Just ordered one of these today. Thanks so much for the review. I was sweating the 36mm size pretty hard. But I’m 5’10’’ and 185. Judging by how it looks on your wrist it should look great. Thanks for posting!
Great Video. I have been looking for Prince Day-Date for some time, and discovering they are still made for the Asia market made my day, so will be ordering one. Just for your viewers, new, they come with a 5 year Int. Tudor Warranty.
just ordered mine for unborn princess, a Date+Day Prince ❤️. amazing overview, TY ALTA. Compared to DJ36, this is same oyster case. what are your thought's on the build quality ? replica of the 60's Date=Day but with tad' better bracelet ?
Great video and great watch! I have a similar Tudor Date Day Watch with the mosaic white dial. Acquired it in Hong Kong in November 2019. It's a Hong Kong and Macau exclusive, so these watches are not easy to find. It is an excellent timepiece. Stunning looks, great build quality, and very accurate.
I love this piece. Honestly though, with the rolled/cap gold from Tudor it’s the same amount of gold you have on that watch, it just is supported with a steel core so it’s much more solid and less flimsy.
SoonYong Song it’s one heck of a sleeper so it’s good to see others are getting in on one of the best options available from Tudor despite its very limited availability in western markets.
Excellent video! Such a cool watch - true '80s vibe and more charming than modern bi-metal Datejusts: that face is a real star and Rolex make nothing that nice now. Yeah, bit of a rattly bracelet, but it looks authentic to the general vibe of the watch. You did well there - these are getting very hard to find and prices are climbing! And 36 is absolutely the size to have - big presence!
Nice review, new subscriber here. I have the 2015 Tudor Day Date 41mm with the diamond dial and the fluted bezel that no one liked (except me😎). Great watch imo so no gripes here. Thanks and looking forward to more content.
First of all, this is an excellent and informative review. You have an amazing way of explaining your thoughts in a pleasant yet descriptive way. There is a point I want to speak about which I didn't know before: That the bracelet actually has solid gold links. Now I was immediately surprised since I deal as a side-business with genuine rolex spare parts. And most of the tudor bracelets I have come across were plated or even 14k plated. But it seems your information for this particular model seems to be true as I haven't found any contradicting evidence in the usual places (rlx forum and others). That definitely seems to be a great feature of this watch since anything solid gold that is attached to rolex is mega expensive. Now some people have gone so far to disassemble the jubilee bracelet of the 16233 and 16613 and the gold amount was laughable since the links are hollow on the 5 digits. Even the 6 digit have hollowed out parts inside their cases (daytona for example) so rlx is really scroungy on the gold amounts used on their watches. Thank you again and it was amazing for me to learn something which I didn't know before!
Solid gold links? This makes me ask: is there a risk with this model in two tone that it won't age well? The case of solid links makes me wonder if that fear is unnecessary. Some two tone watches in this price point have issues with aging "not-so-well" and the reason for that is primarily the way the watches are capped with gold, not solid gold.
I have a 76200 with flat bezel and black dial, I wanted to have a rolex explorer 12470 because of the 36mm case, but found the tudor and I can not explain how much more i love my tudor compared to an exp1. It’s so much more versatile, i’m the only owner and I will never sell the watch, I’ll probably end up passing it down once I’m older. I’m currently saving up for this 76213 but with the silver linen dial, it looks absolutely gorgeous and i feel like with a gold tone dial, the watch loses alot of the charm Of having a TT configuration, it’s just ”too much” in my humble opinion. However this linen gold dial looks crazy good.
I am real happy for you. Rolex Date Just Jubilee bracelet as you mentioned. Enjoy with good health, respectfully get a grip on you exuberance is not needed.
I have a 7.25” wrist, so it was wears average with a 44mm lug to lug. It has a lot of presence due to the bling factor. It really catches the eye. But by no means would I say it wears large on wrist my size. It just doesn’t look undersized which is what I think people expect from a 36mm usually.
ALTA GEAR Thanks for the response. I tried a 36mm datejust and liked how it fit. I also have a 7.25” wrist so I was just curious from your experience

