Bounty Killa is a musical mentor. He's taken so many artists under his wings.
*DAVE KELLY* single-handedly had dancehall in a chokehold thru the whole 90's decade. Other producers do a thing here & there but it was unmatched to Kelly's work
Facts! We need a Dave Kelly documentary asap
@marvinwright7656
Mi second dat...but the documentary wouldn't include his identity 😂
Yeah.. during a time in which Fat Eyes, Colin Fatta, Shocking Vibes, John John, Studio 2000, Taxi, Main Street were dropping serious Heat in the streets also.
@goodmanfilife
Agreed...but he surpassed them all.
@@goodmanfilifedammm I memba all dem producers
Big up Cham and Bounty....am glad you guys buried the hatchet and building back the brotherly love ❤ one up...
Old people says teeth & tongue must clash one day!! I've been close to both men and throughput I've never heard either disrespect the other. They are two great individuals with an Abundance of potential
Big Up Rodney Price, Baby Cham, Dave Kelly,Wayne Wonder. Love this
I love the chemistry of Cham an Bounty killer. Yes Cham take him away from all the distraction an let him focus on music.
He doesn't need all them Unnecessary an negative attention right now from no 1. It's not doing him any good.
Loving this video an the album bad.....
Keep putting in the good work you two along with Dave Kelly. Three genius 👏 🙌
The first time I heard "Another level" until now, my head swell.
So much love and respect to Bounty killer and Baby Cham…….. dancehall in the 90’s and early 2000’s and such a great impact and influence in🇹🇹🇹🇹….. we easily listen to more dancehall/reggae/conscious music than any other genre in Trini…….. this doc brought back many memories…… The poor people’s governor, Rodney Price deserves all the recognition and praise for being an icon for over 3 decades. Manners and respect frm 🇹🇹🇹🇹love in the house
Bounty is the emperor of dancehall no one can take that from him

Another level would’ve definitely put shabba back on the map but it would’ve never been as good as the bounty/Cham collab 🔥🔥🔥 salute to black Caribbean icons, Good vibes and black unity 🙏🏾 salute Dave Kelly the boss 😮💨👌🏾
We need a longer documentary for real. Big up these three legendary act.
It'll be a much longer documentary if the core focus was on Dave. Then, a lot more artists would have to be included.
Big up killa n cham love the positive energy wayne wonder dexta nad respect crazy vocals as always and last but definitely not the least the man the myth the legend Dave kelly sir kelly you are what i would call E.T. extraterrestrial your the reason we love the 90's thanks for doing it again in this era we needed back your sound...mad love mad respect mad house
Man, I am by no means interested in dancehall anymore but this colab brings back wonderful memories of my high school days. I can’t wait to see the product.
Very interesting comment.
Do you think Dancehall is beyond rehabilitating? Or that it's not even worth it?
@@NellenelleForSure everything is a cycle. It will come back around to making sense, I hope sooner rather than later.
@@tilted_notbroken950 You know how there's artists like Bruno Mars that go retro? That's the only way Dancehall can come back.
Bruno introduced a whole generation to funk, jazz, and soul music. Jazz will never be mainstream again, but there are ppl still making it. I think that's what's going to happen to Dancehall. Same as those epic 90s RnB ballads. It's sad to think I lived long enough for Dancehall to expire. Or rather that Dancehall deteriorated so fast considering I'm not old, but I remember when Wayne Wonder, TOK, and Mr
Vegas ran the place. And they are distinctly Dancehall artistes, not roots or reggae.
There was a time when Dancehall wasn't strictly slackness. Now Vegas is a gossiping ninny that can't stop ranting online and pandering to foreigners, while TOK refuses to perform the best of their catalog 😅. By the time Dancehall's good season rolls back around I'll probably be a senior citizen and still drawing fi di 90s music over everything else.
@@NellenelleForSure lol so very true
@@tilted_notbroken950 😄Bless up 💚

Dave Kelly was the Dr. Dre of Dancehall. Every production came with a lot of fanfare. Everybody in the crew had HITS. The guy was dominant for nearly a decade straight ('92 - '00).
