People better keep these old ass cars running for 300-400K miles because these newer cars are gonna be junk in a decade. I see tons of 1990's Toyotas on the road in SF every single day. My car is a 2013 corolla with over 200K miles.

As much as it nickel-and-dimes me, I’m a white collar professional driving a ‘99 7.3 F250. I get a lot of weird looks, but I’ll take ‘em over a car I have no chance of repairing! 😂

Nick I think you are spot on. Wages vs houses vs vehicles. We gross just under 100k. Wife is retired. If we break the 100k mark we pay an additional 12% in taxes. 🤦 She has a 2011 Honda Odyssey with 130k on it. I have a 2003 Chevy 2500 HD Duramax. with 181k miles on it. Neither of them are going anywhere. Fortunately I have a take home company car. I am also looking for a GMT 800 series truck to rebuild. Cheaper to fix than to replace.
