Trekking LAKE O'HARA Alpine Circuit with kids!

Returning to Lake O'Hara in British Columbia's Yoho National Park, Canada. Starting pre dawn at the Lake O'Hara Shuttle Bus Stop and hiking in 11km-7 miles on the Lake O'Hara Road. We then continued our trek on the spectacular Alpine Circuit, climbing to Wiwaxy Gap and on toward Lake Oesa, the Yukness Ledges and Opabin Lake before returning to incredible Lake O'Hara! The Lake O'Hara area is a very special place for us and has given us many memorable experiences over the past 25 years. Not only giving us the opportunity to walk the trails through this amazing landscape, but also provided the backdrop of our small wedding in 2006 and then granting the inspiration for the middle name of our oldest daughter Nyla! We consider Lake O'Hara to be one of the most beautiful places we have ever been. Hiking the trails, or even just being in the presence of Lake O'Hara, never fails to offer a peaceful alpine calm and brings a smile to our faces!! Its very protected environment will hopefully remain this way for decades into the future and we cannot wait until our return to this "Gem of the Canadian Rockies"!
