I am so nervous and excited at the same time as I received my first shipping order request, and I immediately went to search your channel for instructions. Of course, as always, you never disappoint, and what a treat to find out that you shipped them to my home state of South Cackalacky!!! The customer requested them for end of next month. Praying all goes well. Thanks for the video!!!
That South Cackalacky😂😂😂. Where are you shipping them to? Being nervous is normal. I’m nervous every time I ship mine too. They will be fine. I try not to ship after March because the weather gets warm and hot.

I'm sold on the crunch of the candy. I was waiting on him to bite into it. Honestly, I thought your straws were a little too long. You could have cut them a little. Great job on the product and video.
Hi Vivian and thank you so much! Yes, my candy apples have the perfect crunch and they are not thick. I barely made it to FedEx before the last shipment. I only had 3 minutes to run in that door. Only if you could've saw me running in there....😂😂😂
Good afternoon, Im a new subscriber watching your videos have me feeling confident I can do this, thank you. Question a friend of mines having her 50th birthday November , Cancun Mexico Im looking to do the candy with the liquor bottle inserted. Do you think the apple be ok under the plane? Thank you
No, don’t make the candy apples because you’re not sure how hot it gets underneath. Infused candy apples definitely is not a good idea because when you’re making those I must be deliver as soon as possible. You do not want the liquor to seep out. I hope this helps you.💕
I don't advise making no apples and putting them underneath the plane unless you know 100% it will remain under 65 degrees under there. Cancun Mexico is very hot. I think they will melt as soon as you touch down in Cancun. Can you not make them where you will be staying at during the vacation?
Did you use the powdered corn syrup for these? I have someone who wants an order shipped from Arkansas to California so I want to make sure its as stable as possible.
No. This was just a test to see how they arrived. According to the guy in the video they arrived fine. Yes, use the powdered corn syrup for stability just in case.
For me it depends on how much FedEx is charging to ship to a particular city and state. FedEx charges different shipping fees based on how far the city, state, and weight is. Basically, to break it down I charge whatever price I am charging for a plain/decorative dozen plus the shipping fee. I hope this helps you.
My favorite candy apple recipes to get your apples covered with the perfect crunch! Non-thick candy apples covered in one pot: 🍏SMALL BATCHES: Candy Apple Recipe 3-2-1 for up to 5 apples. 🍏MEDIUM BATCHES: Candy Apple Recipe 4-3-1 for up to 6-8 apples. 🍏LARGE BATCHES: Candy Apple Recipe 6-4-1 for up to 8- 24 small apples.
I haven't tried or tested the dry ice myself so I wouldn't be able to put my input on that. Now, I've heard people do that. However, I would be afraid that when they bite into the apple all of the candy will fall off at one time but that's just my opinion because I've heard of others doing it. I recommend just testing it. You can test doing this by mailing it to a family, friend, or even mail it back to yourself to see what happens.
Make sure it's next day shipping. For some reason with the regular postal office shipments, packages gets to the destination a day or two late. Don't forget to charge the customer for shipping.
Hello Raven. In this video I used small apples from Walmart in the bag. It just depends on what I'm doing it for. If it's a big event requesting over 100 apples you better believe I'm using small apples...lol. Large apples takes up a lot of candy. I usually get small-medium apples from Walmart. I get my large apples from my local Farmer's Market or local Apple Orchard.
Ok thanks because for a dozen I normally get the larger ones and use the 6-1-1 method and never have as much candy left over as I should. If I use smaller apples would I have to lower my prices

Don't ship unless you know the exact amount of the shipping cost to past that fee to your customers. Customers don't mind paying the price if they love your apples. I shipped candy apples using the individual candy apples enclosure casing, bubble wrap each apple and mailed them inside a box with clothing, bubble wrap the inside of the box, paid $60 for 2 day shipping, apples arrived late, box busted open and all mostly all the apples were broken, straws were bent and due to arriving late all the candy melted off. Complete fail for me
OMG!!! How long ago was that? This is why I did this video to test the results. This was a last minute thing, but I will do this again with improvement using the proper insulated boxes and items for cooling so I don't have to use all that packing paper. Mine didn't break and he said they wasn't sticky! Now I was totally shocked and surprised they didn't arrive sticky, but I had that ice block to keep them cool! I had the candy apples packed down with bubble wrap bags and packing paper so they wouldn't break or move. Only one straw bent so I'll use wooden sticks the next time. I know many people had failures with this. You must make sure the candy apples arrive the next day if you're going to do it and to keep them cool. It sounds like you paid more and the apples still didn't arrive on time and got messed up during shipping. (Shipping cost also depends on location too.) This is why I don't put "fragile" on the boxes because it seems like the truck drivers and handlers will throw the boxes around on purpose....lol. (Just my opinion.)
