end of fights
Add the clock showing the rounds for simulation mode
Let us save our User preferences (Difficulty level & sliders) so that we don't have to manually change it before every fight
Add Ring Girls
Add clinching back
Make the jab more effective
Get rid of Ghost punches
Don't have the fighters magically appear in the center of the ring after every knockdown
Show fighters walking back to their corners at the end of rounds
Expand on the damage & cut system. We need more of a variety
Give us a cut man mini game in between rounds
Adding fighters robes for ring entrances would be nice
The roster is nice, but underwhelming at the same time. A lot of legends are missing (Tyson, Holyfield, Foreman, Liston, Hagler, Hearns, Duran, De La Hoya, Cotto, Pacquio, Whittaker, Trinidad, Hopkins, James Toney, Winky Wright, etc.) There's a video out of all the fighters that are signed in the game that are still coming in roster updates.
There is no problem with the stamina🤦🏾♂️If you play 12 minute rounds and play with the clock speed at x1 you will see why I’m saying there is no problem with the stamina.
@gameave The Stamina is definitely not balanced. The CPU's stamina does not drain at the same rate of Human Fighters. No matter how many rounds or what sliders you use. I can literally not get hit, not throw any punches & barely move around, yet my stamina will drain. The CPU can throw punches all round while getting hit, yet still have more stamina than me at the end of rounds.. That's a problem.

You pretty much said everything I want added lol. One small thing I can add is when you win a belt in career they should show you getting it in the ring as well as your team holding them on the walk out.
I’d like for you to be able to actually get someone trapped in the corner, I’ve noticed you can’t fully push or be pushed back. You stop like 2 feet before your back would be touching the corner
The game is very fundamentally sound as far as the sport of boxing goes. The base is there. I agree that this was rushed to gold. After a few patches this will be the perfect boxing sim.

I’m enjoying the game. it has a lot of potential. just sucks that people are exploiting the power shots and leaving matches. but that stuff can be fixed so let’s see. The devs being unresponsive and not addressing it is foul though
It’s their first game so I’m sure they are overwhelmed. I do see the potential! The game is really fun at times.
@@regulardave2975 the footwork for me is innovative enough to keep me interested so o definitely want to see what improvements can be made. if I could use my footwork and let the player gas out I’d have no problem but they don’t gas out 😂

But as bad as I want a patch, I can honestly say patches can do destructive things to games if rushed. Problems could come that we never had. It’s best they patch soon but not until the patch is patched lol I damn sure thought it’d be a day one patch since they knew the problems October 8

I can tell from the gameplay video that maybe the devs were passionate but didn’t really know, (No offense) or have the talent, to execute it properly. I do commend them for their first time attempt though. It could have been, much worse?
I absolutely agree with you about there 8 round limit for online. These devs need the confidence to say “ It is what it is. This is boxing! If you don’t like it go play something else. “ But maybe they knew this game’s quality wasn’t ready for that confidence.
Here’s a tip for these devs, if they make another one.
1. Punches need to be pretty lighting fast in the first rounds, with the speed dropping off throughout the rounds, just like in real life.
2. It’s a must that character response time feels tight. If I move my character in or out the animations need to come out immediately.
3. Clenching and refs are a must for a boxing game.
4. No matter how cool it looks to you never block our view with camera people or anything else. Use transparency if you have to.
5. Ring chicks are also a must! This is boxing!
6. Just replicate a real boxing fight.

EA announced today that they developing a new Fight Night
I didn’t like it at first but I’ve been playing online and now I like it.If you get someone who wants to try box which I have been most times it’s a good game, it does need to improve though, main thing stamina tax the spammers.
Regardless of how the game plays right now this game is still going to do numbers this holiday season just watch because it’s the only current gen boxing game out right now unless ea comes out of the blue with a fight night champion remaster with a bigger roster but the cannot pull that off right now might be a couple of years but by that time undisputed should be top tier by then

Bringing to the attention to everyone saying to patch the stamina that if we play with 3 minute rounds on the real time (x1) clock speed setting and not the default x1.5 accelerated speed) you will have your stamina around 20% by the 8th round. The problem with the online is that the clock is accelerated and the matches are only 8 rounds. There is actually nothing wrong with the stamina. In this video I play 12 rounds and you can see for yourself how low the stamina is. The undisputed Devs just need to make fights 10 rounds and 3 minute real time clock speed online.
So I noticed the stamina in single player actually works correctly. You really have to pick your punches. Online even with the accelerated clock I’ve seen somebody throw over 500 modified power punches and still not be gassed.

