Just gotta throw these casual rock em sock em type players who were expecting this to be like FN games, that this game actually takes footwork into account and you can open counter punch windows just by moving around regularly no slips or quick side steps etc. they just need to fix the actual boxing part and punch connectivity and add some more punch variations with the footwork and this game will be perfect!
Roy Jones is supposed to have P4P some of the most blazing handspeed and general speed in the history of boxing. This game makes him look slow... makes him look jank, awkward, stiff and slow.

Until this game is reasonably balanced, has actual time for the meta to be substantiated, has ongoing tournaments, and a sizable playerbase with a talent pool interested in playing competitively, anybody claiming to be the best or even one of the best is tripping lol. Way too early for that.
Someone proclaming to be the best, with footage to prove their skill will get the ball rolling with the system development lifecycle. Devs moral needs to be high and stakeholders bottom lines need to be met. Content like this helps the cause for sure.

How do you keep from getting sucked into your opponent? When I try to keep distance the game like vacuums me to my opponent and then I’m like walking in mud? I see content creators be able to use footwork and the game literally bogs my character down and velcros me to the other fighter. How are you guys preventing that?
Even tho I suck at this game (for the time being)...it is a much more realistic boxing game than the FN series..and is very fun to play. SCI still has the chance to make this game near perfect, if they make the right steps.
