Yes that is some nice effects for the movies music too...or ...the effet of David Lindley....in Jackson Brown runing on empty...😮 // anyway nice box effetc Ensemble...
Thanks. Yeah, the Dover surprised me. I bought it and used it on guitar, but it was too dark, IMO. I was ready to sell it off, but on a whim I tried it with steel........and LOVE it.
if youre still looking, i was messing around with a GNX3 Guitar Station that has a similar sound. not sure if theres any video online for that kind of thing though
@@jfog10 great thank you! I don’t lay a lot of classic and southern rock so it will certainly add to what I can do. It’s nice to make people do a double take on gigs where it’s just you and a singer with a. Guitar. They don’t expect electric guitar sounds from a pedal steel. Always nice to show them how versatile the PSG actually is.
It's the last, before the looper. I like the Plethora a lot. Only real additions I'd like........an autowah.......a good, independent 7-10 band EQ.........maybe add reverse and 1/2 speed options to the looper. Some people wish it had some kind of drive pedal, but I'm fine using the amp or other drives.
Jim - nice demo, bro! I’ve got a Plethora on its way as I type this. I almost bought the damn thing at least a half dozen times but I finally pulled trigger.
Gorgeous-thx for sharing
Great post. Love the Freak Out and your delay.
I’d like to hear that Dover Drive on amplified squareneck reso
I think it would depend on the pickup. A magnetic pickup could sound good. A piezo isn't the best through it.
@@jfog10 makes sense. Thx!
There are so many sounds someone could get out of this, like a weird string sound like the Beatles I'm The Walrus.
🤙

Yeah the auto wah pedal sounds killer! Gonna have to tell Paul I agree and get one myself!
Ooh man I like that dover drive!
Thx for sharing! Now I need to Find a Mxr resonator pedal ;-)
Love your vid! From among all those pedals which one would give you the best hawaiian lap steel tone?
Thank you. All amazed me but that Dover Drive DID really sound like David Lindley’s Dumble, IMHO.

3:28 is what I’m looking for! What pedals are those? Edit: oh wait that’s a steel guitar. I wish there was an guitar pedal that gave you that effects

Hey Jim what brand is that auto wah? Only thing I’m finding is an electro harmonix envelope filter.
It’s this Donner one. Inexpensive and awesome!

Do you have the plethora x5 at the beginning or end of your pedal board? What is it missing in your opinion- what other pedals are necessary

Is the plethora in the effects loop or in front of the amp?
Your a guitar player
Yes, I also play armpit guitar, as well as pedal and lap steel. What's your point?
You need none of this. Just plug straight into the amp with a touch of reverb.
You do you. Everyone's needs, ears and situation are different. I love Mooney and Lloyd Green, but the music I play doesn't call for that too much.