Good game glad we got boxing back
My question is who in the world thought it was a good idea to make a boxing game with the majority of the fighters of old school retired Fighters the fighters that we watch now in the present which is year 2025 where are the present Fighters that we watch today? No one wants to use all those old school Fighters and I am 59 years old from the old school myself
I got it on ps5 I don’t play online but I like it it’s bare bones but it’s next gen boxing . I’d give it a 7
🤔⚠️You ever wonder why some games don’t get the right update? It’s because the Spammers and rage quitters are mainly only heard. Who cry and mold the game into something they can cheat the skilled to get fake wins for their broken ego. Cheating the purchase value of many others.
In a boxing simulator we want that online mental chess match. Boxing matches to make us think.
When most opponents get outboxed within 45 seconds they switch styles to spam. They switch to bug exploitation. They switch to something they know will override skill intelligence and timing with someone unfair. Due to the coding not being tight.
Why is it okay for the plague of gamers who want only negativity to ruin the purchase of many others?
Like comments to argue , hate, belittle, discredit, or to change the subject ..
It’s less of stopping players from cheating , quitting early in ranked etc and more of coding this in there to begin with to protect them. That’s the core issue. The developers programmed these things into the game.
They programmed it this way.
They try to make a wide net to keep rookies from rage quitting. So there will be bits in the coding just to pamper rookies but it’s so obvious and poorly executed you see that some aren’t allowed to lose via Ko at all. This applies to online ranked.
Inside fighting with short armed boxers most of the hit boxes are so bad you miss punches and big counters. And the opponent didn’t move an inch.
Stamina is drained just for basic 2 , 3 punch combos but not for players holding down punch modifiers for triple damage. Swinging the same power punches over and over not losing power for being tired , nor getting tired from swinging like that. Swaying and countering the obvious spam isn’t rewarding even with a sway and power counter of my own. Truly ruining the experience even more. Showing it’s heavily coded to rob intelligent players all together.
Feels like false advertisement and it’s an arcade game with the look of a boxing simulator.
Players who don’t box can’t land hits at all and land only power hits are rewarded triple recovery and damage to win.
To be so skilled to be able to dominate my opponent even with all those advantages against me you clearly see the coding doesn’t want me to win. And the Ko isn’t allowed. So most ranked matches are a randomized chance the coding will allow a ko to be scored if your too overly skilled over your opponent even with the same exact fighter vs the same fighter. The coding will not be even if its same fighter vs same fighter. It’s about giving the win to whoever is getting tore up and can’t seem to find the block button.
222 hooks landed in 5 rounds doesn’t pile on damage. They just recover. 6 knock downs doesn’t make it harder for them to get up or eventually call it a ko win. It’s usually they get more recovery and power up and knock your fighter out for being too much better. Rather than me getting the win.
Destroying an opponent in online ranked same fighter vs same fighter. 6 rounds , scoring a knock down every round. Not getting hurt a single time. And to get hit with one power shot and be completely out cold. What?
But why not me win for 6 knock downs and all the damage ??
It shows the damage just don’t count. It’s pointless
That’s how broken the game is.

My last ordered this for me without telling me. It literally just arrived. I’m scared to open the package. I waited 14 years for a boxing game. The only game I ever really played on my Playstation was Fight Night. I bought the PS5 in anticipation of an upcoming boxing game. I’m happy a new one came out, but damn it’s 2024;with today’s technology this game should’ve been futuristic.

