GRiii and RX1R Metering Modes

In this video I demonstrate the metering modes of the Ricoh GRiii, GRiii x and the Sony RX1R. This is just a quick overview of the various modes and also shows you how to achieve Highlight Weighted metering on a camera that doesn't have it.

Not sure if this has been done already but I've never seen a picture quality comparison between the RX1 and the GR, I would be really interested in seeing that (based on similar pictures taken on the two cameras). I currently own the GR2 and been wondering if the RX1 is worth the upgrade.

I'll see if I can post some comparison files somewhere?? as for the lens and the sensor, the RX1 is a little better than the GR series, but not for zone/snap focusing. I dont have a GR2, but the GR3 is much faster than the RX1R... and pocketable 🙂

@@photostuffThanks that could be great to be able to compare a few files 🙂 (raw ones ideally). But I think it's also a good idea of content, we don't see too many apsc versus full frame comparisons in real life.
