Thanks Andy for another outstanding video. Hugely enjoyable. Grateful to you for sharing your knowledge of this most beautiful part of the country. As a new subscriber I'm getting immense pleasure from working backwards over your vids. Great photography and highly atmospheric music by the way. Best wishes
Thanks John very much appreciated mate...lots lots more to come from the channel Mate...just back in now from the Hills...an epic route up Great Gable coming soon 😊 ATVB take care John Andy and The ROCK STAR ⭐
Yours and Traceys content is outstanding, fantastically shot and put together, baffles me why only 600 views. Think you both need a van conversion project... Just watching your Causey Pike video, makes you feel like you're there
Hey Andy, what a great video and one hell of a walk rewarded with absolutely stunning views. The drone footage was just superb and certainly adds so much to your films. I think most of us would get lost in the ascent through that forest, not easy at all mate but appreciate your instructions. A beautiful day for that hike but i bet it was quite difficult with the heat and you both must of been very happy to find that water when you got back down. A cracking walk mate, great watch, take care
Thanks Steve yeah what a beautiful area that forest is wild as hell and very easy to get lost in...fantastic Mountains mate and yeah I love that Drone 😊 👍🏻 ATVB Andy and The ROCK STAR ⭐
This route was the same as we took on my last round and Penny's first. I got a proper telling off, too hot and too far she told me amongst other things!!🤔 A grand walk, great views. Thanks for taking us along, ATB Marra cheers Alistair 👍
Thanks Al.. Ennerdale is unique every Mountain from Ennerdale is a long walk in so it's often very quiet and remote...just what I prefer... Thanks for watching buddy much appreciated Andy and The ROCK STAR ⭐
Awesome hike in hot conditions, Billy is definitely a rockstar! We did a similar hike with Eddie Caisley and Alan Metalman a few years ago. We know how tough the route up to Pillar is, even finding the path in the forest is tricky. Loved Steeple, it's an absolute Lake District gem. Great video, regards Ashley
Thanks for watching Ashley very much appreciated...yeah Ennerdale realy is beautiful...Pillar for a long time was my favourite Mountain...This side of the Lake District and theses routes are always less busy than from Wasdale side...Billy like me is most happy in the Hills he was born for this a very special dog with a beautiful nature ATVB Andy and The ⭐ROCK STAR⭐
Thanks for the Sub and watching buddy very much appreciated... aye Pillar Cove/Pillar Rock/Shamrock Traverse is a cracking way up...lol its one steep pull from the forest ATB Andy and The ROCK STAR ⭐
Thoroughly enjoyable video Andy. I wouldnt like to try follow your ascent route through the forest but apart from that a brilliant hike. Amazing views and drone footage again. I did the horseshoe from Wasdale and the Summit of Steeple was the icing on the cake much more spectacular than i ever imagined. Cheers once again
Thanks Tony aye these Hills I'd say are some of the Lake Districts best for drama and epic views...i loved the drone shots from Steeple... Seeing things from a new dimension after years of Fell Walking gives me a real buzz... Thanks for watching buddy much appreciated Andy and The ROCK STAR ⭐
Another great walk Andy with tremendous views to be had! Superb drone footage which yet again gives a totally different perspective on the area around 😊😊 Water, tastes, bloody good on a hot day eh?? Loved watching Billy collect stones out of the beck❤ was thinking while watching Billy clise to the edge have you ever had heart in the mouth incident were he got a bit too close 🤔🤔Excellent walk qith you & The one & only Rockstar 👏 🎉
He's very good David and he'll only do what he feels safe with...lol Billys a very interesting dog it's his way or no way he'll not be forced at anything...obviously I'm always looking out for him especially if we did get ourselves in the wrong place and he needed a bit of help or encouragement but in general he really has learnt his craft..in hard tricky situations its that fear that keeps us both safe. Thanks for watching buddy and yeah that Cumbria watter is the best in't world ATVB Andy and The ROCK STAR ⭐
thanks for that, taking some friends up there to YHA ennerdale in mid october, this is a perfect route to follow. Sadly the GPX route doesnt seem complete, can u help
Cheers AJ thanks for watching bud...ive checked the GPX on my apps and it's opening ok on Outdooractive, Vewranger and Locus Maps so I'm not sure bud what you trying to open with?
Hi Andy. Loved this. We did exactly the same route (including the clambering over the dead trees! [we added Red Pike too though]) back in April: ruclips.net/video/c905t3amTuE/видео.html
@@RockStar67 Once we’d scrambled through the undergrowth and into the forest track I realised that if we had carried on up by the stream instead of branching left onto the marked footpath we would probably have arrived on the track without the trees to contend with 😏