@@LJ777 nah, someone said it best 2011's EA Fight Night on PS3/360 consoles is superior to this game @ 80 bucks. Sorry, this is 2024, if you can't make a game that isn't worth anything and then on top of that want me to pay that kinda money,, i better get something special. As it stands, Undisputed is a flyweight game on heavyweight consoles.
I’ve been playing the game for 3 days on my PS5 and was an AVID Fight Night player, this game isn’t bad at all. Def needs to patch up some minor things but overall gameplay and graphics are dope! Haven’t fought online yet (not big on online playing lol) but I’ll def chk it out
The game has so much potential, I've been at it since early access. I'm beating the snot out of these spammers with sim boxing but... I'm tired of playing the same "take my time and wait for their mistakes" fight... I get a sim player once every 10 fights. Hopefully, Patch is sooner than later... Throughout early access, I can't help but feel that the SCI Team is a lil incompetent. Think about how long early access was and how long it took them to remove that lead uppercut? Desync has been there since the beginning and it only got worse. Mind you the guys have been hitting them with info repeatedly about these issues and no reply. Then full release this is what they put out...
Yeah I’m just not good enough to compete with the power spam for a whole fight. I’ve seen people dismantle it online. They just need to adjust it so it doesn’t play that way. I want to fight different styles.
Simulation mode you also gotta block the appropriate side if your head along with high or low. The foundation is there, the fighter animations look really good, depending on how your moving, if you’re walking slow or moving fast and go the opposite direction the transitions look really nice. The fighting just needs a bit of a tune up. The leaning needs to be smoother. The punches seem to whiff a lot. I’m only an offline player, and I’m glad for that cause online looks not very good. I’m fine with good AI tho.. but I been finding some fighters that are just completely OP. Can’t beat Kevin Kelly with Loma on pro difficulty, but I can beat Loma with Kelly easy. Jorges Linares is also OP he’s a hard one to beat. I’m sure there’s more that need to be gone thru.
And the crazy thing is, fight night is still so much better.

@@nelsonshut6840 I completely agree with you but what we have now is an incomplete game so I’m not going to compare an incomplete game and say when they finish it it’s going to be better than fight night. once they do that then I will gauge undisputed.
Fight night is worse every one is fast, footwork garbage, unblockable combinations if you know how to spam them right, step back straight, side step uppercuts, push straight right, power punches that you can spam and the list goes on and my record is 735 and about 300 loses on fight night champion but I still believe undisputed is better it just needs a small patch

The game is a 6.5 maybe with the potential to be a 9-10 if they use the money they make to update and tweak. Add more boxers to the roster and if you can show the boxer com out with a belt on and walk to the ring.
Professinal boxers have an internal clock for 3 mins. I would advise any boxer not to look away to look at a clock!
This game looks like it wasn't made by people who know how to make fun videogames.
Great take Dave. I’ve had the game since early access and even applied to work at SCI. I quickly deleted my application when I found out what they were doing with the game. Commentary is the absolute worst, no ref, no presentation, just a few big named boxers, and a terrible camera. It was clear very early on that the game was going to just be bare bones and SCI wasn’t going to support it when 1.0 dropped. Long story short. It appeared to be a Ponzi scheme. Make a bare bones game with lots of hype and then run for the door with the customers cash.
Why they add that knockout when they go on their knees and then just collapse after the 10 count smh. That shit looks so silly

I'll wait until 2026 before I pay for a next gen console and undisputed. Ive been waiting a long time for a boxing game and said i would trade in my xbox one in for latest when one arrives! This aint it yet, I've seen 4 reviews and all say the same. I'll give it till 2026 and hope the game is where it should be. Meantime I'll continue to enjoy fight night champion
The main issue for me is the difference of stamina between you and ur opponent. Even if one only stick and move YOU will lose more stamina than ur opponent. Flash stuns are way to frekvent than it should be, and dont get me started with the heavy shots. If canelo has a granit chin boost, why does he get stuned and dazed after a few combos in the first round. And then u have the spammers, who do not lose any stamina when continously using heavy shots. Just to many issues with online gaming. And yes, one does get stuck when moving arround, any mode.
Good video, this game slick ass if you had any expectations for it, but it had some hype so hopefully it encourages EA to drop another fight night.
The movement is great the footwork is ass. You cant overwhelm dudes with different angles how Loma or Sean Porter might or really dance in and out range, like you either walk in or out of range it feels there is no inbetween. The counter system ass too, you cant really weave or parry punches how you could in fight night, you either walk in or out of range. In range it feels like rock-em sock-em robots.
Tanks isnt in the game, but his low output style isnt even feasible, the window to counter is damn near shorter than the time it takes to wind up a power punch. The best counter in this game a job, thats crazy.
Body shots are weird, in boxing and in fight night you go to the body to drain stamina, thats not really a thing in this game. Body shots are critical if your opponent stamina is low from spamming punches, but its not really used to break a fighter down or drain the tank for later rounds.
For the presentation to be as barebones and repetitive as it is, the gameplay being kind of ass on top of that is crazy. All that said, the game can be fun and has its moments, but for an $80 product idk... might be ass.

