Good throne. I sit on mine every day for an hour or 2. My base is different. It's like the base of a snare or cymbal stand.
Yes- I prefer this one. It takes up a little more space, but seems untiltible.

A Roc-n-Soc with a backrest (your posture is worth it) was the wisest purchase I made since getting a two-legged hi-hat stand.
I might score a backrest.. I always thought it was so neat when Stewart Copeland always played in that accountant chair with the rest.

So convenient. I use a pearl Roadster which you have to swivel to adjust the height. It's a whole to do just to set the height.
Yes- I've had it with the screw height adjusted ones. These are neat, but I hope the hydraulics hold up!
