These dirty jobs which Kindiki is expected to do paint the ugly picture of my former boss who was also a distant relative. When I was brought to his office as a new employee I thought that my work was strictly within the confines of what my job description dictated but along with that I was supposed to be a spy and report back on some employees whom he expected were stealing from him. He employed these crooks himself and wasn't willing to fire them despite all the pressure from clients and other relatives. I was the one who was expected to set these people straight with my hawk eye yet these were seasoned thieves who were much older, experienced and definitely no match for me. I in the process earned enemies at the workplace and everyone was avoiding me like a plague while Boss continued chiding me for not measuring up to the job. Poor Kindiki is on for an ordeal of his life if these extra tasks are in his in-tray.
Kindiki is being ordered around by junior people close to Ruto. He is being told to go to church far away from central Kenya to look different from Gachagua.
