- In today's vlog, i stumbled on an amazing condo / apartment / hotel in Chiang Mai Thailand. I go past this place every week and never knew it was here. This place has a luxurious feel to it and has a saltwater swimming pool. It was a bit pricier rent for the bigger rooms but you get what you pay for. Situated in a quiet area, with a homely feel. I really liked this luxury place.

Only one of them is worth considering and with bs electric rates it's gonna be ~18k plus. I'd lock it in at 16k all in otherwise it's a pass. The place is empty so time to put in an offer as you can get a whole house cheaper.
Can get a house for 4000. Just depends what you want I suppose. A few subscribers have moved in to this place. It's a really nice place but I agree, could be cheaper . Cheers👍
Thanks so much for these videos. I've noticed that swimming pools in Asia rarely have a hand rail on the steps for getting in and out of the pool. I'm an old lady now LOL. I want to rent a place with a pool, and hopefully, can find one with a hand rail. 🏊♀😆

@@WalkAboutWayne Thanks! Yeah, once you notice, it's kind of funny. This big cement hole full of beautiful serene water , like an infinity pool....and now...wait...how do I get in and out? LOL. They usually have the short ladder type that hooks over the side, but those are hard to use when you're old and not really strong. Take care & thanks for the videos.

Often these youtubers try to make something more exciting than it is and it comes off as forced and unnatural. The property looks great. Has some real character compared to other apartments. I would be concerned during wet season that it is nearby or actual in an area that is prone to flooding. Very close to the river, I have seen floods in that lower Chang Klan Road and Nong Hoi area. This wouldn't be a concern for a short term rental outside of the rainy season.
It's a great place, very different. Flooding can be an issue as I well know, I live in the area and I get flooded every year.
hi Wayne, not a bad deal at all. I would consider this for a trial six months maybe twelve months contract. Do any owners take deals on longer contracts such as two-year and so on, it would be interesting to know.
I'm sure she would welcome a longer contract mate 👍
Did you hear the roosters next to the largest room? Roosters are a complete deal breaker. First, shoot 'em and cook 'em, then talk turkey about the room.
No i didn't . I got them every day near my room, doesn't bother me at all.
So hot there…do people really open up there apartments like that ? I’d have it closed with the a/c cranking all the time
This is a nice place, i really liked it. Yes, people have the doors open all day, normally farangs.

I would have done 10 for the big room. You can walk to town but it wouldn't be a walk you would want to do every day.
Love your videos mate. The wife and I are moving to Chiang Mai in spring 2023. Any chance you would know any condo or apartments that would allow a dog. We have a dog that is coming with us and would prefer not to get a house. Thanks mate.

Absolutely gem of a find Wayne, a beautiful house, although I have to say you'd have to go something special to beat those wooden houses in a previous vid for value, but on a par here for sure!

Great to see such an upmarket apartment complex at such a reasonable price. Love the tiling, furnashings and dark wood. Surprised the owner isn't renting out empty rooms to short term holiday makers seeing the peak period is almost upon us. Glad you took the time to check this place out Wayne.

Yeah it's good to see a place where they have used some hight quality materials. It's a great place. If it was slightly cheaper , I would have taken it.

Bit of luck with the impromptu video. So, glad I found you did that and I found it. those places by far the best I have seen more aesthetic appeal than the big standard. My kinda place. So bloody peaceful my kind of place - just eat out. Big room far too dark and frankly view of the gardens and pool from second floor would be great. Brilliant job my son. This area is not a place many would look. It's a right gem of a place.
Are there any 2 bed units there?
I just went on their FB page and I only saw the studio and the 1 bedroom.

One of the best vegan restaurants around the corner and Nong Hoi market isn't to far. Mainly street food around.
Nice building, and the rooms look comfortable. I'd have to go for the largest one, especially if I bring the record collection 😆
I wanted that big apartment so bad. If it was a bit cheaper, i would have taken it.

Thanks for the review mate. What a lovely place! I especially liked the wooden furniture and the balconies. The smaller room at the upper floor was the best of all in my opinion. I think the prices are just a little bit high for that part of the city but still, i think that's a great place to live for someone who can afford it.
