    Honestly, you became my main source of Hytale content recently. There are not that many people still making Hytale videos (for obvious reasons). And even if there is no new information I like just listening to people talk about the game.

    Is Minecraft really a survival game? It doesn't have a story like Hytale, but it's not like it's about surviving. It's about developing your builds, your character, progressing through the game, finding new stuff. Survival is not a core part of the game even in the "survival" mode. It's as much survival as a shooter in which you need to consume something to heal and you try not to die. The difference is - You can make food yourself. Which is also the case in Hytale. I don't really see how one can be called survival without calling the other survival too. I tend to agree it doesn't look like survival game, but I also don't think Minecraft really is a survival game. Vintage Story is a survival game.

    If hytale does gets a redstone equivalent i believe it should be restricted to the creative mode as a lot of cool fights and dungeons would be easily cheased by a arrow machine gun or a lava trap

      I feel like creating a contraption for every single encounter would have diminishing returns in terms of progression efficiency to just doing the content the normal way. If that kind of thing is a design problem, minecraft would have it (it doesnt)

      Minecraft does have it, literally no one fights the wither or the ender dragon using the game's combat they just trap the wither in an bedrock chamber or explode the dragon with tons of beds

      @@pedrolucasdemoura1885 That's kind of an irrelevant point. The Minecraft bed strat was not in the game on the day the Enderdragon released. Also, most people that I know who play Minecraft don't use this strategy. To them, beating the ender dragon with what they worked for is what makes it so fun. While others, beating the ender dragon in a different and unique ways is more to their liking. I don't think Redstone should be limited to creative mode, and I fully agree with 3taps's statement on diminishing returns. The amount of time it would take for people to find these ideas is longer than it would take for people to just do it the normal way. At least that's my take on it. Besides, even if people find an OP way to kill things fast, it is really all up to the person fighting the monster what to do, and what they consider more fun.

      @@pedrolucasdemoura1885 Nah, not everyone will do that and even if people were, it wouldn't be any fun because it wouldn't be a challeng or interesting to do in combat, building lots of mechanisms to clear one dungeon doesn't seem like it would cheap or be quick, just use lots of bombs at that point.
      A redstone equivalent wouldn't be a bad thing in adveture mode it adds more possible things we can do in the game.

      To me, spawning the Wither Boss in a way that it can fight back, is essentially greifing.
