Good video idea. Finally someone else who played Mickey’s Racing adventure on GBC I loved that game! Agreed the tracks and overall theme are probably the weakest point of the game, but the gameplay is solid!
I had this game as a kid and still do in my collection. I never got rid of the game and would play it occasionally. Seattle was so strange to play through especially since I was born and raised in Washington...
Ayyy we just played this on my gameshow, Tappers! Was so refreshing to see someone put out a licensed Kart Racer that didn't feel like a throwaway title. The Rareware polish is undeniable!
Yes! Rare put out quality no matter what it was really. Honestly Disney has quite a few decent games. If you haven’t played the game color prequel…it’s awesome!
Say what you will. Upon release date, Mickey speedway had more memorable characters than diddy Kong racing. Maybe you should re-do your Mario kart 64 vs Diddy Kong racing video
4:26 In my experience playing with my sisters the Trace Chaser does lock on no matter were the racer IN FRONT of you is located. The problem is that it goes directly at them, which is why it looks like it goes straight into a walls sometimes. So yeah, then best way to use it would be when you have visual contact and a clear shot. But maps like indianapolis you can shot blind it at the begining of the straightway, as long as the other racer in front has not taken the curve, in which the car might end up "taking a shortcut" only going to a wall again.
Mickeys Racing for me was pretty much an accidental blockbuster rental because Mario Kart was taken. My cousin and I played it, but we thought it was whatever and moved on to Mario Party. I woukd have respected it more back then if I knew it was a Rare game
Subbing. YT throws so many gaming channels at me but they are either angry/negative/anti-woke grifters, or they try too hard to be wacky/funny or they just lack the passion. You seem to truly love this era of gaming, great voice work and you come off super genuine. That’s hard to find. Hope this channel continues to grow.
@@CrowTRobot thank you so much!!! I agree 100% it’s hard to find gaming channels that aren’t negative or doing something different. I’m basically making videos that I would have wanted to watch when I was younger. I love Rare/N64 and that entire era of games!
I've played this game countless of times as a toddler. I honestly did like it over most kart racing games at the time. The game has pretty decent mechanics. Just as surprised as the next person, the game doesn't get as much attention as it should. I feel like it deserves a port/remaster at least on the switch.
ngl, i knew about this game cause i read it on magazines, but never got around to play it, and it baffles me that i never knew it was developed by rare
The N64 had amazing kart racing games, and I enjoyed this one A LOT, never owned but rented many times. But to tell the truth, Snowboard Kids is by far my favorite "kart" racing game, too unique for its time, it has amazing controls, great music y memorable characters.
I remember renting this game a ton as a kid. Though me and my brother would usually stick to the multiplayer battle mode. Glad you covered this forgotten racer. Would be interested to hear your take on Snowboard Kids 1 & 2, two other often forgotten racers on the 64.
Honestly, this game holds a special place in my heart. Played it day in and out as a child and I still play it today as a comfort video game. The music, character voice lines, the tracks, all of it combined together made for a purely great kart racer! Love the video! And hope more people try this game out ^(^~^)^
Dawg I remember Micky speedway USA I think it was the first game I ever got when I got a N64. I played it nonstop I mean until I more games it was all I played. And it was a fun time. Diddy Kong racing definitely is much better but yeah Micky speedway USA is definitely underrated but yeah there's better games for sure but it was fun while I had it
Rare (haha get it) to see lots of people say not only that they've played this game but enjoyed it too!! Always liked this one more for the music than DKR, loved that one more for the story. Still have my N64 and just to show how dedicated to this game I was, someone once stole it and then I i bought it again just to keep forever. Love still playing all my classic games on N64.
One thing that bugged me about the game was the music. As kid I felt all the songs were lonely and depressing in a way. Hearing them again as an adult makes me feel the same way, instead of having the proper amount of energy they have a sense of melancholy.
N64 Rareware games ranked by memes Banjo-Kazooie: That's why he's the GOAT! THE GOAT!! Banjo-Tooie: WHOOOOO! Conker's Bad Fur Day: Hey that's pretty good. Diddy Kong Racing: It was perfect. Perfect. Everything, down to the last minute details. DK64: I mean, it's alright like. Jet Force Gemini: Nice Goldeneye007: It was perfect. Perfect. Everything, down to the last minute details. Perfect Dark: WHOOOOO! Killer Instinct: WHOOOOO! Blast Corps: Hey that's pretty good. Mickey's Speedway USA: I mean, it's alright like.
