I mean the ex machina Luke had pull out of nowhere to save Zillah was plain as day! And the sacrafice dude died anyway. But yes you're right. Rock and hard place. Barnaby will create chaos wherever he goes 😂

I've been watching the full playlist of this after finishing Wyrdwood, as I didn't see it when it was new. Mike doing improv around the sugar lumps made me laugh out loud!
I would argue they technically didn't kill anybody that time. The cult sent out a sacrifice and the demon killed them, which apparently happens monthly?, and would have happened whether our crew was there or not. The heat, if any, should be on them.
Not finished watching yet but they were either in the castle or were seen entering not long before the death so I imagine the guards would still want to look into them.
Both true, but in the rpg world building spirit of the concept of being wanted by the police, it seems unlikely they would be connected to anything, seeing that the spirit wardens rarely come out there for deaths anyway, and the man who died was a 95yo recluse who lived in the castle for years, and the obviously frequent deaths in this place mean that if they were seen around there, which I don't recall they really were, they were more likely intended to be killed rather than to kill. I don't think the bluecoats would ever look into them for this. And the guy Lilith struck last week was also a double of a reclusive man who still has more copies, so did he even really die? Although that did happen right in the middle of a city street. But to each his own interpretation of course.
It's important there was some serious consequence to that 4 on attacking a *demon*, for the general game to work. I'll take two heat over level 3 harm (if Zillah had been hit instead of Cyrus) or trauma (from resisting the harm with no stress left) any day!

"Industrial strength poke-around"
I demand WWLD merch!!!😆
(What Would Lilith Do?)
The Butler should have been Henry Charles Fauntleroy Stripworth Colquhoun The Third At Your Service.
Would have been so funny .
It would have probably been Henry Charles Fauntleroy Stripworth Colquhoun the Thirteenth At Your Service as it would have been an ancestor
Barnaby got that pay to win lifestyle
I wonder what the heavy thing was, that the uncle wanted to give Barnaby... It can't just be the red robe? Those can be heavy, but so heavy, that they had to bring an extra large trunk?
Since Zillah was their first choice of sacrifice, I think it was just a lie to get Barnaby to bring a sacrifice.
@@AngryAragami hm. I didn't think of that. Makes sense.
Was just an enticement for Barnaby to bring a young, strong, servant to sacrifice...the maid even said noone leaves the castle.
I suppose a large trunk would be a great place to put a body once all the blood is drained.
Can’t wait for this, a great paring! Just fyi guys in the description it says last episode was episode 3 when it was episode 4
I think that zillah has actually gained a trauma if I’m not misreading the rules 😂
She came close since her stress was 9 😂 But she did have to change into her demi-goddess form to fight a evil demi-god
@@oxfanblink4115 I think 9 is maxed out stress. You get trauma at 9 stress, if I'm not mistaken.
This was fantastic
I wonder if the mirror thing was actually planned by luke or just him adjusting and being considerate to jane?
No, I think it was foreshadowed by the mirrors being covered.
I'm an hour in and my every instinct is screaming at them to get the hell out of there
