Fantastique...!! Arrangements, orchestres, chœurs, solistes...!! Hommage phénoménal et magnifique au génie de David Bowie... 😍 Du grand art et un chef d'œuvre à réécouter régulièrement pour se donner du peps et du bonheur... 👍👍👍👌
The primary singer wears a green suit that I have to assume is a subdued tribute to DB's own (bright) green suit that he made famous. But this singer's obvious almost-angry vocalizing of the seriousness of the lyrics -- "we can beat them, forever and ever...we can be heroes..." is spot on. I can and do watch this over and over!
I worked with David & am now a partner with Tony Visconti in a recording studio in Brooklyn NY. He was thrilled with this version of a song he performed many times. As am I . Tusen takk.
I was there, and it is so frustrating that the whole consert was not recorded and saved for future generations or for people who could not be there. It was amazing, and that is still an understatement.
The whole concert has been up on youtube and I agree it was amazing. Absolutely the best Bowie tribute I have seen (and have seen possibly hundreds now).
Fortunately, all of it was recorded and uploaded in exactly same quality as above. They really could and should make it a DVD/Bluray release in my opinion.
Bowie was a genius. I miss him so much. Some of you may know this song when the , "Wallflower's," did it, to some of you may not know it at all. IDK who reads these but David Bowie was the genius behind this song. He was great.
EVERYTHING about this performance is amazing. Hearing this, David Bowie must be smiling from ear to ear. Must have been priceless to have been there in person.
sitting in a humid warehouse on a Sunday in the middle of a blistering summer in the mountains of Georgia... then this comes on randomly. made me tear up. Thank You for making a wretched painful existence of a week, a rainbow of hope.
In an empty office on a Sunday in the frigid cold of a Michigan winter, and I find this gem. It brings the warmth and hope of spring. Wishing you well.
Of course we can be heros . We already are . David Bowie was a genius , and I am sure he would love this interpretation of the song . From this INFJ and empath ( As Bowie was) to other similar people. It's our song .
This song is so brilliant you won't find one bad cover. This classic brings the best of all the singers that sing it. Thank you, David Bowie and Tony Visconti.
Wow... That is one of the best renditions of ' Heroes " I've ever heard. The pairing of the classic symphony sounds with the 3 vocalists and the 21st century spin /reworking of Bowie's classic song is amazing.. Just stunning..
I know that wherever Mr.Bowie's @ right now he's having a blast as to.what all these amazingly talented fellow artists are doing with 'hid baby!" Quite the tribute indeed!♡
A good lady friend of mine was at school in London with a scrawny boy called David Robert Jones. He wanted to be a rock star, not sure whatever happened to him?🤗
Wow. I remember listening to this song by David on Radio Free Europe behind the Iron Curtain in 1979....no idea it would turn into such a...eeeh, monster. I thought about it then as David's punk response to the Pistols and the Jam and such.So I guess it's just a matter of time before some national orchestra does Anarchy in the UK.
J'adore ces reprises symphonies de très grands tubes, notamment celle-ci qui n'est nullement dénaturé mais d'une profondeur magnifique. Superbe à écouter.
Who had the inspiration to get these three together and sing this song. Beautiful arrangement and what a talented assembly of musician great job all of you I need to view more performances like this although I don’t know any of these folks thank you for bringing joy to our life’s.
This is a brilliant rendition.. completely unexpected... definitely among my top 3 favourite covers of this great song...also Elisa Tofolli, and Jon Bon Jovi and Motörhead (for the metal heads) .
Der Song von David Bowie ist durch das Ochester mit den vielen Streichern zu einem Festival geworden, Sagenhaft schön zu hören. Gothenburg Symphony Gratulation Erich Jeske
Wow, this is lovely. What a beautiful thing these people have done with such a powerful and beautiful song. Thank you very much, at present I am going through a very painful and difficult situation in my life. This has given me such a necessary and long overdue bit of comfort. Thank you.
I luckily found full concert on you tube, which i now have in my collection, emailed the orchestra andvits conductor to see if their was plans to tour with the show or release a blue ray dvd ,cd ofvthe show, think a cd was spoken about.
Look closely, you can see members of the orchestra mouthing the lyrics silently as they play. The power of Bowie's lyrics and melody is irresistible.
Nope, that's how you play the trombone 😉

It’s great to see a symphony orchestra stepping out and performing works of great rock and roll. Good music is timeless and knows no boundaries.
have you heard Peter Gabriel's cover of heroes?
This is absolutely beautiful.
I know David is smiling.
hands down, the BEST way you can cover this song with an orchestra. Outstanding!
David would have liked this very much, because it is so beautiful. Goose bumps and a lot of tears, because I miss him so much.
He would have *Loved* this version

Absolutely magnificent 😮 the vocals was amazing especially the guy in the green suit brought tears to my eyes 😊❤
I love the guy's face at the two-minute mark playing the violin, that huge smile just knowing how beautiful that song is!!!
This song and Germany are so intertwined. Bowie captured not just the brooding menace of it all, but the hope and desire of the human spirit.
No matter how this song is interpreted and sung it's still one of the most beautiful songs on my list.
so it is a beautiful song, I agree. Bowie was actually a brilliant song writer.

The vocals in this are magnificent. In reading about this song, I was left confused. But the 3 voices and orchestra truly make it an amazing piece.
