Also we have the frosted strawberry elm as a hidden menu item. The grilled wraps can be customized, you can get spicy grilled chicken, tomato, corn/beans, or anything you’d like on it. Some may not allow fried chicken to be added. You can get chicken minis even after 10:30am by ordering a small catering tray which contains 30 pieces. You can mix flavors of milkshakes. Popular combination is chocolate cookies and cream. Want different chicken on your salad just ask. We offer cold/hot grilled chicken, fried nuggets/filet, and spicy grilled/fried. All salads are customizable. We have vegetarian/vegan wraps. The chicken is replaced with a corn bean mix. All sandwiches are customizable. Add cheese, bacon, pickles, etc to anything. I discovered Chick-fil-A because of the "Anti-Gay" thing. My mom wouldn't let me go there, so I went by myself just because of her. It was amazing, and now I am a regular. The Sandwich is amazing.
Tell your mom that they’re independently owned. They don’t hate gays. The owner of my restaurant loves everyone.Im openly bi and a lot of my coworkers are pretty obviously gay. We’re never told to turn it down. Also one of the higher ups at our restaurant is a lesbian with a wife and they’re always hanging out lol

The fact that they are the only fast food place I know of that doesnt charge extra for dipping sauce makes them the best in my book. Im not paying $0.50 for a teaspoon of ranch. Thats robbery. When I worked at mcdonalds back in the day and someone asked for ranch, I would hand them like 5 for free. Sure, my manager yelled at me and I eventually quit because of it (and I was finally able to find a real job after the depression was over). Sure it hypes up sales numbers which makes the higher ups look good, but its just plain wrong considering how much that ranch actually cost the company. We would clear $2k easily in a lunch hour. McDonalds and the rest make PLENTY of money to be able to hand out dipping sauce for free, they used to back in the day until they found out they could charge for it.
Shabuti R18, It is indirect and sneaky, but hear me out: 1. You spend money there 2. They earn profit 3. Some of that profit is donated to anti-gay groups or the one conversion therapy (torture) groups (source is here thinkprogress.org/chick-fil-a-still-anti-gay-970f079bf85/) 4. Gay people are hurt Thus by the commutative property you are partially responsible for the injustices to the gay communities caused by the chickfilla owners’ donations.
@@mothereric8774 Arguing that buying Chick Fil A chicken equates to supporting anti gay rights is silly. For one thing, the amount I'm paying for a chicken sandwhich hardly helps with that, but for another, if you really want to boycott any company whose owner uses their profit for shady purposes, then good fucking luck finding anywhere to eat or be entertained in any capacity.
I worked at Chick-fil-A for 5 years. I had multiple gay managers and even a trans manager. My management team had nothing but love for all people. It was a great environment to work for.
One time, I went through the drive thru, and it took a long time-5 min. To get my food. The lady at the window apologized and offered me my food for free. She was so nice. I told her not to worry, she was doing fine. She looked so happy! I told her no, and paid for the meal.
I am curently working at Chick fil a. Those flowers are real. My operator bought those flowers from the local family. He is very supportive for our local community even through he just moved here for two years since the store opened.
The way you described the franchise process is actually pretty normal. My husband's dad owns a franchise in a different field, and it's the same. Even with land rent and split profits, franchisees still make a good amount of money, way more than enough to live comfortably on. If it wasn't, people wouldn't do it.
My high school had a chick fil a in the cafeteria. I was lucky hearing from others what their school lunch was like. We also had a subway a pizza hut and a really good local burrito shop had a small store front in the cafeteria
@@Someone-gp3jh - No it was a public school. I'm sure its not that way these days now that the govt has stepped in and regulated school lunches from what I've heard.
I have worked at Chick-fil-A for about one and half years. I can attest that each individual restaurant is a part of a franchise so the owner of said restaurants may not necessarily agree with the upper staff of Chick-fil-A. As far as I know, the people who work at Chick-fil-A are not anti-gay. Hell I even had a gay guy as one of my coworkers. No one made a big deal about it. Though the only thing I am flustered with is that upper management does donate to anti-LGBT organizations. If you want to change that, don't bring it to the restaurants themselves but rather their headquarters in Georgia.
The original dwarf house location is where I ate with my dad as a kid. Back in the 80s they let us kids use the tiny door. Haven’t been to that location in years but have great memories there.
They're not anti LGBTQ. They're just against gay marriage due to religious conviction. They've done more to help gays than most. Theyve helped provide LGBTQ clubs help in campuses. And don't yall remember after the pulse night club shooting, they stayed open on Sunday to help provide food for the donors? *Update, the video itself mentioned it thankfully*
@@knightofcydonia1192 A thing to remember is the importance in american liberty and the separation of church and state. Your religious constraints have absolutely no validity in the private lives of other citizens. There's a clear difference in believing in "traditional marriages" for your own life and denying others their right to marry. That is not "pro traditional marriage", it is, by action, anti-gay marriage. Literally an action against gay marriage.
I started eating at Chick-fil-a after the LGBT controversy... i applaud them for sticking to their guns and eat there usually once a week still because of the quality of the "Fast Food".
They wouldn't hire me because I didn't attend church on Sundays. They asked me how I spent my Sundays and I had no idea how conservative they were so I answered honestly and said I spent it with my family having brunch and hanging out. Next question was do you attend church. I said I was raised a Catholic but I wasn't practicing because I considered myself a spiritualist. The manager said well thank you I think that's all we need to know but we're probably going to go with another applicant. I was very qualified and found out their new hire had no experience but I did. When I told people I didn't get hired they asked if I was asked if I was willing to join their church and I said no but they asked about what I do on Sundays and I was told by many they won't hire you unless you tell them you go to church every Sunday. I haven't been in a Chik Fil A in 30 years.

