My wife is now watching as well, and you two are helping me so much in persuading her that your life is awesome., and we should do it now. One question she had this morning was "why don't they head south for the winter?" I said I think their work requires them to be around Seattle, is that correct? Please know that you bring a lot of joy to thousands and thousands of us every week, and that is not something many people in the world can say...thank you both.
Kind of...we love the cruising here and don’t want to go south until we get to Alaska which is likely summer 2021. Plus, having a liveaboard slip is hard to come by so we don’t want to lose that before we absolutely plan to leave the PNW.

Another great Sunday morning adventure. We just returned from two nights at Prevost and a night at Eagle Harbor on Cypress Island. We won the weather lottery too - and once again knew the beauty of fall/winter cruising in the PAC NW. Good to see the big smiles and holiday cheer. Merry Christmas!

There are so many channels about life aboard a yacht. I enjoy yours very much as you do not go into much drama. While once in a while I really do not care about what food you eat (as an example) I like understanding the mechanics of how you live, generator, sewage, anchoring, systems!, etc.
I am living vicariously through you guys. Each week I look forward to your videos. And, I see both myself and my wife in you as a couple. I ask myself why I didn't do this earlier in my life (though it's still in my plan). Of course, work was not as flexible as it is now. So, if the creek don't rise, I hope we'll be on the water again in the next couple years. Wishing you both the greatest health, happiness and good fortune in the year ahead. Keep those videos coming!

This channel always remands me of a genre of Japanese movies called "Iyashikei". I don't know the English equivalent. It is a "slice of life" sub genre called "Healing type". Basically put this is one of those few channels where the life style is interesting yet relaxing. MV Freedom is the type of show you want to sit back with a warm drink and just relax. Thanks for allowing us to experience what day to day life is like on a boat.

Looks like Shawn should add "outdoor outlet" to his project list. It comes in really handy for things like plugging in a polisher or an electrical appliance or Dino.
We are from Oregon and one year we left our Nordhavn 46 at Ganges on Salt Spring Island, BC, for the winter and spent about half time on the boat and cruising as far north as Campbell River. It is a great time of year to cruise.
Boat decorations look awesome and it's kind of fun decorating your boat we do it every year for our DACA lights not much fun taking stuff apart and putting in some place till next year but your boat looks awesome Vegas bill

Boy your videos are getting better all the time. The drone shots and your editing are really pro looking, you could make a full length video on boat systems, Norhavns or cruising and sell a dvd. You should really consider a Webasto Diesel heater. Burns a fraction of the diesel to get the same heat that you’re currently getting from running the generator. Plus less hours on the generator means less maintenance and longer life. Very happy for you two.
The Mausoleum was an unexpected gem in the woods and its symbolism was especially resonant in 2020. It reminded me of a little-known park in a quiet corner of Giudecca in the city of Venice where architects were invited a long time ago to design small temples and chapels to be placed in the outdoors.
