Yup, it's written in this way because Hoyo learnt that players don't want to play a mc with just a male or female skin.

I noticed this as well. Also- if he's telling the truth, their identities match up. Black Swan keeps calling the Meme "Death" and he accuses her of being an Emanator that "brings death".
My personal HC is that she doesn't realize what she is or what she's doing, and her forgetfulness is a symptom of that. She can't handle the truth of her existence so she forgets about the people who are hurt around her after a time. Not matter how hard she fights or how hard she tries, she's trapped in a spiral of disaster because she IS disaster.
The really just *Kallen'd* Firefly just so people would understand Otto a bit better.

Funnily enough though, that no compassion for the enemy line Acheron says is actually a refeence to something a character from Honkai Impact 3rd said to Raiden Mei, that stuff with some design details have lead to a fan theory that Ahceron is not an "expy" of Raiden Mei but is literally Raiden Mei from Honkai Impact 3rd with some sort of memory loss going on.
That “oof” during the cutscene was one of the best timed stream donations I’ve EVER seen 😂😂😂

to be honest from the very start of this game i already knew things won't remain pleasant for long
I got Jing yuan yesterday, and let's just say my life has not been the same since.
Still don't have cyno, I joined genshin during his last rerun (Had not enough primos to pull). How unfortunate.
But, fun fact, I looked at Cyno, then I looked at Ayato and thought: Anubis guy cooler than wet guy, Ima get this dude.
Firefly is March 7th
I have a couple of theories re: Firefly and Sam.
1. Firefly is Sam’s “conscience” or whatever, and Sam is her physical body. Something must have happened when arriving in Penacony that separated them, giving Firefly her own body and Sam his own conscience/mind. Then, when they reunited, they couldn’t merge back together because they were their own people. So they ended up exploring together. As to whether or not Firefly is alive…I don’t know what I can say.
2. Firefly is sick, and the Stellaron Hunters promised her a cure if she helped them in some way. She was desperate, so she had no reason to say no. This theory doesn’t tie into Sam as much, but it’s a work in progress.

The only way to escape is to have bad connection it was so bad that I couldn't interact with the enemy's and them with me so I used it to breeze right through the hotel
Who wanna bet that Caelus will become Otto due to this story ....
You need to remember that Firefly is a Stellaron Hunter member (or at least associated with them) and hence a criminal in the eyes of a galaxy ranger. That's the reason Acheron didn't react to help Firefly. here are my thoughts:
1. Acheron is an emanator and when we first meet her before reaching Penacony she already proved it by understanding how the memoria works and bumping us off to wake us up. She can enter Memory Zone at will and even Black Swans was saying that she is hiding everything from us. Why? Because Black Swan can't read Acheron's memory. She's obviously blocking them. No ordinary humans can do that.
2. Annihilation gang: They're still around and will be dealing with them later on.
3. Firefly already hinted that her body is in the cold medical cabin. You can't bring that into Penacony without being seized by security. So how did she manage to get inside? Well, Sam brought her in (I mean her conciseness) with the help from Silver Wolf of course. She is the master hacker after all. Is she really dead depends on a damage it was made to her physical body.
