this women was my entire childhood. And she still never fails to put a smile on my face and remind me of the good days. Thank you so much for everything my queen
You tested newer versions of gadgets I inherited from my Grandmother. I have her cooky press from the 50s and a apple/peeler/corer from the 70s. I've only used the tree shape for cookies, and now I know that the "y" makes heart shaped cookies. Thank you, I had no clue!
That apple machine is my number 1 kitchen item for feeding kids. My kids love them and we make ‘apple nachos’ almost every night with the apple slices, some warm peanut butter drizzled over, and some slivered almonds and mini chocolate chips on top.
those drink dispenser gadgets are PERFECT for kids or people with arthritis or other issues with their hands/wrists who might struggle to lift and pour from a larger container! that could really help a lot of folks!
She is literally beautiful, like a literal queen. She was my childhood, she kept me alive for years and years. Props to you, you raised half of the people here. Be proud!❤
My aunt has an old school cookie press still and uses it every year! The tree and a star one with red and green dough. She calls them spritz cookies. They are soo good and nostalgic for me.
As an Asian kid we have rice dispensers that can hold a whole 50 lb bag of rice. It usually has 3 buttons depending on the serving size too. I know Ro said it was huge but it looks tiny compared to my household lol
I've had a pickle/olive jar for over 30 years. I love it. Also the apple peeler corer slicer. As long as your apples are fresh and crisp it works like a charm, but if they're even the tiniest bit soft they just mush up
The apple “cutter, slicer and peeler” in Australia we call those a slinky machine, they were and still are massively popular at the school canteen in primary school. Regular apple? Ew no. Slinky apple? Always yes. Did you really go to an Aussie public school if you didn’t have slinky apples? They are 10/10 more fun to eat than regular apples. I’m 23 now and I still love me a slinky apple. Trust me, it’s good for the soul.
I'm honestly shocked you've never seen the apple core thing. My mom had one of those for like 30 years before it finally kicked the bucket last month. Makes making apple pie so much easier.
Yes! I’m floored that she has never used/seen one before! I don’t understand how that is even possible! And my mother’s apple peeler is over 30 years old and still working perfectly! I can’t even picture making an apple pie without it!
I used to "demo" those Apple corer, slicer, peeler things at my mom's tupperware parties when I was a kid! OMG the memories! It was so funny when we tried to use it on a kiwi, didn't work, too soft, but so funny. Also, adjust the "cutter" part of it so the opening is smaller so it takes off less good apple
literally what i was going to say ! Metric measurements are global (apart from the two or three countries that use imperial) so you’re more likely to get metric measurements on a global company’s product
@@ashliejayde 💯 The only countries that don't use metric are the US, Liberia and Myanmar. (Myanmar uses their traditional weights and measures system) Both Liberia and Myanmar have announced that they will be adopting metric soon.
Also, if you know that a metric cup is 250mL and a US cup is 240mL (not sure why they didn't use 250mL), you don't actually need to have a separate cup measurement. Most measuring cups use a longer line at the ½ cup and cup gradations too.
right? she's complaining ONE product has metric and that they could've made with cups (too) and I honestly had to take a brief break cuz when has the US ever done the reverse? ofc an american is complaining about metric. I love Ro, but damn.
I mean in her defense, this was being sold on the US Amazon app and marketed to Americans, so I don't think it's unreasonable to want the standard US measurement system on there. If the reverse was done (a product that didn't have the metric system being sold to a country that uses the metric system) - the critique would be the exact same and would also be valid.
The apple spiralizer is so nostalgic for me. My middle school social studies teacher (shout out to Mr. Bock over 20 years ago) had one. It was the only class we were allowed to snack in. The only rule was our snacks had to be spiral. Apples were the most eaten but pears work well too!
I love the cookie press the best, can't wait till I buy one in any baking store or online to make multiple kinds of cookies for Christmas !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Ro you are incredible, I love your videos. The different designs you can make with the cookie press are so amazing and adorable. The macaron mat is so helpful, I've seen people using that on lots of baking shows on TV. The apple core slicer is so cool, I love the apple spirals, so cute.
