I miss the days of walking up and down those streets during my lunch breaks and before and after work. Sometimes on my days that I would go pick up my check, yes I'm that old hahah😂😂😂. I would walk around those neighborhoods and businesses for hours. I never crossed the Brooklyn Bridge though in all my years on foot. Anyway, it's always a blast to just sit infront of the big screen and imagine as if im on the bike. I also love all the sounds of traffic and people talking and footsteps when you are in populated areas. I miss the smells of the city also. Oh my if you could bottle that up and sell it😅😅.

Having been over the Brooklyn bridge once on a normal bicycle, I can only praise your choice of an electric vehicle to cross it. It is quite high.
I had only been on in 2014 before the dedicated bike lane and it was hell.

Great video, AK. Good to see the city on a nice pleasant sunny day. To think in the 70s I was taking my Sims Flying Wedge skateboard all over Manhattan, no batteries, pure leg power. Your timing in traffic is very good, you'll live longer that way. lol. Love that Segway scooter, definitely going to get one at some point.

I think pedestrians should go first when crossing the street in areas with no traffic lights or crossings. Some streets around 50 minutes have no crossings, so people have to walk another block to cross.
This is my vote for more scooter videos. Are you using the Pocket 3 on a chest mount? Considering what you're doing, the video and audio are both great.

There was a lot of Construction 🚧👷 in Brooklyn and Queens during this commute.
Also, a lot of people riding personal transportation 🛴🚴 on the bike lanes today, some speeders some not looking.
I would've made the same kind of comments as you with the other riders!😅 Two people riding on the same scooter is so Human to do lol, I remember also seeing that on your 2021 and 2022 streams too!

I live in London and work in the centre near Oxford Circus. Cycling in to work is similar to Mid Town in terms of tourists just stepping out in to traffic without looking. I have a repertoire of different things I might say to them depending on how stupid they are being 😆
They have lots of bike infrastructure there in mid town though! More than we have in London. We definitely have lots but manhattan looks really good in terms of safety. In our city centre roads are more narrow so it makes sense they can't easily just add a cycle lane. Someplaces have it but it doesn't look as well built out as your route. It could be because London has a pretty strong right wing/pro car voter base in the city centre, Westminster council is known for blocking bike friendly development around oxford circus which makes absolutely no sense. Tourists don't have cars and you can get more locals in with Bikes than cars. But it's old rich people... They aren't smart.
