I think Tarr felt misunderstood during that interview. The interviewer seems to be slightly bored by what he's saying, and the audience was dead silent. But then again, Egyptian and Hungarian culture and temperament are very different.

He looks frail. He's around 66-67? It's distressing to see him not looking healthy. :( But - he is sharp as ever. His intelligence is intimidating. Must be frightening to have to think of good questions for him.

@@bluefilmsltd There is an interview which has recently been made with him (in Hungarian), and which - in my view at least - has succeeded in being more of an insider-type and intimate questioning, rather then this usual, all-too-dogmatic anglo-saxon-type Q&A-sh.t that is so prevalent in our age (I am not necessarily telling this upon the video above, just in general). Now in that recent interview, you can hear him talking about his state of health, among many other topics.

BAD interviewer, he doesn't care about building up a real dialogue with Béla. He is just following a linear and boring path, asking the questions he planned, not even listening to him or interacting with interested.

تحاور مخرج من طينة بلا تار فرصة لن تاتي مرة أخرى. لكن كل خمس ثواني تنضر للحظور او لرمسيس او او. يا سيدي عندما تحاور اي شخص كان. من الادب ان تنظر الى عينيه لا الى الحضور او الكاميرا او او.