This game is great, it has incredible visuals, widescreen, runs smoothly, incredible soundtrack, it seems a bit lukewarm at first, but mastering the mechanics and being able to run using Ludwig is addictive. The only thing I would like more in this game was an adventure mode and that characters like Mickey, Donald, Minnie and Daisy were not completely useless.
Good video! I didn't play this one, but definitely will give it a look now. I think I kind of ignored this one when I was a kid as I already had Mario Kart 64 and Diddy Kong Racing. I remember seeing stuff on this one back in the day, but I didn't feel I needed to add another kart racer to my library. I also just wasn't as interested in Disney stuff then and the fact that all the tracks were based off real-world locations didn't seem as fun. I preferred the fantastical tracks of Mario and Diddy. However, I definitely want to give this one its fair shake as it still looks quite fun and I do enjoy a solid kart racer! It just feels a bit bizarre that this was one of the last Rareware games on the N64. It felt like it came out of left field!
I used to love playing this game. Mickey's Speedway USA, Mario Kart 64, and Crash Team Racing are what got me into the kart racing genre. I never played Diddy Kong Racing. I didn't know that game existed till like 2015 or something lol. I'm glad 23 years later, we ended up getting Disney Speedstorm. I wish the developers of Disney Speedstorm were able to remake tracks from Mickey's Speedway. That would be sick. It's too bad that won't happen since Gameloft would have to go through Rare in order for that to happen. The Roster for Disney Speedstorm: Mickey Mouse: Mickey, Donald, Goofy, Minnie, Daisy, Steamboat Mickey, and Steamboat Pete Oswald The Lucky Rabbit: Oswald and Ortensia Sleeping Beauty: Maleficent 101 Dalmatians: Cruella The Jungle Book: Baloo and Mowgli The Muppets: Kermit and Miss Piggy The Little Mermaid: Ariel, Eric, Ursula, and King Triton Beauty and the Beast: Beast, Gaston, and Belle Aladdin: Aladdin, Jafar, Jasmine, and Genie The Nightmare Before Christmas: Jack Skelington, Oogie Boogie, Sally, and Dr. Finklestein Toy Story: Woody, Buzz, Jessie, and Bo Peep Hercules: Hercules, Hades, and Megara Mulan: Mulan and Shang Monsters Inc: Mike, Sulley, Celia, and Randall Lilo & Stitch: Lilo, Stitch, Angel, Jumba, and Gantu Pirates of the Carribean: Jack Sparrow, Will Turner, Elizabeth Swann, Tia Dalma, Hector Barbossa, and Davey Jones The Incredibles: Mr. Incredible, Mrs. Incredible, Violet, Dash, and Frozone Wall-E: Wall-E and Eve Tangled: Rapunzel Wreck it Ralph: Ralph, Felix, Vanellope, Calhoun, and King Candy Frozen: Elsa, Anna, Kristoff, Olaf, and Hanes Inside Out: Joy, Sadness, Disgust, Anger, Fear, Anxiety, and Ennui Walt Disney World: Figment
The game has been brushed off as a "Mario Kart clone" and being a licensed game. MSUSA does bring some challenges, especially if you're tackling Frantic Finale. To give this game credit, it has more track themes compared to DKR cause that game only has Prehistoric/Dinosaur, Snow, Beach, Medieval themed tracks. The Japanese title is a bit different, the name being Mickey's Racing Challenge USA .
I know you mentioned it in the video, but imagine if they did pull from the Mickey Mouse universe for stages. Mickey & Minnie: Classic Mickey Mouse Shorts-themed stages, and maybe some Mickey Mouse Works ones Donald & Daisy: DuckTales-themed stages, maybe Quack Pack (Scrooge's Money Bin, Mount Vesuvius, etc...) Goofy & Pete: Goof Troop-themed stages, maybe A Goofy Movie (Powerline Concert, for example) Granted, in the case of DuckTales and Goof Troop, they might not do that since Disney rarely lets those elements crossover with (for the lack of a better term) the mainline Mickey Mouse universe. But you never know. (I mean, Max Goof has appeared in a few of the games like Disney Golf)
2:34 I thought the Weasels where on the run. And that you had to race around America to find them, while the Weasels are taunting Mickey & Crew sending photos. (Which makes me think the races should have been or include straightaway/straight/line tracks - maybe freeways - across America. While chasing the Weasels directly at them instead of "looking for them" around loops....but that might have been due to the limits of the N64)
Thank you so much for this video. I've been waiting for this for a long time, and I'm glad to finally hear more about this little-known gem from Rare. I look forward to hearing more about the mysteries of this game (I even suggest mentioning its compatibility with the N64 Transfer Pak [Stop Skeletons from Fighting channel has an excellent video where they mention it] as part of its mysteries, by the way).
