Oooo you're right, the game starts with a dream sequence in the theme park! I remember this because my friend ran into my room excitedly telling me there were dead bunnies and I had to come see lol. We then spent several nights playing through this game together and it was wonderful.

Over the moon that you're playing another SH game again :D I love this one in particular because of Heather's commentary on nearly everything you can click on in the game, it really lets you get into her head.
Much as I adore the multiplayer horror LPs (they're just scary AND hilarious), I genuinely love how Gab approaches single player experiences like this. The more even reactions and chillax terror just makes classics like this all the more enjoyable since someone else is taking the brunt of the scares haha
Watching your playthroughs made me want to play all the silent hill games again after like 15 years, downloaded them on my PC and having a blast with my wife. Ready for SH3 now!

Wait, if you've got the sailor moon outfit, that means you have access to the Heather Beam and Sexy Beam. Basicly, you can shoot laser out of your eyes if you aim and shoot without a weapon equiped. :D

I think part of why we get scared more as you age is the fact you grow to understand what you see to another level, especially in games like silent hill, they’re not just monsters, what they represent becomes more terrifying as you experience more in life. There’s many layers to this game that when you are younger you might not see, whereas as an older adult you’ve most likely lived to some degree, so you GET it now, even if subconsciously. At least thats what happened with me, the experiences many women face represented in the game chill to the bone.
Just think of it this way. Biting your lips can break the skin open, open skin can get infected and that can lead to septicemia, that's blood poisoning. And that's fatal. So. 😜

Harry is like, best dad ever in media, right up there with the mom's boyfriend in paranormal activity three lol - risking his life over and over for Cheryl, and then having such a sweet relationship with Heather. 😢
I like both their channels for completely different things lol Like Gab’s channel is more personal like having a chat with a friend, so laidback and chill, but still pretty intense because of the nature of the games; Jack is light hearted, high energy and comedic for comedy’s sake. I don’t think it’s fair to compare the two since they’re different channels even if the subject is the same.

I can kinda agree with the "getting scared more easily as you get older" thing. Something about the tension is more palpable, maybe because we get a better grasp on our own mortality as we age, or maybe because we're not trying to be so tough and cool about it. Maybe a bit of both. Acceptance of an emotion does tend to let people express that emotion more freely, so... I watched "Alien" myself this Halloween, and even though that final scene has always made me hunch my shoulders and tense up, I don't think I'd experienced it quite so intensely the last time I saw it (which was about a decade ago), so I do get what you mean.
For me is different, as I get older I became less afraid of things, fiction things are replaced by real things like missing someone close to me or losing my job, etc. Death doesn’t scare me per se but a lot of other things does.

I personally can’t play these games because I have a fear of being chased 😂 but I have memories of my parents playing Resident Evil and Silent Hill. And I don’t know if anybody remembers Dino Crisis. We had fun trying to solve the riddles and trying to figure out where to go as a family. I had a sudden urge wanting to watch the game play out of nostalgia so I started with Silent Hill and watched the rest of your game plays. So creepy fun.

Yes Gab. I’m 34 and things are more scary. I think it’s the same for most people. I put it down to gained emotional intelligence, life experiences and empathy in OUR old age. Some people do get more cold and withdrawn as they get older, but I am getting more open and aware of my own and others feelings.

My uncle played this game when I was a kid and I used to hide behind his chair and watch him it terrified me but I was hooked I couldn't look away it was the first game I ever saw!! This was the first horror game I played at the age of 4 on my dads pc back in 2005, it was way too scary at the time and I didn’t make it past the opening theme park section 😂. But now I’m 22 just started playing for the first real time and after 2 hours I had to get off I needed a break, the atmosphere is so oppressive and terrifying. At first the game wasn’t scary but the longer I played it the scarier it got. Also I’m not someone to get scared easily in the real world, I’ve been attacked by strangers, stalked by a mountain lion at night, watched dudes get shot when I lived in the hood, been in trouble with the law, held up by pedophiles when I was a teen, chased by my mom out the house with a knife, and been in the military for quite some time but this is still the scariest thing I think I’ve done lol.

Oh my god so happy you’re playing this!! This has to be my favorite silent hill when growing up. What’s funny is that I like to fall asleep to gameplays and off and on I always go to your silent hill play through. It’s so soothing to hear you play this game while I fall asleep haha.

I actually watched your old play throughs of the silent hill games (really love your old haunting ground play through) and loved them but yes there are differences between old gab and current gab but every gab is an awesome gab

Yes Gab. I’m 34 and things are more scary. I think it’s the same for most people. I put it down to gained emotional intelligence, life experiences and empathy in OUR old age. Some people do get more cold and withdrawn as they get older, but I am getting more open and aware of my own and others feelings.

My uncle played this game when I was a kid and I used to hide behind his chair and watch him it terrified me but I was hooked I couldn't look away it was the first game I ever saw!! Now that I grew up i played every Silent Hill game in existence!! I'm glad to see Gab play it and how many people like it 😊

This was the first horror game I played at the age of 4 on my dads pc back in 2005, it was way too scary at the time and I didn’t make it past the opening theme park section 😂. But now I’m 22 just started playing for the first real time and after 2 hours I had to get off I needed a break, the atmosphere is so oppressive and terrifying. At first the game wasn’t scary but the longer I played it the scarier it got. Also I’m not someone to get scared easily in the real world, I’ve been attacked by strangers, stalked by a mountain lion at night, watched dudes get shot when I lived in the hood, been in trouble with the law, held up by pedophiles when I was a teen, chased by my mom out the house with a knife, and been in the military for quite some time but this is still the scariest thing I think I’ve done lol.
Ayye my favorite horror game. Glad you like it so much, some others dont appreciate it and find it to be a mess, but I love this game.

I swear your patrons just want to scare you, it seems like the only seemingly non horror game recently was control, but even that was a bit spooky, but that game was incredible, and i even bought rachel foster on steam cause of your playthrough! Baby Smolders plays Silent Hill 3 lmao
