Ladakh: Immortalizing the traditional heritage of a monastery | SLICE

During his travels around the world, the photographer Nicolas Henry meets communities, families, individuals and photographs them, recreating with each one symbolic scenes of their daily life or their history, using the pictorial imagination of storytelling.
The photographer stops at the Matho monastery where he meets the restorers of artworks. He immortalizes this moment with a photo that will symbolize their work in the monastery.