@@jiggylookback I understand that it's difficult, and it usually is when you're just starting out, but I have no doubt that there will be some great information when that video arrives (I recommend Stop Skeletons from Fighting's video about the N64 Transfer Pak to add some mystery), as well as some interesting information about the GBC versions and their relation to the home version. Thank you very much and always good luck with future videos.
one of the comments is there needs to bring to the switch but add more tracks to the game and Huey unlock at the start cuz in the n64 version you need the gb version as well the transfer pack in order to unlock him.
Jet Force Gemini was also made on the DKR engine, and it has racing minigames. Dinosaur Planet/Starfox Adventures is also on the DKR engine, and it has speederbike sections.
I knew this was a Rare game. Remember seeing it in an ad in Nintendo Power and being surprised Rare made it. Was thinking about picking it up but never did.
I've always really wanted someone to make a mod of this game with tracks based on classic Disney cartoons like Steamboat Willie, The Band Concert, The Sorcerer's Apprentice, Motor Mania... maybe even Der Fuehrer's Face if theyre feeling bold. 😆 Great retrospective! I agreed with everything you said. When i was a kid, I didnt really like Mickey's Speedway USA that much because i didnt think it was nearly as good as Mario Kart 64 or Diddy Kong Racing. That may be true but but not everything needs to be as good as two of the best racing games of all time. As an adult going back to it I appreciate it a lot more and would probably put it on par with something like Lego Racers. Go play a couple races of South Park Rally and try to tell me Mickey's Speedway isn't a competent racing game haha.
@@okfinebethatway yes exactly! And it can get really fast and test your skills. It’s underrated for sure! A fun time for those who haven’t played it before and honestly I love that it’s Rare. It just adds a little special sauce on top.
This is one of the most underrated Kart Racers and unfortunately because of its age and how Kart Racers evolved with Mario Kart, Sonic & Sega, and CTR it seems like it won’t ever see the praise and shine it truly deserves 😢
I love this game so much. I actually prefer it over Diddy Kong and Mario due to how good it controls and how satisfying the speed, shortcuts, and ramps are to race through. Also how certain weight classes has clear advantages on certain tracks. Oh and the music is some of David Wise’s best work
The speed is definitely incredible on this one. It rewards skill so well. Ben Cullum did the music for this particular game. My comment about David Wise was actually for the game boy color Mickey’s Racing Adventure. But I agree the music is fantastic!
My older siblings didn’t own this game growing up so I’ve never played it on the N64. Trying it on an emulator years later, it’s not bad. Kinda wish it was on NSO.
Presumably most people skipped over this one because 1) it was just another Mario Kart rip-off. Sure it's before Garfield Kart or a lot of the weirder ones, but I don't think most people even looked at it closely enough to notice it was by Rare. 2) This was released after 10 years of Mickey not doing anything. And that thing ten years ago was Prince and the Pauper, which is barely 25 minutes long. And this was 7 years after his previous cartoon, Mickey's Christmas Carol, which was released after literally 30 years of no new Mickey cartoons. I cannot state how irrelevant Mickey was at this time. It was probably made to coincide with Mickey's Mouse Works, a series that did so badly they had to repackage all of the episodes into the House of Mouse so people would actually watch it. This was Mickey's darkest hour... just before dawn, the House of Mouse turned out to be a real turning point, and now the little has too many shows running concurrently... go figure. Also 3) all those reasons you mentioned in the video. So more than 3, the universe just stacked against it. Let's petition to get it on NSO, they have "Quest For Camelot" of all things, so it's not _impossible._ (Yes, that's Warner Brothers; the point is that licensing hurdles can be _overcome.)_
Quest for Camelot…another weird one that released on NsO. Lol and I totally had that on gameboy too. Really hoping the prequel mickeys racing adventure for gameboy would go to nso that game is great
Part of me wishes there could be a sequel with a more expanded roster. Imagine the same characters from the original back alongside Scrooge McDuck, Oswald the Lucky Rabbit, Mortimer Mouse, Horace Horsecollar, Clarabelle Cow and even Clara Cluck
I prefer the tracks in Mickey's Speedway to Diddy Kong Racing. Lots of fun to try and master difficult tracks like Colorado. All the tracks in Diddy Kong are pretty easy.
