Yeah I wasn’t used to seeing him run around the stage that much while singing. He was having a blast for sure! It was awesome seeing Randy Blythe come out with Gojira. I uploaded that video also, if you hadn’t seen that one yet
I still can’t believe they performed so many older songs & 4 from Leviathan, which was my introduction 2 the band. I try not 2 look at setlits b4 I go 2 shows, I like 2 be surprised. I literally stopped recording seconds b4 Joe came on stage, great way 2 end a killer night!
I also like being surprised, but I also want to know which songs to rehearse, because singing along makes shows twice as enjoyable. That being said it was a VERY nice surprise to hear the amount of oldies they busted out right after each other!!!
Just saw them in August and man it absolutely rocked. One of the best shows I've seen. When they played March of The Fire Ants the shit hit the fan and it was awesome.
They kind of did this in Dallas too, I think it's because they switch who plays first and second on the tour so by the end of Mastodon's set everybody was wiped from Lorna Shore and Gojira before.
when they played at the kia forum it was one of the most wild concerts ive ever been too, they were playing songs from leviathan, Remission, and blood mountain.
Wow, great moment, but lame crowd. Usually the entire floor goes apeshit during Blood and Thunder but I could hardly see any movement. In Austin things were nuts.
@@TheCatabolicTrex yea idk why i always see people complaining about crowd movement. it gets hot, people get tired, sometimes everyone just wants to vibe and enjoy the music and show. doesn't need to be a slaughter every song

Kinda ironic that joe is singing a song about hunting down a whale
nice to see joe singing the other extremely badass metal song about whales
wow joe is putting every ounce of energy he got really good stuff thanks for uploading that mate

Seeing Joe in a hoodie and shorts with a ton of energy is very weird
he doesn't know what to do on stage without a guitar xD
old joe vocal powers just returned for a sec holy hell
2:51 Bruh... that was sick!
Joe has so much excitement here. Like a little kid!
You can see Joe is channeling his inner Chino Moreno with this one
Same movements lol
they toured together last year so maybe he rubbed off on him
@@actualdin8458 and Deftones is also one of the Duplantier brothers' favourite band, so that would be an explanation
Now we unironically need neil fallon to sing "flying whales."

I cheated and looked ahead. Lol. I didn’t know Joe was going to come out so that was a bonus
yeah man A HUGE bonus!!

Damn joe moves like Fred Durst without guitar lmao
First thing I noticed! Is he rocking cargo shorts as well? XD

Fantastic recording! Excellent sound quality. Thank you for sharing!
Your welcome glad I got some got video
Wow what an awesome moment !! ♥️🔥
The pit during this may have been small but damn was it brutal
Thanks for the upload! I hope these two awesome bands find they’re way to Alaska some day. We could really use the music, and energy.
Glad to help. Do any bands come through your area or Alaska in general? I generally have to drive 2 hours in any direction to see any shows
WHY NO MOSH PIT??? I'D HAVE THROWN MYSELF AROUND LIKE ROBERT SMITH!! AND JOE DUPLANTIER OWNS THIS NOW!!!

Originally owned by Neil Fallon of Clutch on the studio version.
I was at the show before this. This woulda been kewl!
Joe cosplaying Freddy D here, possible Limp Bizkit coheadline tour hinted at? 😳😳😳
Even though the snoop dog's crowd looks more hyped, thanks for the video!!!

This was the last song of a 3.5 hour show
The crowd were fine
