I last wrenched out of a tiny Nissan S-body in '98. Magnetic trays had just come out,so for fun I left them up top or on the side..was constantly flagged down that I had tools about to fall off. That year primary service was 20 irrigation pivots with dt366 engines over a 60 mile spread. But have installed fence from '04-19 all with shallow single tired rigs. Never had the depth for drawers ,but... Always had most used tools/parts on driverside, even parked wrong way beside the road. Several items they all had minimum of a 5 gallon bucket of water in the bed, with a gravity hose and valve for cleaning my hands. Next was wypalls/scrubs in a bucket. Irrigation pumps were in a welded frame, and only about 10 inches off the ground. So I had a welding shop (was 20 and hadn't learned to weld back then) build a custom aluminum drain pan to hold oil. Hooked a 20 ft garden hose to a 12v marine bilge pump to pump the oil into a drum in the truck. For fencing I used it to drain ditches/entire city lots/and coredrill concrete from ponds occasionally. I still have all 3 available and use them from daily (wipes),jug of water now,and 2 bilge pumps 500gph and a 3500. A 3500 pump with a 9ahr m18 (yes I said 18 volt),will drain the battery and an IBC 330 gallon tote in 5 minutes. Amazon has small pump for $15,and 3500 for $50 if you shop warehouse returns. Pumps and wipes have only went up from $10-15,which is only 50% from inflation...... Have always envied you guys with deep bodies ,and your drawers!
I've been in 2 different 5500's set up exactly like this, that manual extension on the crane is a pain in the ass. Was this truck bought from the auction or from a equipment dealer?
Good choice. I am on truck #6, the Ram is great for the mountains in my area. When dealing with flat-landers and curves, hang back, drop a gear, once a passing section comes up apply the coals and you can sling-shot right around. The down hill is amazing with the exhaust brake and trans. You need to install some "Sumo" anti sway cushions on the drive axle, that will greatly improve the cornering going through canyon curves.
beautiful truck Cam! you deserve the success. great video as always. In other news I got the Tekamo shirt the other day and it's so comfy, fits perfectly and it matches great with my Tekamo hats. you guys are the best thank you so much for everything you do! :)
I recognize that yellow accumulator charge kit you ever work in the drill rig field I know you still currently work on some but that case looks extremely facials
Heyy, can you show a bit more of the waste oil system on the truck. Thinking of making something like that myself, but can’t find any videos on the setup of any of the trucks. Great videos keep em’ coming. Thanks from Norway
Do you like the regular cab ??? I have a love hate relationship with my reg cab , I wish dodge made an ext cab still …it’s not a junk drawer it’s the magic drawer
Cam, awesome truck. Man I am so excited when you guys put more video's out. Cam a generator mechanic for our Utility Company. Anyway, hope you like the RAM. I have a2016 f550, we have switched to all RAMS. I' m.a.little envious of the snow though. Keep.up the good work, and continuing to make me laugh.🇺🇸
Air? I ve written torque test channel and asked him to do reviews on 3/4 and up impacts. He said he doesnt have a compressor big enough. I really hate spending a ton of money and guessing what one is best. I have the composit matco and IR261 and the IR is stronger, but coworkers new Aircat beats both. I know 1 guy with the Mac but we havent faced off. The snap on is weak.
What would that air tank be used for? I’m assuming not the compressor because that’s its own unit, but idk I’m new to this service truck world, and am trying to get answers, thanks!
@@tybuza3890 air tank is for the compressor. The output of the hydraulic compressors is awesome, but to run the air tools effectively, the system needs to have a decent sized reservoir. Especially if you’re running a 1” impact for long periods of

WTF was that??? I feel gypped! Man Cam, Tyler's tour was almost 55 minutes, and he not only showed every tool he also told a story about them! Hahaha Maybe I was wrong, maybe you should wanna be like Tyler! 🤣🤣🤣 Just messin. Nice truck! Thanks for the vid. Stay safe.
I know in my service truck when I do that I either use the truck crane to unload them or the shop crane. You can buy a barrel picker that grabs the rim and picks it up straight
Hi boss I am a Heavy Equipment Mechanic. I have 16 years experience and in the beginning I take some courses related heavy equipment. Now I am working in United Arab Emirates. I want to move Canada for improving my skill and better future. Please tell me how to get a job in Canada and a way to move Canada. thank you
Above my drawers on my driver side I keep my inverter an all my batteries for my battery powered stuff. I only have like 5 inches of space between the top of my bed and the top of my drawers so not much real estate 😂
Shit I wish my truck had that many drawers…I loose SO much space over that, only got the drivers side front two with drawers, and my cabinets are about half the size 😂of
So by building a network of techs across North America is that counting United States love the channel and would love to be apart of the team I have one semester left of “schooling” but haven’t learned enough to be professional
Cams truck isn't as obese like Tylors truck I imagine Cam has more tools added to the truck since this video. A single axle 5 ton is the way to go more room to carry tools more room to work out of the truck isn't maxed to the hind t*t weight wise. Not sure if the new RAM trucks are any better the 2008 Sterling Bullet (Ram 5500) that was in the fleet I worked at truck ate brakes for breakfast. You could sure tell it was a Dodge the cab is cheaply built the way things are engineered/designed poorly.
Why didn't you pick me up in this on the last date we went on cam?! 😢
Peg you don’t want to be picked up in that shipping crate, gotta take out the mill and stuff it in an old ferd
steal the turb off her peg
My service truck now is a 91 ferd ex sheriff ambulance with 7.3idi straight piped shes a sweetheart
No back seat for struggle snuggles.
We need a peg / cam video.

Sick setup brother 😎 thats like a shop on wheels
Great video guys, you should make the next one with Cam upgrading its new truck !
Sweet truck Cam. Enjoyed the tour..
Glad you enjoyed Terry!!

Is it annoying going from extended cab to a single cab ?
Where are the gray boxes from?
I’ve been waiting for this one🎉
Surely big Carson got the ford he is the goat 🐐
My microwave is on top of the drawers on my truck.

Where does cam keep the seals?
I’ve used that 100 times in the past week, everyone hates me now… :(
No built-in romper room?
You carry larger stuff in the dog house some times, more so the 55 gallon for used oil do you pull them out full? If so how you get them out?
