I love & respect your national anthem & support your military men & women & greatly appreciate Dan singing the national anthem. My one son was privileged to be asked to sing your anthem @ a major league ball game. Don’t ever apologize for doing that awesome song.

Regarding the merch store, at this point in time, as far as I know, it has not yet been sorted out and re-set since the end of October when the previous store people (Represent) sold out to a new company (Cameo). Dan said, just a couple of weeks back, that he'd be getting it re-done, just as soon as possible, but that he's been very busy, so it still might be a while.

He's his own boss, he and only he decides what he sings, and the backlash was puzzling and uncalled for, in my opinion. I was waiting for your expressions when he started his apology. Lol. Most people have that "wait a minute...are you kidding?" look at first. Dan is not woke, not PC, & a Jordan Peterson fan, too. Love so much about the guy in addition to his music. His Star Spangled Banner is in my top 3, as well. The other 2 being Whitney Houston's iconic version and the other is by Madison Rising w/Dave Bray (Veteran Navy/Marine) as lead singer. Whitney is gone & Madison Rising broke up (Dave is solo & still sings it, though).

I would say that there are quite a few "reactors" out there that are fake, as you said. The only argument that I'd make against what you stated is this: I've managed to not listen to Elvis for easily the past 30 years; I know who he is, and I've heard his music before, but to say that someone who is 30-40 years old is lying when they say they haven't heard his music would not necessarily be true. I'm in my 50s and feel like I caught the tail end of Elvis' popularity in the 70s-80s as I was growing up, so a 30-40 year old may easily have missed hearing his music. Not knowing his name might be another matter, but not knowing his music is believable. Some reactors may not realize they have heard certain music, but they aren't necessarily lying when they initially claim to have no clue about the current song being reacted to until it starts and they come to a part they recognize. Most real reactors will admit at that point that they have indeed heard it, or part of it, but simply did not know the songs title or group who originally did it. Black Pegasus is one such reactor; he has had the "ah-ha moment" on a few songs. Also, I had a girlfriend back in the 90s that thought Bobby Brown was the original singer of 'Hotel California'. She had never heard the Eagles before in her 19 years of life. I had to pull out my Eagles CDs and show her the dates they were recorded and play the original song for her, and even then she struggled and claimed Bobby's version was somehow better. Well, to each their own; I couldn't stand Bobby's cover of it, still can't (just went and listened to a portion to make sure I wasn't misremembering).

At 6 minutes, regarding Metallica.. I love their arrangements and compositions. The instrumentals are phenomenal, and many of their songs have some profound lyrics. That said... ... I can't stand to listen to them sing. It just rubs me wrong somehow. So I totally get you not liking Metallica, because I have a love/hate relationship with them myself.
We do have a russian congress members Putin's Staff it is called MAGA . I love Dan's music, been a fan for a looooog time, He does The National Anthem better than SOME of them need lessons
