Man your timing couldn’t have been better! I started looking for a vids to see how the transaxle came apart so I could access the rear diff section to hopefully get what’s left of my axles out. Thanks for the video.

Great video! Got a couple of 800s that eventually will need this. Not sure how much difference there is between those snd this one but it showed the basics very well.

GREAT video! Where do you get the left or right cases from? I have one where the chain tensioner wore out and the chain slipped off of the sprocket and busted the case. While I have it out I will do what you did and go through and replace all the bearings and seals.
Thanks for watching. The right and left cases I got from the dealer.
Just wondering if Polaris makes the bearing and seal kit you used in this 800. If it is not Polaris, is there a bearing and seal kit you recommend? Mine is a 2010 Ranger 800 XP

Thank you so much for the excellent video and for your reply to my question. Can I bother you with one more quick question: how does the quality and durability of the Amazon East Lake Axel kit compare to Polaris OEM? I understand that the Polaris OEM parts are tremendously more expensive. I just want to make sure the transmission doesn't fail again in the near future. Again, thank you.
No problem!! I’m sure the oem parts are better and more expensive however I run an atv shop and have installed some of the east lake brand because of my customers were tight on money. So far it’s been over a year and they said everything was still great. Hope that helps you out.
What lubrication do you use for northern MN winters. Temps can be from -10 -20 F & I will still head to the fish house.
It sits outside or in an unheated barn, & it always starts. I think it has to be like an ATF fluid for the gear box, am I wrong.
Summer time, I have no worries, just winter when even a 75w gets like molasses.
