For people like us, there never will be an affordable option for these cute little wall mazes. I've decided that I'm going to design one specifically for a certain wall (haven't decided yet, just got idea today because I've shopped around and can't find any that aren't over $100, most are 3-500 but they go over $1000! Can you believe that?!) Anyways, design it how you want, use Google photos for reference, have a tape measure out so you mark how big you want everything, just picture it, and jot it down. Then, everything else is at Lowe's/home Depot and maybe Michael's or a craft store for the sisal pole wrap and cloth! I swear if I had the money to invest, I could make these and make them affordable to sell for people! I make a lot of my own items to save money. Just food for thought.
Well,some things just need to be expensive to have a reasonable quality.These people have to pay their workers who do everything by hand,also they need high quality materials,that cost alot of money ofc.They could make it cheaper,but the products sure would suck due to their low quality and no stability.That sure sucks for people who don't have that money but you can also build these by yourseld.

Good. So many cats suffer a miserable life in homes, it‘s about time cat owners realize that cats need to climb and have places to retreat from kids and dogs.
My female cat gave birth to 4 kittens ,the male was curious she jumped at him and since then he is afraid to go in that room even to eat ,he goes outside and when he is in he is so scared ,no kids no dogs ,im trying to build some high shelves for him even if now they all sleep together in my bed mom dad and kids 🙄🤣
Just because some people can’t afford the stuff in this video doesn’t make their cats miserable. Just play with them often and maybe give them a good spot to hide, if that is their personality.
Be cool if you could add a litter box option. Right now my litter sits on a cart to keep my dog from eating cat poop. 🐈 Also spots to install and switch out toys to bat around. Beautiful work of art.
For people complaining about cost for a large set if you made it with the same materials it would cost 2-300$ less. But for people like me instead of taking the time out to make it I can do my job and make that 2-300$ to pay so I dont have to build it myself...so people who are thinking the price is crazy...it's really not
$300 will get ya maybe three shelves on their site. I can do the same for $50. That's wood, mounts, stain, burlap, rivets.. It's all about know-how. In the end the un-educated always pay more...
@@hewpow I've been building elaborate cat furniture and have considered doing just what you said. I got plywood scraps from a custom wood shop for free, but in the end the scraps were too heavy. I needed lightweight, non-plywood boards, which one does not find readily. I did find scraps from a carpet store that were good, although not the color I wanted. Thanks anyway for adding to the America bashing.
Honestly it is over priced. And it looks just as ugly as the normal cat trees which are a complete eyesore. And I disagree, because the material is very cheap even the finish is normal nothing exclusive. $300 for 5 pieces is pretty darn expensive..

@Birgit Hovedskou - The video showed a weight test, and I saw another video with a CHILD climbing up the mods! I'm sure that - if installed correctly into studs - your big kitties will be able to tromp on them with no problems. I'd love to see that!

I grew up just south of Portland and met Mike while he was working in the city. He is originally from Ann Arbor, Michigan and started missing his family after a couple years. So we moved out here so he could be closer to his family again. When we first got out here, just the two of us were working out of our garage and now we have over 20 employees working with us. We've kind of have a new family of our own out here, so we couldn't imagine moving at this point 🥰

Omg...I need some catwalks. So tired of my cats playing and sleeping in my sh*t. They are happy to play on a cardboard box that is too small for them. They make sure they fit in it. Haha 😹
Anything is only worth what people are willing to pay for it. Plenty of people will pay for this. Personally I won't because I can do it myself for a fraction of the cost. That said, it takes time to do it right and not everyone has the time.
@R J I'm sorry for your loss. I don't know if you interpreted my comment differently to how I intended it. I also don't care about material things. I do see the value in this furniture but for me, I like to be creative and I'm making my own cat tree with real branches. I've gathered my branches, cleaned, sanded and treated them. Now I need to design exactly how I want it. I want to put it near the window and have shelves and a bridge on the wall that they can get to from the tree. If i didn't have the time or knowledge to do it myself then I absolutely would invest in the best i can afford for my cats. What I'm hoping to create would cost me £1000+ to buy. The time alone is prohibitive to many people. I get that.

This will be my 2 girls first Christmas so I'm hoping that the tree will be more enticing than my Christmas tree. I am fully expecting to be brushing up broken baubles before the holidays. Do I seem annoyed? I'm not. If they want the Christmas tree too they can have both😂

Maybe address the urination issue 1st. If they're peeing on everything there's a reason. It could health or territorial. Are they male? Neutered? These are all factors.
I just ordered a system from you! I understand that some people can't afford your products, but I feel for the quality and the concepts, it's worth the cost. Hell, I'm paying more than that in health insurance! Plus, it will last practically forever! I ordered the Cat Mod play system and an Indiana Jones bridge that I plan on spanning a window.
This is kinda genius. Because a big deluxe cat tree takes of a lot of space, often too much space... But most people can spare and have empty wall space. So why not use that wall space for the cats. It's a win / win for both the homeowner and the cat.
Absurd prices. Get yourself down to a diy store get the basics and get someone round to build it. Much cheaper. Especially when u can buy a lot of this on Amazon
My place is really too small for this fantastic creation but kitty still craves the upper levels. She climbs onto shelves which almost touch the ceiling. This is where she observes her domain.

You’ll have to look for regular shelves, put a little rubber backing on them and you can make something similar for under $50