I mean easy as in the turns and such aren’t so dramatic, but it has much more balance of skill and strategy with items and stuff imo. This is like…get good or else lol
While I do love the American theme racetracks a lot. I do agree that the race tracks could have use more Disney theme tracks. I say they should have made America areas more mickey-esk - like you said/shown before - NEW YORK is the best example. For most tracks it seems like it's Mickey & Friends in the real world, rather a place where they live in. I think the thing that would have help the game a bit and help lessen the real worldness of the tracks would have bring other disney characters that have a connection to the mouse or.. hollywood. (Yes I know we have a ton of ducks already but...) Scrooge Mcduck in a mini version of his purple limousine. Gizmo duck (no kart) (The one that gave me this idea) Darkwing duck on his motorcycle and thanks to DW I was thinking they should have added St.Canard (and Duckburg for Scrooge's case). And to counter all the ducks add Bonkers the Bobcat as a secret unlockble for racing in L.A. (I was super happy to see Bonkers being in the new ducktails show) Well I thought this would have been possible... until I discovered licenses are a thing. Still I really did wish for this game to get a sequel(s) on some other country like France, India or Australia and maybe end the series as a World Tour. The problem being since these tracks have to be based off real world locations we will not see Sonic style Looped or twisted roads... Well maybe Toontown if they add it in. So the tracks will be somewhat limited to flat ground if they ever made a new game. And you may say: "As if we are going to buy a game where Pluto gets kidnapped all over again" I say well that never stopped us from buying more Mario games, has it? Plus, Pluto ain't the only one that gets kidnapped and/or they can come up with some thing else to fuel the racers. Well at least Disney Speedstorm is a thing but it's a nail in the coffin for my hopes of a Mickey's Speedway sequel (and a real Sugar Rush videogame for that matter) to exist.
I used to own this game. I managed to 100% it, too. My one critique is that you don’t get to visit much of the USA. I suppose you can only fit so much data on a n64 cartridge, so I shouldn’t expect one track for all 50 states. Still, did we really have to revisit California 3 times!?
Interesting video, I have definitely heard of the game and I've seen it before, but never played it. Idk when I first saw this game I never found it that interesting back in the day when they used to have demo stations set up in McDonalds way back in the day so it's a game I skipped over. The game looks interesting, but overall I don't think the theming is as good as Rare's other games.
Another thing I would add with this game is that in terms of its multiplayer, the framerate and lag is unforgivable. You also realise that the tracks are very short in comparison to mario and diddy
I didn’t embrace the multiplayer experience since I focused more on the single player. I’ll have to see how it runs now. Sorry to hear that one! Could it be the amount of players too?
I've never played Diddy Kong Racing, but this game is better than Mario Kart 64 for me as a big Mario fan, i felt more whimsy in this game compared to Mario Kart 64 where while yes its fun, it can get frustrating, especially later on. Plus i love the fact this game has real 3D models compared to MK64. Music is all amazing, ofc Rare standards

Btw I forgot to re-up my membership. This is definitely a channel that deserves it
this comment sounds a lil dumb considering Disney characters have been around since black and white films 😂
I always see this game when people talk about Rare but this might be the first video I’ve seen discuss it.
@@theruoc147 I don’t see a whole lot discussing it either.
If memory serves, which tracks the hidden parts are in are actually hinted at with the Weasel picture on the map such as 7:16
Congrats on 10k !
Thank you so much!!
I...thought I had played this, but the more I watched, the more unsure I got.
Maybe it was just at a friend's house.
@ that’s what I’ve always told myself. If I ever make videos, it should be the content that I would want to watch. You’re nailing it!!
I've played this game countless of times as a toddler. I honestly did like it over most kart racing games at the time. The game has pretty decent mechanics.
Just as surprised as the next person, the game doesn't get as much attention as it should. I feel like it deserves a port/remaster at least on the switch.
It should get something. Definitely a competent and fun game!
Great videos!!!
Glad you liked it!!
Just saw a 10 minutes video of someones who "F-ING LOVE MICKEY SPEEDWAY USA" and now that
I guess I'm watching Mickey Speedway USA content now
Bahahaha awesome
I always had trouble unlocking the triplets and I didn't know about Von Drake being unlockable until this video!
