Rush was only seen as potentially satanic because of the pentagram they used on an early album called 2112. Their pentagram had one point on top rather than two pointing up like goat horns. Remember, Christians say we are Satanists because we have pentagrams on the Nauvoo temple and inverted stars on the Salt Lake Temple. The pentagram with Rush represented an oppressive government entity that took away artistic freedoms of the people in the story of a futuristic story based in the year 2112. I did some research on religious symbols and the pentagrams, like the cross, has a historical sacred nature. Even the upside down cross that the Catholic Church has been called out on represents the crucifixion Peter. Tony Iomi of Black Sabbath uses cross inlays in his custom Gibson SG guitar, does that make him a proper Christian? The book Demonic Foes is insightful for saints, very solid work on exorcism/possession and not full of itself nor too long for the topic. People with possession problems are pretty much exclusively people who have made promises/deals/covenants/oaths with evil spirits/Satan it seems. Lords of the Left Hand Path is full of lies and should not be read by saints but it blatantly reveals the societies that sought to ascend without Jesus Christ. They all crashed and burned. There is no ascension/transcendence to anywhere positive without Christ right there between you and the Most High God on the His covenant path.
There are also family curses that can affect people from descendants. I think correcting such demonic covenants is another reason for family history work.
I like listening to Dan about different outside mainstream topics. Something interesting about Crowley is that he apparently happened to be a big fan of Joseph Smith because he saw him as a fellow renegade and rebel and wrote a novel that included a scene in which a Lamanite angel appeared to Smith. Weird stuff.
There were a couple of misconceptions in Satanic philosophy during this episode. There is a second part to the law of Thelema, the full law should be read as “Do what thou wilt shall be the whole of the law, love is the law - love under will”. Also, followers of Thelema are not always satanists. There is a difference between satanism and Thelema though they have many similarities. As an exmormon and a satanist I’d be happy to answer questions if anyone has some.
@L Well it’s certainly both of the things you said. They kind of did hit this on the head in the podcast though that we use the name and the figure of Satan (who we don’t believe in) as a metaphor for independence, resistance and knowledge. There’s a certain element of humor involved in it though and most satanists were at one point ostracized from Christian religions, we were made to feel bad and evil, so there’s also an element of claiming that and playing the part of the opposition to the groups that hurt us.
Self-worship is the primrose path to Babylon. But once you're in you get locked into groupthink. Gary Oldman nailed it group think is the end result of self worship.
Oh my goodness, I remember being a kid in the 80's and my parents actually played a record( I think it was a Beatles album) backwards but we didn't hear anything weird so we kept listening to our records.. Also, the first casette tape (lol) I bought myself at 16 was Led Zepellin Stairway to Heaven -how did I survive with my faith intact?? But seriously though, It is bad if they really used the quote from Crowley.
The Beatle album that had a song every one played backward wasnt about satan but about a conspiracy about Paul McCarrtney. Then there was one song that was was recorded ba⅓ckwards. That one no one ever heard anything. As far as satanism a house 3 doors down from me is rumored to have statistic symbols painted on the basement floor. The mother at least was a member but wasnt active (now deceased) It was her daughters that became satanists and they still live there. Everyone even non members refer to it as the witches house. Even kids wont go there on Halloween. Satanism is real. It isnt just famous people.
Cardon gets it with respect to the difference of ideology from the right vs the left. It is just a no brainer and surprised a debate even exists. Yes, all people of every party has their weaknesses. However, faintly clear what supports the Gospel with respect to the big objectives from the political stances.
13:20 that was basically my childhood. The premise of the movie “Footloose” was real life man. We had a lot of lessons and sermons in church about Satanic music back in the day, also the evils of D&D.
This year marks my 40th anniversary playing Dungeons and Dragons. When I was a teen, several parents in our branch (and other wards in the stake) bought into the Evangelical kool-aid, and drank deeply. The second councilor in our Stake Presidency was (in a weird way) semi related to me as one of his daughters married one of my uncles (they later divorced). As one of the ones being ostracized and bearing a lot of the blunt of that D&D Kool-aid, I developed a plan, and talked to a few of my friends in the stake about implementing it. So we approached him one time (being prepared before hand right? Cause if ye are prepared ye shall not fear) at a Fab Friday (general activity night) with a pregenerated 1 shot, and our concerns that what was being said about D&D were inaccurate. We then offered to both walk him through a character creation session, the 1-shot adventure, and answer any questions he had about the game. After that? He sent a message out to the bishops and branch presidents of the stake, letting them know that if their kids played D&D, to just let them, and if they had any concerns or questions, to contact him, and he would answer thier questions. We never had any problems in our stake about D&D after that point.
The first CD I owned was the self-titled black sabbath album. On a road trip to California my dad asked what I was listening to in my Walkman. When I told him what it was he asked to see it, and then proceeded to throw it out of the fucking window. I know he meant well but it only cemented my rebellious nature, and pushed me further into metal and punk and the lifestyle that follows.

