I feel your pain I have honestly solid characters but the RNG for the artifacts keeps screwing me over and because of this the new character I now have I can’t level some traces because I can’t beat it. I don’t care what anybody says I think if you fail a boss a good number of times you should be able to bring in a character from a friends list.
I like how hoyoverse has the VAs for robots make the "beep" and "buzz" sfx themselves. Though, a downside is that it takes away from the atmosphere sometimes
I absolutely lost it at Caelus’ VA voicing the dessert cats. MC’s have so much personality and I love it I will never forgive Raun Mei for baking them…
Funny thing, im fairly new to the game and i accidentally did this quest a bit early, so I was totally unprepared for the ending, barely got past it and it took me a couple tries
Never trust food from others, ladies and gents. They may be a sociopath looking to drug you. (Also I'm going to drag that woman back to take care of her creations. Their crying got to me.)
That quest was fun ngl. I only survived that boss with March and FMC and Herta and Natasha. It was painful as hell. I prayed to Jesus the whole fight. RM’s “children” are weirdly cute. At least she’s becoming a responsible mother now.
The bug was a pretty tough fight. I had skipped the last two patches (so much to do now) but I got Sparkle so I ran her, Seele, SW and Lady Fu. Fu Xuan is probably my best built character but there were a couple of close calls. Also, Screwllum needs to be playable already.
Hmm..... The key to defeating it lies in two actually. Enhanced break effect and Attack as often as possible. That's why Ruan Mei and Ratio perfect for this since Ruan Mei enhance break and Ratio follow up attack. Also there's Argenti for AoE physical if you have him. The tips I can give is just gave your team proper healer and shielder. Also when the Bug has the barrier on it, try to focus the attack as much as possible on it to quickly break its toughness
Yea, I'm not a big fan of her. I respect them trying to make a morally gray character, but at the same time you never get the opportunity to question her about things like drugging us, playing with life, trying to revive a galaxy-destroying creature, etc...as the story keeps trying to force sympathy for her by saying that "deep down she cares".
gotta say, the English voice is pretty bad. Idk if its the voice direction or the va just missing the point, but Ruan Mei's voice completely miss characterized her compared to the original Chinese voice. I think hoyo outsources their English translations, and they need to find someone better.

I just used food buffs and Herta + March + FMC + Natasha. I almost died but we pushed through it considering that I have no characters.

The story boss was much harder than the Echo of War version. A very different approach to story balance.

The most important thing you need to know is, don't bring a qua dps for it. It has very high qua res

You probably need a shielder and healer. I used Fire MC, Dr Ratio, Guinaifen, and Lynx. If you have alternatives you can try them too
