Thanks for posting this. I used it to repair my '08 700 X2 Transmission. Was pretty similar to this one. Turned out my chain and tensioner was the issue.
Great video. I dont have the patience to make videos like this. One life hack. Heated the bearings slightly with a torch and they hand fit onto shafts, also heated the alum case around bearing seating areas and case went on by hand also. It dont take much heat!
Great videos. Question for you. Friend's Polaris ranger 570 was towed while in neutral for about a mile and a half and then made some bad noises. Now it will not go into forward or reverse. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
We replaced these items on a few Ranger transmissions now - However one will not hold the wheels/axles still in park after we went back together. No issue with the other 3-4 trans rebuilds. Any pointers that we could try? Thanks for a great video!
Thanks for watching. Sounds like something is wrong with the turf mode. Turn your turf mode off and put it in park and see if both wheels lock. Don’t forget to like and subscribe to our channel.
Hi and thanks for watching. Yes a crack in the back diff will let the oil leak out and cause further damage. Take the diff to welding shop. Depending on location if they can’t weld the crack up, then you will need a new case.
May have an opportunity to buy a 2015 ranger 6x6 diesel with reverse shifting problems any advice and what to look out for hope to look at it tomorrow thanks in advance Tom Clayton, watching you from Ireland, the guy is looking for 3500 euro , about 5000 dollars
Hard to say without seeing it in person however here a 2015 would retail for about 8.000 dollars. With them wanting 5 thousand and a bad transmission doesn’t sound to good. Next I would check the hours on it. If it has over 4 thousand hours depending on how it was used it could be time for a rebuild. Also the gas Ranger is also faster then the diesel and easier to start in the winter then the diesel. Hope this helps and thanks for watching our videos.
@@crankitt825 many thanks there's 7600 miles on clock mab y that's not too bad going to look at it shortly certainly if I buy it I know I will have your videos to assist me , thanks most sincerely again, peace and love from Ireland,TC

I assume you try it in four wheel drive also. Sounds like you will be going into the transmission. Thanks for watching.
Out the door, how much to do all that?

Just curious about what this would cost and how many hours for the total job. Very good video! Thanks.
About 8 hrs. parts and labor will be around 1600.00 if you paid some one.
Very good video!

FYI put the bearings in oven at 350 or 400 for 30 minutes and they all but slide on.
Thanks for the information. I have a press but that information will be good for the other followers.
