It is so good to see you smiling and back on your feet. I was only thinking the other day how you was. I thoroughly enjoy your videos. Keep them coming. Happy for you bud. 👍
Glad to see you back. You never seem to age and you look really well. Thanks for all your inspiring videos. You are awesome, don't let anyone tell you anything different.
Thanks for the chart @ 4:54. I've not planted an official SFG yet...though I have come close by using an earlier version of his book I bought years ago at a garage sale w/o knowing much about SFG. Hugely useful process. I used DIY Berkley hot composted soil instead along with other natural fertilizers ( wood ash etc etc). That was the best, most productive garden I have ever planted. Have since moved from that 1/4 acre location and gave away all the soil and the raised beds before moving. I so miss those raised beds. Next hope to do an official SFG. thx x2
Hi from Australia. I just subscribed after 5 videos tonight. It’s actually 12.30am. I planted my first winter crop today. Everything is an experiment. Going to take clippings from my Dahlias tomorrow. Yay can’t wait. Omg we’ve got the same name Lee...
Considering that everyone has now been ordered to stay indoors you should do a video on the best vegetables and fruits to grow indoors. It would come in handy right now.
Most fruits and vegetables are very difficult to grow indoors because they require pollination to produce the fruits. Maybe lettuces, but haven't heard much about doing it.
@@wandajuul5150 some plants can be pollinated indoors by hand, either tapping with your hand, using the vibrations from an electric toothbrush or using a soft bristled brush such as a new/clean make up brush. you also need to keep them on a south facing windowsill so they get at least 6 hours of DIRECT sunlight a day, difficult when you live in a small 1 bed flat. peppers, tomatoes n herbs can be grown and pollinated indoors, and others. window sills are very narrow, but putting a narrow table or two infront of window sill provides some extra space.
@@mooncatandberyl5372 , thank you for mentioning the vibration toothbrush method. I had read about that 6 months ago and had completely forgot about it and was ready to give up trying indoor gardening. Thank you! 😊
Oh my god. FINALLY!!!!! A clear, short, simple, and USEFUL video explaining what the heck is square gardening and what those squares mean at the back is the seeds packet. THANK YOU 🙏🏻
Thank you so much! We enjoy your videos immensely. So informative and you have such a lovely manner. Loads of love to you and Grandpa from the Garden Route in South Africa xx
Blessings man, Back once again, its the renegade MASTER!!!! LOVIN YA WORK BROTHER!!! So happy to see you again man... God loves the good un's! mate... LOL ~Peace, Love and a Fab Harvest to you~ Guru Murphinda! from the Little Farmers Farm...
Perfect timing for this video to pop up! I have two 4’x6’ beds and three 3.5’ x 6 beds now that I have a much larger gardening space. I need alllll the veggies!!!
WELCOME BACK BUDDY!! I missed your postings and worried of your health. I am glad to see you back at gardening as I love your techniques. I am doing seedlings this year and can't wait to see the progress. Take it easy... your health is most important.
Great to see you back Lee!! Wonderful to see that big smile on your face. What a lovely gift from Mel’s family. I’m doing some square foot gardening with my girls in their own beds this year, so I’ll be showing them your video. Take care and have a great week ☺️🌱
We just started watching your videos as we are planning on creating an urban garden. My kids love your videos and so do I, they are simple and inspiring! Thank you
Can u please teach me how to grow lavender and rosemary from seed? I live in Cali, we have been having 40-50 deg nights and 70+ days, hardly/no rain at all. I have been trying for 2 years and nothing comes up. I don’t use heat pads or grow lights. I grow them outdoors. Thank you and more power and hope to you from the bottom of my heart ♥️
We've had the complete opposite! I'm just finishing up older videos but as soon as I can start growing this year I'll try to do Lavender and rosemary for you. :)
Is great to see you back, had some mental health issues myself so can't imagine ontop of that what you're going through with all your horrible medical physical problems, take care! Yeah rather its more about the disability stuff I watch but also like seeing of course people doing things they like doing its amazing keep going!
I cut various food grade plastic bottles into tubes and place them into my square foot and plant inside these. I only water inside these "grow tubes" and it helps with plants that require various watering amounts. It also helps with the spacing.
I have a question and need your help. I have been growing an avacado sapling since last summer I have one that has two leaves but they are droopy any suggestions?
Hey there. I love your videos and I'm really happy that you are back on your feet again! Where did you get the graphics that you show at 4:54 and 6:53? Thank you in advance!
Careful over there you two. Take care of your Da and focus on your gardening... Might even offer to do some gardening for neighbors if there are people around you who are struggling.
omgggg i literally screamed holy shit when i saw the little dot by your name, i'm so fucking thrilled you're feeling well enough to come back!!!!!!!!!! we love you!!!!!!!!!!!
Waaahhhhhaaaaayyyyyyyyy, welcome back. Please don't leave me for that long again hahahaha. But I understand life takes over. Remember to keep smiling my friend
LOVE square foot gardening! Mel and family are the best. SFG has inspired many people in my community to start gardening for the first time. One of my friends even packed up and moved their garden when they sold their home! (Garden not included in the sale of this home) Lol!!.
