I have a plane game called RFS. There are lots of planes you can choose from and my top 4 are Antonov,Concorde,airbus a380 and airbus beluga. Even though Concorde doesn't exist anymore I still love it. But anyways you can select all different planes like I said and you also get to fly them the exact way a real pilot does! Nope. The XL is based on the A330. The old Belugas were based on A300 though.

The front has same aerodynamic shape like its wing and the cone dome radar cut the wind and flows through the s shape ,so the bump it's already resolved (Guppy has the same Bump and was used by NASA), so they are not amateurs (Airbus)

Nice machine, but its success depends on the economics of transport. Hope Airbus has done proper market research on this. Potential customers should get a better cost by at least a margin of 15-20 percent. Anything less than that is vulnerable to the change in dynamic price of other modes of transport.

Either you mean that ironic or you don't understand what the Beluga XL is meant for. Airbus doesn't sell them. They use them almost exclusevely to transport large components between their manufacturing plants.

@@shi01 I know the present situation. Almost a billion euros in development costs will not just go for their own transport concerns. There is a future potential, be it civil or military transport. That is why they have listed it under "commercial aircraft" on their website too.

@@emperormartinet1 A billion euros to develope such a plane is actually a bargain. Also, how many Belugas has Airbus sold? I can answer that for you without even looking it up, none. You can charter them for special transports but that's it. You can't buy them.
Also compared to normal freight planes the Belugas are designed to fulfill very specific needs, only encountered in the aerospace industry. The are very good at transporting very large but comparable light stuff.
Boeing designed their Dreamlifter for the exact same purpose as Airbus has designed the Belugas and you can't buy Dreamlifters either.

@@shi01 Both goods and services are meant for "customers" in business. The term 'customer' is not used exclusively for someone who buys actual physical goods. I said the same thing for present. For future I hope they will sell it to specific customers such as big manufacturing industries spread on large geographical areas or armies with big military budget. My first comment was in that context.