You can’t unlock all three unless you have a transfer pak and the gameboy version.
ngl, i knew about this game cause i read it on magazines, but never got around to play it, and it baffles me that i never knew it was developed by rare
@@kalarse yes indeed. It’s also very fun! Totally worth a play if you can!
I discovered this one a few years back. I grew up playing N64 and had never heard of it! Its now my favourite cart racer.
Heck yeah! It’s a fun one. You can get so fast it’s awesome
4:53 you missed one thing, stormy weather also disables items from usage
btw, contest mode is ridiculously fast if you master brakedrifting with Louie
The N64 had amazing kart racing games, and I enjoyed this one A LOT, never owned but rented many times.
But to tell the truth, Snowboard Kids is by far my favorite "kart" racing game, too unique for its time, it has amazing controls, great music y memorable characters.
I remember renting this game a ton as a kid. Though me and my brother would usually stick to the multiplayer battle mode. Glad you covered this forgotten racer. Would be interested to hear your take on Snowboard Kids 1 & 2, two other often forgotten racers on the 64.
I never played Snowboard Kids 2. But the first snowboard kids I played a ton!!!
Honestly, this game holds a special place in my heart. Played it day in and out as a child and I still play it today as a comfort video game.
The music, character voice lines, the tracks, all of it combined together made for a purely great kart racer!
Love the video! And hope more people try this game out ^(^~^)^
Me too!! Thanks for watching! It was a really fun game!
I basically know it as "The Disney racing game found on N64 kiosks at McDonald's".
I wish I got to play it at McDonald’s!! A bunch of people were saying that. Awesome!
Dawg I remember Micky speedway USA I think it was the first game I ever got when I got a N64. I played it nonstop I mean until I more games it was all I played. And it was a fun time. Diddy Kong racing definitely is much better but yeah Micky speedway USA is definitely underrated but yeah there's better games for sure but it was fun while I had it
Yes exactly! It’s a fun game.
N64 is just a blast :)
One thing that bugged me about the game was the music. As kid I felt all the songs were lonely and depressing in a way. Hearing them again as an adult makes me feel the same way, instead of having the proper amount of energy they have a sense of melancholy.
Really? I enjoyed the soundtrack a lot!
I bought this game recently because I was collecting all the Rare games on N64.
It's honestly a lot of fun and pretty underrated!
It really is!!
As one of this game's biggest fanatics, i can confirm this game IS a banger.
@@b.w.k.64yt indeed!
Never played this. My childhood N64 racing game alongside Mario Kart and Diddy Kong Racing was Cruis'n World

My thoughts exactly. Though I heard the multiplayer can lag quite a bit.
It is bizarre it’s Rare. Definitely worth a look tho!
Disney speedstorm Ive never heard of. Sounds epic!
@@jiggylookback It's a free-to-play game that came out last year.
The release didn't hurt it for me I had no clue what a PlayStation 2 or Dreamcast was but I LOVED Mickey Mouse.
Really enjoyed this one, one of the best rentals I got as a child lol
A banger of a rental for sure!!
I know you mentioned it in the video, but imagine if they did pull from the Mickey Mouse universe for stages.
Mickey & Minnie: Classic Mickey Mouse Shorts-themed stages, and maybe some Mickey Mouse Works ones
Donald & Daisy: DuckTales-themed stages, maybe Quack Pack (Scrooge's Money Bin, Mount Vesuvius, etc...)
Goofy & Pete: Goof Troop-themed stages, maybe A Goofy Movie (Powerline Concert, for example)
Granted, in the case of DuckTales and Goof Troop, they might not do that since Disney rarely lets those elements crossover with (for the lack of a better term) the mainline Mickey Mouse universe. But you never know. (I mean, Max Goof has appeared in a few of the games like Disney Golf)
It could have been really epic! Imagine steamboat Willie and everything is black and white…so much potential for awesome tracks.
Yes mysteries at some point. I’m trying to really find things on this game. It’s a tough one for me.
@ thank you! I’ll do my best!!!
one of the comments is there needs to bring to the switch but add more tracks to the game and Huey unlock at the start cuz in the n64 version you need the gb version as well the transfer pack in order to unlock him.
I didn't know This was made in the diddy kong racing engine.
I also didn't know the gameboy color game came first.
Yes! If you haven’t played Mickeys Racing Adventure it’s actually awesome!
@@jiggylookback I have played that game, I'm just surprised it was made first. Good reccomendation though.
