thank you for your tutorials. My daughter asked me to help out in cutting costs for her bridal shower and to make some cookies.... I am more experienced in cupcake decorating so that request made me very anxious. After watching your tutorials I feel more confident that I can do it ahead of time and not stress out that I will be rushed. Thank you again!
I’m a new baker and so grateful for your videos for guidance and advice! Can I ask, how thick are your cookies? I can’t get the exact thickness I want.
Thank you once again for a great video! I totally agree that freezing improves cookies 1. You said you lay them out on a cookie sheet when defrosting - I've always heard to keep them all in a container - I personally lay them out on the counter when defrosting in heat sealed bag but haven't done that with undecorated cookies - I love that you say we can do that too. 2. What airbrush do you use? 3. LOVE the packaging in a pack of six!! 4. Adorable cookies!!
Thank you so much for this helpful video. I do have one question. When you wrap the undecorated cookies in the cling wrap and store them in the freezer, do you also store those in a seal tight container? I've just been using a 2 gallon ziplock bag.
Hi! Thank you for such a great video!! Very helpful. I love freezing them in 6 count great to grab and decorate. Love having some always handy.. How long do you let your frosted cookies set before bagging?
If you don’t have a heat sealer or baggies, would you still be able to freeze decorated cookies? I’m just a hobby baker so I don’t have either 😅 but I have disabilities that make cookie decorating difficult some days so I’d love to use my good moments when I have the ability to stock up if possible! 😝
Same here! Question and Response much appreciated. I only have use of 1 hand…still recovering from major hand surgery and it’s painful. And the other hand isn’t too good… constant pain. Creating pretty edible desserts makes everything better…especially when you can do in steps instead of all at once. This is a great tutorial for seniors that struggle with pain in their hands due to arthritis or bone marrow cancer… I am not sure if I can mead the RBC and hoping to drag my husband into this 😂 “Hey Dear, I need you to mead some dough…it’ll be fun…just like playing with play dough!”😂
Thank you for this video, I’ve been wondering about freezing decorated cookies! If you lay the decorated cookies on a sheet pan, do you unwrap them first to thaw or leave them in their wrapping? I am worried the condensation might affect the colors on the cookie - but I haven’t done it before. Thanks again!
How quickly do you get your cookies baked, decorated and in bags? I feel like I’m racing the clock to get them packaged so they stay as fresh as possible. Also are all heat seal bags created equal? Is there a brand or thickness that is best? I just don’t think the bags I’m using keep my cookies as fresh as I want.

Ty for doing this video was wondering if you use a self sealing cookie wrapper and your defrosting a edible printed cookie is it better to take cookie out of wrapper to defrost on a cookie sheet?
I use an impulse heat sealer to package each decorated cookie before freezing. I leave them in the package to thaw. But laying them out on a sheet will thaw them faster.
Ty Im a lil nervous doing that last time my wrappers had tiny bubbles of moisture inside. I use edible ink on the cookies so Im wondering if water droplets would ruin the print. Gonna test it out when its not a customer order 😊
Thank you so much for this information. I don’t have a hear sealer. Would it be ok to put them individually in cellophane bags tied with a string and then freeze them?

Great video. I've been wondering about freezing airbrushed cookies. I have heard yes and no. Is there a special trick to freeze airbrushed cookies?...yes I heat seal and Is there a special way to thaw airbrushed cookies? Thank you.
Ty for sharing this great info! I have a question please……when freezing airbrushed cookies, I’m always worried that when thawing them in or out of the container, the condensation is going to wreck my airbrushing. What do you think??
@@pamkennedybakes3649 ahhhh yes! I was always afraid there would be some sort of condensation inside the cookie bag to ruin the icing sheet when I thawed them in the counter with it being summer. So happy to know it will work! Have to prep for this coming week! Thank you.

I roll my cookies to 5/16" and only bake about 11 mins until the tops are dry

Zip locks definitely work as well but not as long.....if storing for a month or so I would switch
Would self sticking sealed bags work too? I haven’t purchased a heat sealer yet. Thank you for all your help and for this wonderful page!
Yes it does!

When freezing plain undecorated sugar cookies grouped in six, shingle style or lay flat? Thanks for sharing your experience and knowledge.
Either. Undecorated it doesn't matter

I just heat-seal in treat bags from Amazon. You can keep them fresh by freezing or an additional air tight container
Hi Pam, great info! Just curious, what is that container you’re using? It looks like the lid has a silicone seal.
Yes, it does!!!!!!