It does feel a bit rushed, but we been waiting forever.
So, thoughts so far, good, falls way short, sequel should be better. With that being said, EA has to put out a new fight night. I'm say'n, we get Madden, 2k basketball, WWE wrestle'n, FIFA, UFC, every single year, every year, why can't we get a box'n game regularly?. EA, you got the ball now...

I'm playing the game listening to HONEST reviews and I am angry that I bought this game. I've been waiting for this too. If they can fix this, cool but I'm not going to act like it's good or even passable because we finally have a boxing title.
This game is fun as hell, granted I'm not playing online. I don't get all the hate.... If they fix the online balancing issues and add more boxers then the stuff left to complain about would be super minor

@@JR0CK00 I never throw power punches because I hate the wind up animation, it's so unrealistic you would never see a fighter do that in real life because it's such a tell.... I'm not playing online, only against AI or a person in the room with me, so it's not an issue. I'm sure they'll nerf power punches because of the massive amount of people complaining about it

So I think I’m just going to move slow and See how this game develops. Only going slow because I’ve learned my lesson many times with pre-releases and pre-orders. Thousands of dollars pretty much gone. So I think it’s best to not do an impulse buy and see this through

This game was good before they said it was going to console. I honestly think this game was supposed to be computer only. While in development and early on this game had over 100 fighters it was the largest roster at the time. And the game play was top tier. Now it’s said to release on consoles and the game is flop. I think this game was sabotage

The camera in this game is out of control. Too much loving and zooming. I feel like they were hoping someone would step in midway through development, see what they were doing, and buy them up. It didn't happen and they had no choice to finish it themselves even though they were in over their head.

Why is no one discussing the commentary? It's really frustrating. I dislike how they use gender pronouns. The fighters are referred to as "they" and "their," even though none of the 70 fighters in the game are non-binary. It just feels off.

awesome accurate review man...the boxing game/sim has something special, or there wouldn't be this much talk around it. Why the hell can't they just do what you said...commentary, man it's bad, like 20 years ago bad...get the people blocking our fight view out of there...balance the game, no more power punch cheaters...etc. Add some polish to the presentation. the awful 90's boxing fall overs after being knocked down...man.... This would be the best boxing game over if these problems were addressed. Disgusting little things that could be easily fixed...in this day and age, budget aside....we paid decent money for this.

@@regulardave2975 because I am a random crazy person on the internet. You just had a bad take imo. The beardshot was only because I had no ammo and was riled. At the end of the day I can appreciate a person making content about something I am interested in even if I don't agree. The beard will from here on be respected but not the opinion on the game. The game isnt a sim but more of an arcade.. a lot is missing especially sound and mechanics.. seems unfinished at times but graphics are nice

The game is so bad , I honestly think they heard the rumours that EA are working on a new Fight Night and panicked and instead of delaying the game until it’s actually ready for release they thought/knew a new fight night will destroy our sales so get it out there build our fan base before it’s game over but they have done more damage because a lot of people ain’t happy with paying full price for a super unfinished Watered down gutted clunky game , also they only put out a smaller then normal amount of physical copies on disc to force people to buy A digital copy that way they get more money from the sales something tells me this mite of been a bit of a desperate cash grab