It was an interesting listening, Mormons do have a naive child like quality in their understanding of the world. Knowledge is Power! This is why I am an atheist, I have the gift of studying all religions without a bias. No belief or fear in God and Satan allows you to know things you couldn’t know while being it. The knowledge presented in this podcast is novice when it comes to knowing anything about Satanic religious sects. From this video they don’t even know the main differences between the largest two - The Church of Satan and The Satanic Temple. The information presented and research comes from a place of fear, and would appeal to a more naive individual.
The arrogance of “atheists” never ceases to amaze me. It’s almost funny how much self-awareness has to be lacking to say “I have the gift of studying X without bias” and “no belief or fear” allows me “know things” I couldn’t while being X, Y, or Z. I mean… don’t you see how you simultaneously broadcast your misunderstanding of religion while placing yourself on an intellectual pedestal that has a VERY shaky foundation?

I think music is extremely manipulative. Look how popular Whitney Houston's song was, "Greatest Love of All." What is the ultimate message in that song? The greatest love of all is to love yourself, not to love God, not to love others, but to love yourself. How do we truly find ourselves? By loving others, not by loving ourselves. Ultimately, by serving others, we become someone whom we can love, indeed. But that's not the message of the song. It was what was used for the processional at my daughter's kindergarten graduation in the mid1980s, at a Montessori school. Crazy!
What about the "Sex Magick?" Also, Aleister Crowley was also on the Beatles either White album or Yellow Submarine - it was while in India dropping a lot of LSD & stuff

MTG did say “return to Anglo Saxon roots” & I get why Kwaku would have an issue with that, a black guy probably doesn’t want to hear that. I didn’t listen to the speech so I don’t know what the context was, I just heard a clip of it. I think it was said in replace of “white” although, I don’t even know if it makes sense Anglo is just English & America had tons of different European cultures blended into it.
One of the things that is interesting is, religious dialogue was very popular in music up to the year 2000, but after the music completely turned away from religious dialogue. This happened because nothing happened in the year 2000.
Triggered by hearing the term Anglo Saxon! Your adopting the langue and rules of the left. America owes it’s Anglo Saxon colonizers, England much gratitude. Much of the privilege you enjoy now living in America, are legal and other systems come from the mother land, also the founding fathers of this country had Anglo roots. Just like many of the advances of England was do to the colonization of Rome. Read Thomas Sowel. Everything the left claims the right is doing or has done generally is what they themselves are guilty of, so please don’t talk about right wanting to control, that’s a leftist value always has been, conservatives want small government and to be left the hell alone. Fun show great job!
Aleister Crowley also tried to take over the largest Rosicrucian organization in the world based in San Jose, called the "Rosicrucian Order, AMORC" H. Spencer Lewis, the founder of AMORC, found out what Crowley was trying to do, and banned him. That's a whole story in itself. AMORC is the largest Rosicrucian Order, with an estimated 150,000 - 200,000 members. It's pretty much boiled itself down to a modern day self help organization. Members can attend Lodges, or set up home altars called "sanctums" where the necessary rituals are performed as you progress through the degrees.