A couple of weeks ago, I stopped by the local Chick-Fil-A, and to my surprise, both the drive thru, and the restaurant had huge lines going out the door, or spilling onto the access road leading up to Chick-Fil-A. I decided to go into the restuarant and stand in line, but I didn't have to wait more than 5-7 minutes in a long line to get served. Same with drive-thru. They use a two lane drive-thru that gets people's orders, then you don't have to wait long to get up to the drive thru window to get your food. I think this speaks volumes about how Chick-Fil-A has this down to a science and does this so well.
I used to eat there every day; a chicken sandwich, a salad, and a drink. Then one day I noticed there hadn't been broccoli in the salad for a few days. They cut it out. A few weeks later when I asked for croutons I was told they no longer had them. Next to disappear was the creamy low-fat salad dressing. My wife (and many other people) liked their coleslaw... but that was removed from the menu. They then eliminated the regular salad and increased price of the side salad. Several other nickel-and-dime things and finally they just changed the method of cooking their chicken. Too bad. Fast service, clean place, nice people. It just wasn't worth going on a regular basis anymore.
August 1st is national chick fil a day. I remember about 10 yrs. ago when that Baptist preacher told Christians to go there. We waiting in line for 3+ hours. There were more than 50 cars in the drive-thru line. They ran out of food and went to get more. So much fun! This was in the City of industry in CA.
The spicy deluxe chicken sandwich with pepperjack cheese is my favorite sandwich. Sooo good and fresh. And fries with chik fil a sauce. And ranch. Perfect meal

Chick fil a sauce on a regular chicken sandwich is the only proper way to eat at cfa. I usually put some on my sandwich and the rest I dip my fries in.

I think what I love about chick fil a is that the chicken is stringy and whole, like how you would want an actual chicken. It’s not a chicken patty, where it’s a spongy mess of chicken bits pressed together, it actually has the texture of a chicken breast. The batter isn’t too soppy yet not tooth-crushingly crunchy, and the buns are usually pretty solid, not soggy or crushed by careless employees.
@@undeadwaluwugi758 honestly, I don't know any gay people who purposefully boycott them. Anecdotal evidence I know, but the controversy was 6 years ago. And the donations failed because we have marriage equality so no one really cares anymore.

Many Christians don't hate gays, we just don't support gay marriage. At the same time many (including me) don't resist it either, we will let others decide what happens, but we will not be part of it.
so true
Yah, we are told to love everyone even if we don’t agree with their ideals. We love them no matter what!
Rhinopocalypes Thank you! I wish all people would choose abstinence over aggression. You don't have to agree with something, but don't try to influence other people's free will just because you don't agree with it.
When I go to Chick-fil-a, I'm going for delicious food. The last thing I'm thinking about is religion or politics.
As a true Christian it's not your place to judge anyway. In fact the bible says to love and accept everyone even your worst enemies.

I wouldn't say gays are our enemies but I understand what you mean lol.
I discovered Chick-fil-A because of the "Anti-Gay" thing. My mom wouldn't let me go there, so I went by myself just because of her. It was amazing, and now I am a regular. The Sandwich is amazing.
Glad to here!

Dani Delafuente Damn you work at Chick fil Gay!!!

@@tristadavis5999Ironic that you claim Christians are bigots and then throw out the "R" word with no awareness whatsoever of how that word is as offensive to the developmentally disabled community as the "N" word is to the African American community. Although I am pro-lgbt, I still like me some Chick-fil-A. Truth be told, there are probably a lot of businesses where the owner believes something I don't agree with, if we went around boycotting everything, we wouldn't buy anything.
StageLined the truth is the owner of most chick Fil as you eat ate aren’t anti lgbt at all. The public just looks at the Truit guy who started chick Fil a and decided to boycott the restaurants owned by individuals. My boss is the most inclusive guy ever and one of his managers is in a lesbian marriage. I’m openly bi myself and a lot of my coworkers are lgbtq also!
@@danidelafuente1 I don't believe in gay marriage but If I was a boss and the gay was the most qualified for the job he/ she gets the job plain and simple.
Go to Wendys, Zaxbys, KFC, McDonalds, Popeyes, etc; SOOO many blood money free options, but YOU KNOW, ITS JUST SOOO TASTY YOU ARE JUST TOO WEAK AND HELPLESS TO GIVE A SINGLE CARE.
The line moves really fast even when it wraps around the building and the quality is better than their competitors.
Shabuti R18,
Gay People
props to you man, I wish more people like you worked in the fast food industry :)
@@mothereric8774 Really.
Shabuti R18,
It is indirect and sneaky, but hear me out:
1. You spend money there
2. They earn profit
3. Some of that profit is donated to anti-gay groups or the one conversion therapy (torture) groups (source is here thinkprogress.org/chick-fil-a-still-anti-gay-970f079bf85/)
4. Gay people are hurt
Thus by the commutative property you are partially responsible for the injustices to the gay communities caused by the chickfilla owners’ donations.
I once waited over 30 minutes at one and just got a 'here's your food.' Glad to hear your experiences were better.

The way you described the franchise process is actually pretty normal. My husband's dad owns a franchise in a different field, and it's the same. I worked at chick fil a and my manager was gay. Everyone liked him and he was probably the best manager there.

They also provide scholarships to Berry College living on mountain campus at Winshape as well as supporting children’s homes located there!

My grandma when I was a kid took me to chick-fil-a in a mall in Atlanta. It was sooo good! She was sooo awesome!
Damn that must suck when you are used to eat those things everyday and they remove them ! Sorry to hear that.

I think what I love about chick fil a is that the chicken is stringy and whole, like how you would want an actual chicken. It’s not a chicken patty, where it’s a spongy mess of chicken bits pressed together, it actually has the texture of a chicken breast.
