Hallo chisty you are doing great with the vintrac!and tim your work on these bushes looking good to ,specially the grapple is an outstanding pice of equippment,so to speak every property owner need one.have a nice week over there.
Hi Christi &Tim, For grading the hill like you did, I don't think that is any other tool that could have done as nice a job as the Ventrac with the power rake. A 3 point box blade, while it might work, never would have been able to fine finish it. Looks awesome!
For those that give criticism about wrong tools being used I'll share some words my grandfather taught me 40+ years ago. "Sometimes the right tool is simply the one you have at hand, not the perfect tool 50 miles away." 🤠
Hello Tim! Consider adding a manual thumb for that 2series. Lol I just recently upgraded to a 3038 with the backhoe and manual thumb. I love it!! Thanks for another adventure and job well done.
I have a pair of ISO tunes pros and really like them. You mentioned that the new ones have a different dec. rating. I think the only thing that I struggle with is the fact that they work to well. I find it extremely hard to hear anyone around me unless I remove a earbud. Also if I use them in my shop it’s hard to here the sound of a tool to tell how it’s laboring. With that said I would like more volume for my iPhone radio. I do love that I’ve used them for over eight hours at a time and never ran out of power. They’re also extremely comfortable. I’d Love to try out the new pair you just demonstrated to see how they work out. Keep the great videos coming and God Bless.
Looks great. For me not having Vinnie or Johnny with a backhoe. I'd probably use my boxscraper and loader and/or the TR3 rake to RIP and level as needed. Result looks spectacular.
Yup......moving a backhoe without turning is better in nuetral....... also for side to side moving raise the outrigger a bit on the side oposit you want to slide to.......it helps alot. Ive made about 5mi of 10ft wide driveway with a 410 backhoe. It wasnt as fast as an escavator that ive done roadwork with in a 320 cat but i made due... ...and they are still using the driveway and no issues
Who needs a road grader when you have a vinny 😉 You can help the grass grow by sprinkling fine cut straw over it, it helps stop river ruts forming in a downpour and insulates the surface against frost till the new grass takes hold. Looks like good soil so it should come back quick and may no be worth it.

Good call on not bringing too much equipment. There’s hardly a job that a standard loader and backhoe can’t accomplish. Yeah, more toys can make the job easier, but a standard machine will get it done. For example, lay out a long ratchet strap and pile the brush on it, then run one end around that back side of the bucket and ratchet it tight...walla poor or cheap mans grapple. Ha
I would think that if your going to do maximum curling force on something that doesn't want to budge, I'd think you would want the tires on the ground, those stabilizers are really moving around and that seems like it will eventually damage the outriggers as they are not meant to see loads in that direction.
Do you have a safety disconnected? How can you not have your tractor in neutral when operating the backhoe? Wouldnt it shut off if your not in the driver seat in gear?
Did you try to use the grapple to rip out those bushes? I have found that coming under the roots with the root rake and pushing forward while cycling the curl does a fantastic job of pulling the bushes out by the roots while rolling and compacting at the same time.
@@TractorTimewithTim So you can leave the tractor in low gear with it running without being on the seat? My 2320 would shut off the engine under those circumstances.