Weird stuff.
wait... WHAT? do tell!
Brad’s fedora comment had me rolling
Self-worship is the primrose path to Babylon. But once you're in you get locked into groupthink. Gary Oldman nailed it group think is the end result of self worship.
That which we surround ourselves with, is the spirits that will be closest to us. Twilight is of the devil
@@janetcarlson4923 Yes it is real. The witch house sounds awful. Stay safe.
"You sold your eternal soul to the devil?"
"Well I wasn't usin it!"
Now this is my kinda deep talk!! 💯
You guys have a good show…
But, you bring on guests…and NEVER let them get a word in …
Kwaku is 100% correct about all this! So is Dan! The 27 Club is REAL!!!!
Lex's book is called pop music and morality in the 80s
The 27 Club are all dead rockers: Brian Jones, Janis Joplin, Jimi Hendrix, and others who were all very successful and died at the age of 27.
Good for dad. Sin's not on him now.
@@mattctr oh no sir, don't get it twisted. I am not blaming him for my actions, but he definitely could have done that in a more productive way. Maybe instead of trying to remove it from my life, try to introduce better music.
@@MichaelGMoney my first concert was Black Sabbath and Godsmack. Took years to realize why my friends couldn’t go hahahaha I never thought about the names meaning at that time
It was an interesting listening, Mormons do have a naive child like quality in their understanding of the world.
@@WARDRADIO Let's test your claim. Do you believe your information and reaction presented in this video was that of an Expert, Intermediate or Novis learner on the various satanic beliefs, religions, and view points? Do you believe you looked at the information as creepy and scary based off your reaction, or were you non-emotional?
Can you answer these questions without getting emotional, going on the attack or getting off point? Let's see - balls in your court.
Love thy neighbor as thou lovest thyself. If Satan can get you to hate yourself you naturally will hate your neighbor. 🤯 41:23
Crazy!
"Ironic for Michael Ballam to be doing this" 🤣🤣🤣
Jay-Z, the beatles and many more all in on alleister crowley
What about the "Sex Magick?" Also, Aleister Crowley was also on the Beatles either White album or Yellow Submarine - it was while in India dropping a lot of LSD & stuff
Michael Knowles just discussed this on his podcast yesterday! Warnings from a former Astrologist who found God. She talks about all of these things. Especially the self worship.
Finally talking about Crowley! Been hoping you’d get there some day.
These types of things are not new. It started when Cain killed Abel.
Earlier then that. The first sin/transgression.
So is the phrase "you do you" satanic?
Isn't the Thomas B. Marsh story about the milk strippings a warning about not being selfish and into yourself?
Jimmy pages house is on the shore of Loc Nes
Out of Shadow documentary
Robert Johnson is the first known in the 27 club
What exactly is wrong with someone saying that a country founded by Anglo-Saxons should return to its roots?
It's going to grow because it's secular humanism.
Love the show. One suggestion is to keep putting it up in podcast form.
Aleister Crowley also tried to take over the largest Rosicrucian organization in the world based in San Jose, called the "Rosicrucian Order, AMORC"
10/10 video. I hate being schizo about listening to the Beatles and playing DnD tho 😅
Check out this album. The crazy world of Arthur Brown.
I can give you deeper details on led Zeppelin and many other groups including the original Robert Johnson who is the biggest influence on led Zeppelin and many other great guitarists and how he sold his soul at the crossroads in Mississippi.
I think the perfect way to cap off this conversation would have been a discussion about the goodness of the Truth. Jesus Christ has conquered death and hell, and following in his footsteps and accepting him as our master and advocate with the Father is the way to go :)
What’s your take on Wilford woodruff being reportedly at Bohemian groves?
reportedly he was also poisoned and killed by the very same.
Hey every time he starts to tell his story. And you go off in another direction. And it is hard to follow along with what he is trying to tell you add confusion to the message. If you could hold your comments and let him finish
Pretty sure I’ve seen a photo of Jay Z wearing a “do what thou wilt” hoodie. That plus the fact that he makes the 🔺sign with his hands in music videos... not good 🫣
How bout letting the guest speak🤯
Try to figure out the meaning of the words to the song "Stairway to Heaven". McCarthy was right about Communism. Lynn Bryson from the group "The Sons of Mosiah" with Al Cherry, use to give firesides on satanic music and can still be viewed on RUclips. Al Cherry was the Kwaku El of the 1970's in the church.
You know your man, Lex de Azevedo, Julie Hanks' father, treated his faithful wife deplorably.
Had a buddy that is a satanic minister and he said that they use Satan to serve them so ya self worship… he was very nice guy tho just hung from hooks and all that jazz 😂
How about Anton LaVey?
How does the right want control?
More stuff like this
Would you please stop interrupting the speaker. Then you say I am sorry keep going.
I like your show But I sometimes I feel like you don’t take things seriously.
This is a good informative topic that instead of making dumb comments .
You better listen more to the guy you’re interviewing and be professional and serious like he is.
I remember having my mom listen to Stairway to Heaven backwards. She wasn’t very happy about it.
Of course I did.
How does all this relate to Club 33 in Disneyland? 😁😁😁

TST is atheistic and you should read their seven tenets. Vastly surperior to moral systems found in the Bible or Mormonism.
Well, but we have a basis for our faith....
@@WARDRADIO okay and I have a basis for my secular morality valuing altruism and universal human well-being.

You even talk against the apostles
Who is a dog.
It’s funny to joke about it and it’s important to recognize this evil in society and the church but don’t deep dive into these things, knowing things is important but you can invite an adversarial spirit into our lives which is obviously not good.

They shouldn't
So I just read an article that lists 15 musician who died at 27 years of age.
