Everything was pretty solid but the only recommendation that I have is either delete the black layer when exporting or turn in the .PSD file so we can remove the black background before printing. If you leave the black then it will create a black box that isn't so attractive. Instead when creating the file use a transparent background or export with the black layer hidden so the text will free float on the shirt.
That’s what I want to learn how to get rid of the box so it looks more authentically designed...his shirt looks great btw...I want to see a tutorial on how to do it
6:38 im having issues forcing an image into another. I'm pressing the ALT key (windows) but all it does is copy the layer instead of forcing it. Im on Photoshop CS6.
Really great video, I love the fact that you don't repeat yourself over and over like some people do just to make the video longer or they talk slow with zero information. Your video hit all the talking points needed to teach us how to do what you did. Keep up the great work. Can't wait to go watch more of your content now.
0:45 Ha! Proved you wrong. Didn’t have to find a video on learning Photoshop first. After watching the entire video I now want to learn photoshop. Thank you very much good sir.
Hello, on the blending option, what do you mean by hold "option" and move the arrow to split them into two? What's the "option" that needs to be hold ?
What I've been looking for in the past hour is just sizing of artboards and settings, I'm trying these out on Illustrator - my go-to software. Wish me luck!
Cheers so much Charley.. Your vids are great :-) One thing please (new to Photoshop) I'm worried about images being pixilated on t shirts as I'm used to Illustrator. How do you double check to make sure it looks good? Thanks heaps :-)
If you’re image isn’t forcing I tried clicking the Eye next to effects (hide I guess) and it worked. So hold ALT hover in between to merge them. then click the eye next to effects. Newbie helping another newbie. Be blessed.
I AM LOST FROM PUTTING A PICTURE INSIDE THAT GRUNGE BACKGROUND IS IT ALT ON A PC? BECAUSE I BEEN TRYING BUT IT DOESNT SEEM TO WORK. WHATS THE OPTION BUTTON YOU PRESSED?
the coolest thing is that for most videos I watch on RUclips, I have to set the playback speed to 1.5x to get through all the pauses and other useless stuff. Charley basically runs at 1.5x by default with no wasted seconds.
6:38 when I click the photo while holding option, I don't see the "box and downward" pointing symbol you have, I'm seeing it at all. not sure how to force the photo into the grunge background.
@Antony Moses please dude do you have an idea of what is the equivalent of the option button in windows i noticed that @charley pangus used a MAC so am confuse about witch button or command i must use
I absolutely love this video! I love how you give us step by step at a very medium pace. I have come across a ton of videos and all of the youtubers speak extremely fast and it's so hard to understand or follow along. Thank you! I look forward to more videos on this topic! :)
you forgot to say it should be a cmyk project cause the colors might look different if u print a rgb color project but i learned some new stuff from you so thank you
this was a great video and very much detail. But i wanna know how do you create any design in photoshop without a background after it is complete and how do you make it so crisp and nice on the mockup t shirt ?
Can I know where did you print this design??? Which printing process is best for complex design screen printing, sublimation heat transfer,DTF please reply 🙏ty
Hi charley . Thank you very much for your tutorial ,I use the old version of Photoshop and i am new of this program after i do it same your VDO step by step i can't force the photo inside of the grunge background. So, can you please more explain for more of this thing to me. thank you very much

@@maceastin27 just click in the eye of that layer and hide it
Excellent point. I hate the black box.
That is obvisly i think thats why he didn't talked about it
Your Intro already got me interested, cool, simple, honest introduction.
For anyone on windows 4:00 and 6:30 when he says "options" its the alt key
thank you
For the "Blend if" part for splitting the icon, for windows, hold down the "alt" key. For MAC, its options.
Thanks so much
THX!
Thank you so much! I'm literally dying to find for the option key. Godspeed
absolute legend
ur the goat got stuck on that for so long
did you remove the black background ?

Do you sell your t shirts designs online and in a good month how much do you get?
@@nigel_ngwenya I have a redbubble shop called KatsZen. I don't make very much money, however I don't update my shop as much as I could.

Hi dear 😙
I really enjoyed watching you this was my first time learning to make a design thank you so much.
Hey. Enjoy the content - do you have a graphic designs principles course?
.
you forgot to say it should be a cmyk project cause the colors might look different if u print a rgb color project but i learned some new stuff from you so thank you
I don’t typically design in cymk. Also you would want to convert colors to Pantone anyway for screen printing… RGB is fine for direct to garment.
Dope work and tutorial
Good tutorial, it will be nice if you show us how to export the document for printing. And one more question, what RGB profile are you using?
What canvas size should i use if i want to create a design for the sleeve of a hoodie or long sleeve shirt in photoshop?