@@ALTAGEAR I think it's the bracelet that gives it the more substantial look, the lugs extend out a decent bit from the case and really need the end links to fill them out. I'm basing this off of my 1967 1601 DJ in 18k (which is missing the jubilee of course) when compared to a modern 36mm DJ.
great review! just pulled the trigger after watching this video. the only complaint i hear is about the bracelet. how are you enjoying it a year later?
Great watch and review!!! Thanks for the detailed description, will be subbing. I’ve been looking at this watch myself however I’ve only seen them on Chrono24. I’ve also been eyeing a Datejust sometime in the future, may I ask why you ended up selling yours, which watch gives the most bang for the buck?
The main reason I sold my DJ is I wanted that style and aesthetic but in two-tone, and the Prince Day-Date checked more boxes. They were similar enough to where keeping both didn't make much sense, so the DJ was sold off.
ALTA GEAR that makes sense, I’m highly considering the Tudor 2 tone myself and probably will pull the trigger in the next couple of months.... later in the year I’m considering either a Rolex or a Cartier Santos... I think my I like the Cartier better, but mind keeps saying Rolex but I think it’s because the world keeps screaming Rolex, Rolex, Rolex.... My issue with Rolex is the games they play with availability, no need to be on a waiting list when I can buy a quality watch from another brand
@@ALTAGEAR Nice! I really love this watch. Definetly life time keeper. I also have my Tissot pr 100 quarz, which i’ve owned over 11 years. That tissot brought me to love these types of watches. Do you still use your Prince as a daily watch?
Good stuff, after watching this video I ended going to my local Tudor AD in Canada and bought the Tudor Royal 41 steel gold. Still got the Day-Date feature at 41. The only complaint i have might be the Calibre T603 with only 30 hours power reserve. I understand its a Sellita base caliber but wished Tudor was using something more advanced.
@@benjovic7498 I understand. Prince day date has an ETA 2832-2 which is really reliable. Sellita should be almost as good - I would not be too concerned until some problems. That 30hrs power reserve is a bit low but should be just fine.
Do you think that the tudor prince day-date will at some point be a rare piece to get? I am considering this piece as a 2021 purchase, but I don't buy second hand - I didn't do much reading on Tudor as of yet, so not sure if there will be a shortage of this piece in the future?
I suspect so because it’s already somewhat difficult to acquire for Americans and Europeans because it’s intended for the Asian market. Now there’s the new Royal which is a similar watch and available globally.
Very nice, I am thinking about getting this one new. I like that the bezel, crown, and bracelet gold tone are all 18k solid yellow gold. Do you think those selling on Chrono24 from Hong Kong are legit? How comfortable is the bracelet?
The challenge is they are intended for the Asian market so pretty much all of them will be coming out of Hong Kong. Your best bet is to ensure all the documentation is included and really research who the dealer is. Also use a credit card so you have some protection.
The tiny strip of gold on the bracelet looks kind of odd. Would look way better if all 3 of the "small" links in the center were gold instead of just the one in the middle.
Hello everyone :) planning to get this watch and i need some advies please :) it cost around 2350 Euros 3 months old, papers, warranty box available. It is worth it?
I don't understand how is that watch in Italy if you say it's exclusive for the asian market. Like it's not exclusive then? Or they just buy the watches from ADs in Asia or what?

I just took delivery of an almost new ss/white gold (76214); this video was part of my discovery of this watch 😊 thanks
May I know where did you get it from?
The bracelet...Wow! Better than a jubilee
That dial is insane, what a great piece. Thanks for sharing it with the world. oof

Thank you!
That's a really nice looking watch and you wear it well.
I've had this watch for a month now - really happy I found it. Love it!
Please where can I get a new one. Thank you
Gorgeous watch, love the Prince line

It’s definitely a looker.
They are quite easy to find there is a user on Chrono24 called Jetco Investment who has a few of each model, he's a good seller.
It’s actually called the Date Day...not Day Date. Great watch. Just ordered one from Thailand.
Where can I get one? Thank you
I just had the chance to buy a 76213-0019 brand new & fullset for only €2350. Of course I bought it. What a beautiful watch 🥰
I love this piece. Honestly though, with the rolled/cap gold from Tudor it’s the same amount of gold you have on that watch, it just is supported with a steel core so it’s much more solid and less flimsy.
One of those special occasion watches where the color will fit in - seems like sophisticated casual, summer evening.
Such a good review, exactly what I needed to know.

I did just order the M76213-0001, keeps time up great, what I have seen in videos from the seller!
So the middle gold links are full and solid gold right? Do you know how many links+end links do these bracelets have in a full length?

Is it 36mm does it have a screw down crown I'm saving up for this watch just the version without the day on the 12oclock.
Nice video, beautiful watch, but in American Psycho was a Seiko not an Rolex.
How much did you pay?
I've got a 76213 with Champagne dial and Numerals on dial
I purchased it in euros and it equated to approximately $2600 American.
