I don't think that the Cade stat indicates nothing significant. It's just smoke to hide the bigger problem which is the Piston's inability to make anything significant of their assets for the last 15 years or so.
Also, Zion isn't all that bad this year, regarding his injury prone past. He's averaging 22,5,5 with 59% FG and 36% 3pt for a 5th seed Pelicans (who currently have the same record as the suns btw). Sure, he's not the superstar he was supposed to be (hopefully yet) but he's on the right path.
I don’t agree with the lamelo take he has arguably one of the worst GM in the league and has been injured multiple times. The use of ‘lack of leadership’ isn’t a far take as he can have the heart of MJ and they still get blown out by 20. He needs the hornets to make moves a look like they going in a direction. Like what Indiana is doing for Tyrese haliburton.
Lamelo don't give 2 fucks though he's out loving life he's 22 and has over 100 million. There is no reason for him to try hard he already has everything he's ever wanted In life.

Play in tournament is a gimmick to glorify mediocrity. Both records are losing records. Insulting LaMelos teammates as if he’s not apart of the team, and the primary player is the problem with the current NBA culture. LaMelo is the guy on the Hornets, if they suck he’s apart of the problem as well. Obviously he’s not currently a first option on a playoff team. He is young so MAYBE one day he could develop into a primary option on a winning team, but he could also end up like Ben Simmons. He’s getting way too much CREDIT for putting up numbers that aren’t producing wins. Saying he has the worst teammates is just an excuse. Maybe you guys are too young to remember Kobe taking a starting lineup with Kwame Brown, Smush Parker and Luke Walton to a 7 game series in the playoffs against 2x MVP Steve Nash with numerous championships level role players.
@@bossman9873Kobe was 27 coached by Phil Jackson during that series I believe, which is important context. Also I don't think Lamelo is near Kobe's level, but I do think he's an All-NBA potential talent that generates wins for a sorry franchise. I can't speak on the NBA back then bc I didn't really watch much, but currently there is a lot of parity in the NBA between teams. Less so in the East than the West, but still. All of the top teams have all time great players and awesome role players. The bench unit for the Hornets this season was literally G League talent. Almost the entire bench unit has been cut, sent to the G League, or are getting DNPs. If you watched the Hornets, they lose a lot of games when the bench unit comes in (unless they get blown out by a great team of course). He's had a couple fringe playoff/playin level teams, but they couldn't quite make the playoffs because of injury and overall lack of effort from the whole team, including Lamelo sometimes of course. Also key players that just can't act right (Miles Bridges) or are injury prone (Cody Martin, Gordon Hayward, now Mark Williams).
I don't think anyone is calling Lamelo Kobe, but he's a player that could get a franchise a title with the right pieces around him, and he's fun to watch.

I disagree putting wiggins on here. He was a big part of helping the warriors win a championship. Without his defense and offensive play warriors wouldn't have won, I can tell you that right now.
Wiggins was out a lot this season due to "personal issues". He spent a lot of time away from the team due to some family complications, so of course hell play bad when thinking about (most likely) a family member being on their deathbed or in the hospital with mayor injuries.

Ayton over Luka on the draft night was moronic from the Suns. Luka is the kind of player that only comes once in a generation, youngest EuroLeague MVP, always playing against older players, etc...
You gotta understand that European players at that time were a hit or miss. The Suns drafted Dragan Bender and they refuse to draft another Eu player. Plus, Ayton in college was a beast. He just didn't pan out in the big league
