Both were made by the same Master Perfumer, Nathalie Lorson. I have both, each has its own personality. I think Bentley has a better projection, but I still like Encre Noire better. Bentley is sweeter. Encre Noire feels more woody. I think the participants should not see the bottles at all. Even the shape/color can induce a bias. They should only feel the smell.

Which would u recomend for a teen beacause yesterday i tried tom ford ombre leather and i ant some leather scent now but im scared these are for older people?
@@natkobratko3198 I'm not sure I like how Bentley feels after I've had the bottle for a while. Like half a year later. I feel it's too sweet. And a bit like turpentine almost.
But if you like leather, I just discovered a new favorite: Salvatore Ferragamo - Spicy Leather. It's a bit more expensive, but....God! What a scent! Amazing!
And a tip: if you like it, why do you care about the others? Just wear it and enjoy. I think that every perfume will have people who like it and people who dislike it.. it's genetics. Some people have gene variations that make them perceive some scents as gross or amazing.
ok now i watched some vidfoes about encre noire al extreme what are ur toughts on that one is it more versatile and "younger"then the original or should i try something else

@@natkobratko3198 I don't know. I haven't tried it. But as far as I've seen reviews, you might want to try Encre Noire Sport. It seems to be a better fit for spring/summer as it's fresh and has citrus notes, bergamot and nutmeg, but still has the vetiver scent in it. It might be a "younger" scent, but you'll need to try it.
I also had Montblanc Starwalker and I used to love it a few years ago. It had very fresh bergamot notes. I think it's still around but people say it has a 2-4 hrs longevity. I frankly don't remember.
All in all, I think I'll try an Encre Noire Sport myself as it seems to be versatile and spring is just around the corner.
You shouldn't have the bottles with you, just the strip. The biggest reason in doing smell tests in the public is to avoid bias, as the smell will determine the particpant's choice. When you have the bottle (brand) right in front of them, now their choices can be based on the brand and not the scent itself, IMO.

I have the bentley for men intense. The problem is, our climate here in malaysia is warmer. Everytime i wear it, the smell is too strong..hmmmm..
Try the EDT version, it's not as dark and heavy.
Get the regular Bentley for Men, not the Intense version. Same DNA
I have both. For me and my skin, the Bentley reins supreme. It's a personality fit me. The smell is great, along with the longevity. Encre Noire is one I've had for about 3 years now and it's still a bit divisive...tough to figure out when to wear that one. I'm probably just not a fan of inky fragrances...that's what I have the biggest beef with. However, A L'extreme is the more well put together version of the original and one I can tolerate enough to wear in the wild. Excellent with a suit. Good content!

Yh it’s same with men. A younger audience will prefer Bentley and an older audience will prefer Lalique. Lalique is for more matured people.

Unless it was edited out , you have to tell the women of each group at the beginning that the fragrance is for “ men “ women tend to gravitate to a sweeter fragrance especially if they’re wearing it . Your test was biased towards the Bentley .

As expected... Encre Noire is not for all, i believe. It needs a mature nose to understand the depth of it...On the other hand, BFM intense got some likeable characteristics...
Actually both of them are really nice in my opinion but I also personally like lalique encer noire

Curious! The more mature women in this video chose Encre Noire while the younger women chose Bentley For Man Intense. Perhaps because Encre Noire is more reminiscent of the powerhouse fragrances of the 80s and 90s, while Bentley has a more youthful appeal with leather and incense.
