Beatboxes originally referred to the machines that produced beats for rappers. A literal beat box. Hence, the term "human" beatbox, a human emulating it. Don't really call it that anymore these days, though.
To each; their own. Back in the day, the 90's, younger.....I was blown away, esPECIALLY by the "reversed" part, where he makes it sound like the record's being spun backwards. It's brilliant, even if he wasn't the first to do it. Just listen to that crowd's reaction, man. (i think the 240p is doing this no justice, though...)