Jet Force Gemini was also made on the DKR engine, and it has racing minigames. Dinosaur Planet/Starfox Adventures is also on the DKR engine, and it has speederbike sections.
Didnt know the game either until now. Funny.
I played DKracing and MarioKart but never heard about this one
Yep. Often overlooked and forgotten. It’s a fun one!
I really want to try this game out. It looks pretty fun, even if it’s a bit forgotten.
You should give it a shot! Definitely worth it!
I only knew about this game because I read about it in Nintendo Power.
But I never knew that Rare made it!
Yep! Definitely worth a play!

Great retrospective!
Wow, i owned this as a kid and played it so much, had no idea it was a Rare game!
Yes! And it’s good!
This is one of the most underrated Kart Racers and unfortunately because of its age and how Kart Racers evolved with Mario Kart, Sonic & Sega, and CTR it seems like it won’t ever see the praise and shine it truly deserves 😢
It really does deserve more praise
Wow this is a trip. I never could beat this game.
Frantic finale is no joke…
Always have digged this game!
Heck yeah.
Another great Disney racing game is Walt Disney World Quest Magical Racing Tour. It is a clone of Crash Team Racing made by Crystal Dynamics.
I’ll have to try that one. I remember seeing it!
Would you consider discussing this game’s PlayStation counterpart “Walt Disney World Quest: Magic Racing Tour”?
Someday sure! It would be cool to compare them!
@@jiggylookback I agree. I hope someday you do a comparison.
My older siblings didn’t own this game growing up so I’ve never played it on the N64. Trying it on an emulator years later, it’s not bad. Kinda wish it was on NSO.
It would be cool on NSO but we certainly need Diddy Kong racing first
Presumably most people skipped over this one because 1) it was just another Mario Kart rip-off.
Really hoping the prequel mickeys racing adventure for gameboy would go to nso that game is great
Daisy being lightweight feels not what she would drive
@@virovac885 I can’t speak to the character of Daisy’s vehicle choices haha
Loved this game as a kid
Mickey's Speedway USA is the bestkart racing on the N64 in my humble Disney loving opinionation.
It's just too fun
It’s very fun.
This game is hard! As a kid I never could beat it. The final cup is super hard, even on the easy difficulty. Maybe I will try again
It is hard!!! Frantic finale is insane!
THIS WAS A RARE GAME!?
O_o
I played it, barely remembered it existed and thought I hallucinated it, never knew it was by Rare lol
@@abdieljove2011 yes indeed!!
Yeah I also vaguely remember playing it at a friends house
I think the thing that would have help the game a bit and help lessen the real worldness of the tracks would have bring other disney characters that have a connection to the mouse or.. hollywood.
(Yes I know we have a ton of ducks already but...)
Scrooge Mcduck in a mini version of his purple limousine.
Gizmo duck (no kart)
(The one that gave me this idea) Darkwing duck on his motorcycle
and thanks to DW I was thinking they should have added St.Canard (and Duckburg for Scrooge's case).
And to counter all the ducks add Bonkers the Bobcat as a secret unlockble for racing in L.A. (I was super happy to see Bonkers being in the new ducktails show)
Well I thought this would have been possible... until I discovered licenses are a thing.
And you may say: "As if we are going to buy a game where Pluto gets kidnapped all over again"
I say well that never stopped us from buying more Mario games, has it?
Plus, Pluto ain't the only one that gets kidnapped and/or they can come up with some thing else to fuel the racers.
Well at least Disney Speedstorm is a thing but it's a nail in the coffin for my hopes of a Mickey's Speedway sequel (and a real Sugar Rush videogame for that matter) to exist.
Sequels in other countries is a missed opportunity! That would have been awesome
This game be a hood classic boys
I used to own this game. I managed to 100% it, too. My one critique is that you don’t get to visit much of the USA.
I suppose you can only fit so much data on a n64 cartridge, so I shouldn’t expect one track for all 50 states. Still, did we really have to revisit California 3 times!?
Good point!
Two words...
"Trace Chaser"
Weird it uses the Jet Force Gemini fonts for some of the text but hey, why not lol I've seen some of these tracks ported to Mario Kart Wii
It’s not as strong, but it does play really well. Certainly a fun one!
@jiggylookback Nope. Two players is enough. And no music either
Yes! If you’ve never played Diddy Kong Racing tho…go play that. It’s this but better and more vehicles
