They either overcomplicate or oversimplify and you're still left with question marks by the end. I'm learning more than I did 1-on-1 with a producer from LA no joke.

I've found 3rd party plugins that I like more sound/sample wise and they help my workflow - alot of stock plugins dont give me those features I need + stock plugins don't see many updates and are often years behind in sound/tech .. plus, if I spend $200+ on a plugin.. you got me messed up if you think imma be using a stock plugin again

Could you do another one but with actual adding a drumline. I wanna make my own brand of Dreamy R&B music, essentially the Cloud Rap of R&B. But making drumlines for it almost feels like it’s clashing with it.
late but whatever you do i'd recommend like a light lowpass filter + some sort of transient shaper to decrease the attack and if ur feeling spicy lightly bitcrush it at a high rate (i recommend kilohearts bitcrush so u can change the hz) and lower the mix so it degrades the sound a bit, also i'd reccomend if u even use hi hats make them very light
