    Another awesome video! I am borrowing this linking video tip lol I love it. I do put things off for the same reason and I feel so oooo good once its done and even if it takes more time like the oven I still feel very accomplished. The best ones are the ones that take less time than you thought they would though! lol Thanks for sharing! This is awesome! Eat that frog! Fortunately, all real frogs 🐸😄are safe. This is a motivation statement, to encourage us to stop procrastinating when a challenging task needs to be done. If we need to do something that we dread, (our own personal frog) than we need to tackle it right away. Otherwise, it will be nagging away at us and disturbing our personal peace. Cleaning the oven is a prime example of a dreaded (frog).

      I think that I heard the phrase for the first time on the Minimal Mom channel. It is actually the title of a book by Brian's Tracy. "Eat That Frog"is a book on time management .I have not read it and have not used it in conversation, so I can't say how well known the phrase is among my friends. @@homemakingwithdenise

  • @Jean2235177
    @Jean2235177 2 года назад

    Isn't it funny how those dreaded tasks don't take as long as you think?
    My microwave is a mess. I heated up some some Tony packos hot dog sauce, and the paper cover I had over it slipped off in the process. Oy! Chili dog sauce all over.

    • @Jean2235177
      @Jean2235177 2 года назад

      The second task I dread is washing the kitchen linens. I use white woven cotton shop towels like the blue ones you had on the oven gasket. I have a basket of those by the sink. Those are my dish cloths/rags "paper towels". And then I use flour sack towels for drying. Those two towel types get washed in a bleach/soak/extra rinse cycle (hot). Don't know why I always put that off til last minute. Used ones go under the sink. All I do is dump that into the wash and press buttons. 🤷🏻‍♀️ not like it's a huge task. Sometimes we just have mental blocks, I guess.
