Hi Cassiy, I am a big fan of your work. I would request you to make a video on the major mistakes we cannot undo in our shop, our listings, our SEO or anything related with this POD business. Because I have heard people saying that Google Ads remembers your mistakes and it is very hard to regain the top spot in Google Ads once you lose it by mistake. Is there anything like this in Etsy? If there is, we should avoid the mistakes at any cost. 😨
It's about time Etsy! I been writing product descriptions from Day 1, always known it increases conversion. I also include other sections in each description such as "Return Policy / Shipping (how things are shipped or sent) / Follow Us / Find more (blank) in our shop under category (blank), etc etc.
Thank you again! Please make a video about how you structure your day to run your businesses, and how it compares to when you first started, for us newbies!

Since my husband stopped working in January, its a balance between working in small pockets of time between Pickle Ball, Badminton and Disc Golf lol The nice thing about Etsy is that eventually you get it to a place where you can coast a bit! But in the beginning man is it a grind!!

I'm preparing now, creating designs, buying great mockups, compiling phrases, and researching best selling shirts. I'm also taking pictures of shirts when I go into Target, Walmart, or any stores that sell shirts to get ideas for designs. Fantastic info yet again! Thank you!

I have heard that Google doesn’t support that and Etsy doesn’t really like it either. And if watermarks hurt your ranking what do you do to protect your designs?
So glad you enjoyed my video, really appreciate your support! As for watermarks, no I don't watermark my designs because I don't think it looks as good. You could always just put your logo or something part over the design to make it harder to steal. But people are going to steal your designs wether you watermark them or not, people are crafty like that. I just don't waste my time worrying about them honestly.

I have heard that videos only help with converting customers once they have clicked on your listing, I have never heard that they help with SEO or ranking. I have never used videos personally.
I love your videos! They are very informative and well laid out. I do have a question regarding creative fabrica. In all the videos I have watched this is the first time I have heard about this site. I have really only heard Canva references. Do you have a video that goes into how to effectively use creative fabrica?
Hi Kristen! I use both Canva and Creative Fabrica. Canva has lots of great graphics and fonts but don't ALWAYS have what I'm looking for, that's where CF comes in. Here is a video review I did explaining how it works, how to use it and the license you get for the different graphics ruclips.net/video/Qc-PpjE4z9w/видео.html . As for using it, if you like a design, you just click download and then upload it to Canva just like you would any other graphic or photo. Then you use it as a piece of your design! Hope this helps!

Hi Cassiy, I love your videos and am learning so much! I opened my shop last month and was suspended two days later. I know this is not uncommon. I was up and running again after 8 days and then was shut down again a few days later. Its been another 9 days and I still haven't received any word from Etsy. Is there a way to contact someone for assistance? I just want to figure out what I have done wrong and get back up and moving forward. Any advice would be appreciated.

I would probably skip it for past listings unless they are ones that are about to start becoming popular, like 4th of July, Fathers Day and Pride listings would be worth sprucing up since they are all really gaining traction right now. Some niches, like really specific ones, there are only so many keywords you can use in the listing always so don't feel the need to go back on old ones and include the same keywords from the title and tags just into the description. I'd just start doing it moving forward!
Hilarious- so ETSY is now at the stage of YT seo 2017-18. I was completely unaware that description made an impact... every vid (probably more than 3 months in age) have said, don't do it. Now I am meant to do it? Sigh the CORE problem with older Yt guides... damaging info.
Yes it is a newer thing, I was always doing it a bit before because people said it might help with google but if you don't do it now either, then it's not the end of the world!
Hi, its me again i just finish all your videos top to bottom including all the niche list you shared and what happens next is taking notes and apply them and now i have almost 100 sales this month because of your tips.. i update my listings in description bec of etsy seo update, your tips on tags, titles, attrib and category, i use allura service, i put good pictures 3-5 with diff colors and models and with faq and instructions. Soon i will try the email list can you make a video on what service you are using for automatic emails, i have a few in mind but it will helps greatly if you make a tutorial. Thanks again for all your tips and experiences much love, and more power. I am on digital art but soon i will try the pod if my customer wants it to be printed..

I’m wondering why we would write the same things in title/ desc. First 150 char/ and tags, If Etsy counts all of these towards ranking then wouldn’t it be better to use different words for all 3 places? Pls explain thx!!
You don't have to repeat everything but the idea is to repeat the keywords you really want to rank for so the algorithm thinks that you are the perfect match because exactly what they typed into the search bar, is coming up multiple times in your listing.

Would you recommend updating excisting listings? If you have 1000+ listings that can be a daunting job. What's your opinion?
