ADF | Operation Render Safe 2024

At the request of the Government of Nauru, the Australian Defence Force and
partner nations deployed a team of specialist personnel to Nauru in May 2024 to safely dispose of Explosive Remnants of War (ERW) under Operation RENDER SAFE.
This iteration of Operation RENDER SAFE included Explosive Ordinance Disposal technicians from the Australian Army, United States Army, United States Marine Corps, New Zealand Defence Force, Royal Canadian Navy and French Armed Forces of New Caledonia.
Op Render Safe is the Australian Defence Force-led operation to reduce the hazard of explosive remnants of the Second World War from Pacific Island nations.
