all of them are actually bootlegged from a specific series of motors : the Mabuchi 130 motors. most of them that you see nowdays are bootlegs but if you are lucky enough you can find official Mabuchi ones. Mabuchi also makes a lot of diffrent motors for diffrent appliances, i have like 10 Mabuchi motors all of diffrent types in my dc motor collection (which has like 20-30 motors) and not all of them are 130 motors, some are different, theres even a 280 motor in there. hope this helps.
when i say 8th motor for example it means the 8th motor from the LEFT not the right motors that died first 1:04 the 12th motor died first 1:05 the 1st motor died second 1:07 the 10th motor died third now, the 13th motor is declared the winner as it is the last one to stop spinning, congrats, 13th motor.
If you want to blow up a electric motor, go to good will and get some HP Desk Jet printers, their motors are tough, I put 25 volts dc into them and they ran for about 20 seconds then I cut power, they are like 12 volt motors but they will take a while to die at my dad’s power supply rate
5 years later and my dad has a old OfficeJet printer from HP which has a short circuit preventing the circuit board from even booting up, and do the OfficeJet printers also have the same motors ? if they do, thanks as i might dismantle it to get them.
@@Turbo_The_Femboy_Fox the voltage does not matter to me as i do have a 12 volt power supply, i currently wired it up to a 12 volt Mabuchi motor, but i make it go through a screw terminal so that i can change the motors. but if one day my dad finally says that the printer is fully dead then i might salvage the motors (including the stepper motors) for other projects.
I didn't expect to hear a Fourmula One race...
It did kinda sound like a Formula One race lol
I did
🤣
Yesss🤣🤣🤣🤣
1:00 sounds like crowd cheering lol
it sounded like a cheering crowd at one point
the micro motors scream until there final rotation
Their*
i hate destroyers
😜
That was awesome. I had so much fun with those kinds of motors growing up.
the little motors that look like these melt and i find that fun
At the beginning, it almost sounds like a server booting up.
You sound like Lester from GTA 5
Jacob Buntjer he kinda does
It's like they're shrieking NO! DON'T!
That had a interesting sound to it. lol
I have several of these motors - for someone into model railroading like me, these can be used for engine rebuilds as replacement motors and such
wow it just sounded like a 13 cylinder formula 1 engine :D (its nonexistent afaik btw)
Why did I genuinely enjoy watching this.
It could be on TV and I would wait for commercial to take a piss 😂😂
you wasted a nice set of motors,
TheSkunk1996 100 of these doesnt equal the tech destruction channels killing brand new iphones
@@aliensanonymous5063 Techrax?
boo hoo.
It's all for science
at the end it kinda sounded like a whistle from a steam train.
at 9v it sounded like a drone taking off lol
CompuGaming Maybe because the motors on a drone propeller are run at 9v
9L
L = Likes
They definitely don't last long, but they are so much fun to burn out.
Loved the sound.
Is there an industry term for this type of motor? They seem so ubiquitous across all sorts of products.
At the back of it is a small curved label. I don't really remember it, but it said something like "Ching lee motor".

Oh!!.... That symphonic choir of motor screams!........ I love it ;).
From where u get all these motors?
From all over the place, just about anything can have a little motor in it these days.
at what rpm they were before blown out.
I can smell the motors from my phone even. I cant even imagine how bad it was after all of that
Actually those little motors gave off almost no smell at all.
they all kinda sould like a hundred steam whistles
Junior Garage steam whistles lol

motors that died first
1:04 the 12th motor died first
1:05 the 1st motor died second
1:07 the 10th motor died third

So this is what a Formula one motor looks like. It definitely sounds like Formula One

Variac, Full bridge rectifier, Volt meter, Wires, Soldering iron and a whole lotta motors
@@luigikoopa8771 A whole lot indeed! 👍
Remember ,train traction motors only using 1500 volt DC
Why am i watching this?

It kinda sounds like there singing
Sounds like my drone
Chris Leach you have a drone?
I have a micro motor that I overloaded to 24v 1500ma and it still runs
Some of those motors are pretty tough.
For Science yeah
very cool
you should make an rc super cargo plane
