The Ravens have improved on the design of the 2019 team. Offense is more balanced, defense has depth and health. The attitude of the team is more focused on hungry. This is a Super Bowl contender in Baltimore.

Throw of the year at 5:30. What Lamar does in the pocket is insane! He drops back southpaw and confuses the hell out of the defense, allowing Flowers to get 30 yards downfield untouched. Insane. His pocket play is extremely underrated in general.

Lamar Jackson throws the most beautiful passes. It’s his throwing motion and the gentle arc of the ball just seem so soft and accurate at the same time… hard to explain, but they just look great. He’s really improved his throwing motion and decision making.

Admit as a neutral British fan the other side of the pond definitely look SB contenders to me. Not seen too much of them this season until recently but a great all round team and Jackson on fire. Good to see someone up there instead of the usual contenders. Supported them in 2013 SB win so will go with them again no question.
Going into this season many people thought Lamar wasn't even a capable passer, let alone good enough to win a SB. If after this season he's a 2x MVP and 1x SB champion this might be the biggest turnaround for a QB in terms of changing his narrative and shutting everyone up, ever.

The level of dominance the Ravens showed in this game was amazing to see. Lamar wrapped up the MVP race with today’s performance and Zay Flowers continues to prove himself. He is a stud! I really hope they go all the way this year! They’re the most complete team all around.

Can they keep it up though? All the other good teams have had head scratching, befuddling losses where no one saw it coming. Can the Ravens stand apart in that regard, or will they go down that path other dominant teams did this year? Time will tell. And we just crumble again. In EVERY way shape or form. Coaching mostly. Then the players with no composure, and also I hate to say it but the refs really screwed us bad on at least 2 call that should have had the ball on the one. This one hurts the most because Lamar is in his prime and it isn’t gonna get any easier. I hope he learns a balance, this year I felt like he stayed back there too long sometimes. But like I’m the halftime of the Houston game he said screw that and ran two in. He has to learn when things are going as planned rely on your god given ability.

It’s not just the defense it’s the coaching and coordinators as well.
Flowers is definitely the surprise of the season. Solid routes, speed, good hands and finally a raven wide out with serious yac ability. Smith is the best mid-season acquisition in NFL history making a huge impact day #1. Lamar is the fastest, best pure athlete in all of sports. Protecting the ball this year very well. Better field management and the teammates absolutely love this guy. Can't put that in a Stat line but worth it's weight in gold. Tucker, good solid o line and other special teams play,....its just emotional management at this point to the superbowl.

He was solid in 2020 but then 2021 he was below average and before he was injured last year his stats as a passer were good not great. This year however compared to how everyone else is doing he’s been elite and will win his second MVP. But he’ll either get injured next year or he won’t be as good and that’s why people are so frustrated by him. Because he’s elite a certain year and then the next he’s either not as good or he tears his ACL or his Achilles or his shoulder or fractures his ankle or his foot or his hand. That’s always been Lamar’s issue so sure he’ll win MVP this year but we’re still looking for him to play MVP football 2 years in a row and in the playoffs
@adrianfigueredo278 the only issue is he played like Kobe, going all out all the time. He got hurt the last 2 years (both seasons ravens were 8-4 and leading their division) because he was playing hero ball on every play, you could tell that the confidence in throwing to anyone besides andrews was starting to build in the first few games of the season. Honestly Andrews going out forced him to start looking to everyone else. Lamar was trying to make a play every single time and that's what got him hurt brotha. Todd Monken has been a god send because he structured the offense around lamars pocket presence and ability to extend the play

@Rod904 yeah... most teams don't win when the quarterback that's practiced with the first teamers all off-season goes down. Also, he had 16 tds to 13 interceptions in 2021, which is abysmal, and he had 186 yards per game last year. I'd say he's not the reason for their success.
Flowers would literally keep Boston college in games, even if they loss. Flowers was a helluva pick for the ravens bc many did not know anything about him

Ravens don't have the flashiness of San Francisco with the Deebo's, C Mac's, Aiyuk's, Kittle etc... but they're exceptionally very effective on both sides of the ball. At any given time anyone can make a play that makes a difference and that is what makes them a scary proposition as the 49ers and Dolphins have found out. Those blow outs are no fluke. Ravens are the real deal.
Lamar Jackson is locked in. This is his year to make it to a superbowl! Even with losing our entire secondary on defense, the bench players did a great job today.

Honestly at least this time with all the injuries the effective two bye weeks should have some use in getting our guys healthy. I always worry after 2019 about coming out and being "rusty".
Well yeah the team is more locked in, the defense is better, the pass catchers are better, and the scheme is better. It's for sure a better team.

As a Dolphins fan I thought to myself this might not be pretty, and it wasn't, but didn't think it would be this bad. I think they extra losses in due to injury are the bigger issue. But , big props up to the Ravens for taking us down and throttling us. Two super impressive wins in a row in the last two week and you guys are top notch in the AFC and clearly SB frontrunners. As a Dolphins fan, this feels all too familiar territory unfortunately as I know the Bills are on the horizon and we aren't really playing very good. If we lost this bad, maybe we have zero chance now,. I know we are in the playoffs but clearly we aren't play best football. If it comes down to Raven and whoever from NFC in the SB, I hope you guys can win.
Also, if we lose next week, we get the Chiefs at Arrowhead. The Chiefs are a shell of themselves this year.
