Just found your channel. Nice info. Just to add. West Sound Marina is rustic but easy to dock. Deer Harbor is also nice but very difficult to dock at due to strong currents. Ask for help. Its the most difficult harbor I have ever docked at. Sucia is very crowded. Fishermans bay is nice and easy to dock at. But alot more difficult to transit even at a slightly low tide. Go at a High Tide. Hope for more videos.

Great video, thanks for posting. I just bought a boat and am using your tips to help plan our first trip this summer. Just as an FYI, the Northern Moorage Sites link is no longer valid.

Planning our first trip to the San Jauns. Thanks so much for the info. Coming from Port Townsend was told to go to Spencer Spit state park. I’m wondering now if there would be better choices.

yes the ones at the stat parks are limited to 45 feet. parks.wa.gov/passes-permits/permits/moorage-permit#:~:text=Buoys%20use%20is%20limited%20to,moor%20at%20Washington%20State%20Parks. I am not sure about the DNR ones.