Awe i baked with my grandmother all the time. Her favorite desserts were apples so the apple corer, and peeler brought back so many wonderful memories of making apple pie, fritters, sauce, crumble, and cobbler
You are the most inspiring person I have ever seen and you are always able to put a smile on my face! You are so talented, and you have such a fun and likeable personality. You are awesome at what you do and awesome at pretty much anything else! Thank you for being exactly who you are
The apple peeler, corer, slicer thing is amazing for making apple pie filling! Another thing I grew up with as a kid! Hubby and I got one as a kitchen aid attachment so even less work. ❤❤❤❤
The cookie press though!! Mine’s an antique so it’s not as slick and precise as the one Ro used (you kind of gotta glob the cookies onto the tray and lift when it’s the height you want) but I love them! We really just use it at Christmas but it’s such a handy little thing. EDIT: the apple corer and peeler is such a godsend! It’s why I love making apple pie, it’s so easy! Mine is also vintage 😂 I work with old gadgets but I want some of these new ones!
I tested these gadgets and omg thank you so much for these recommendations Ro! Ive always been a big fan of yours ever since I was a child! Thank you again and happy holidays and merry Christmas to you and your family!

I love the beautiful kitchen gadgets they are so useful for your hard working life and our life thanks for uploading this amazing video Ro love you Rosanna ♥️♥️♥️🌹🌹🌹
I have that rice dispenser for over an year now Nd I am telling u it's a blessing for us Asians whose staple food is as we can store 8-9 kilos of rice in it ....also the top cap sealing does not make much difference as u don't stick Ur hand or anything inside...easy to pour rice space saving as it's tall not round and nothing falls when not in use...😍😍
OMG!!! im in australia and in primary school it was so popular to go to the canteen and get an apple slinky!! Using that machine, we all thought it was so cool back in the day 🥰🥰
Hi Ro. First I would like to apologize if my English is not so good. For a long time I haven’t watched your videos even though I am a long time subscriber. You and your energy here kind of takes me back to 7-8 years ago, when I first came across your channel with the heart shape red velvet valentine cake. Loved it so much, and seeing you today is like visiting an old friend whom I spent great years of my life with, so calm and reminiscent. Thankful to see you are happy and successful in what you do. I wish you all the best, queen
I think my old neighbors mom has one of the cookie presser and she makes one of the best christmas cookies and I believe she does this every year for the holidays 😍😋❤️
I have the apple peeler/slicer/corer, the ice cube tray/container w/scoop, the cookie press, and the macaron mat! I don't have that rice dispenser, but I love the one I do have! It doesn't seal the top with rubber, either, but I've never had a problem with it, and I've had it for years. That fountain drink dispenser looks really neat, too. I love kitchen gadgets.
I need to invest in a cookie press like that seriously! We had one as a kid and I would always help my dad every year make them. We would make a jello cookie recipe (using the powder of jello) and do different colors like green for lime or the reddish one for black cherry, etc. Let me tell you, those cookies were delicious as a kid and such a joy to make every year for Christmas. And we would use the green for trees and other colors in ones that looked like snowflakes. That brought back memories and I need one!!! Wait til I tell my family that they still make them!
My parents have one that lasted years for us but it's a screw-on one that would hold a lot better than a suction-cup-based one because it's like that suction-cup based x-to pencil sharpener that holds for a little bit than when you go to sharpen your pencil the sharpener would have un-suction from your work surface so getting one of the apple corer peeler devices to get one that has a screw-on base even that means doing it at your dinning room table.
on the subject of the cookie press, my grandma's mom had one and my mom's mom has her great grandma's. also, the apple coring machine, is something my dad's mom has and never uses, so she sold it. however, I like using things like that for pie filling, sliced apples cook threw with less time then wedges, for most pie recipes.

I love the apple peeler corner. But I just recently found that kitchen aid has one as a mixer attachment and so far it has worked amazingly!
As an Asian kid we have rice dispensers that can hold a whole 50 lb bag of rice. It usually has 3 buttons depending on the serving size too. I know Ro said it was huge but it looks tiny compared to my household lol
First gadget - my family called it a ‘spritz’ press. Loved it! Swirl different coloured doughs together and the cookies are amazing.
