This is my favorite episode of Season 9 so far. I love how, even though it's a huge stomp, the battle still came off as enjoyable, funny, & showed respect to both characters. The analysis & conclusion were both hilarious, mostly thanks to Ben Singer's performance as Wiz. I look forward to next time (Jason VS Michael Myers), which will not only premiere on Halloween (on RUclips anyway), it'll be the 13th episode of this season. Timing couldn't be any more perfect.

I'm pretty sure they chose this Aquaman because he's the only one that mainly has cartoon lore. Every other Aquaman that's in a cartoon is based off comics.
With your question of Popeye vs SpongeBob. I think Popeye would eventually win, either with fighting long enough to dry out SpongeBob, or using his ability to turn things into inanimate objects.
I think they went with this Aquaman because they expected some crazy-ass shit from a character during the golden age of comics.

They should have done SpongeBob vs Popeye. It would be much cooler. Also SpongeBob on a good day can actually just resist reality warping I’m pretty sure and his need for water is incredibly inconsistent. If you think about it he can unravel his entire universe, no water in sight, and he also can’t lift a fucking marshmallow.

hey Kyle, just as a heads up over how scary Jason is: Jason is strong enough to not only punch your head off, literally, he can also punch through titan steel with his machete. compared that to Michael Myers, who can punch a rifle through a human torso. also, i've heard that it's gonna be a live-action death battle. and it's gonna have jumpscares. i think. also, Jason is basically a mentally-disabled kid stuck in a NFL/quarterbacker body. this is gonna be creepy... probably DB's creepiest fight in it's history.
Jason also lifted 10 tons in freddy vs Jason as the boiler he moved was said to be that heavy in the novel of the film.

In terms of the next time. This is the first time they're using proper horror movie characters, and admittedly most saw this coming considering all the signs. It's the 13th episode of the season and it premieres on Halloween, Ben said this year's Halloween Special was gonna be a matchup many have been requesting for many years, a new Halloween film came out earlier this year (and by earlier this year I mean like a week ago) and it's been 13 years since the last Friday The 13th movie. Also if you want to learn about these 2 (and maybe other horror movie characters) then I recommend watching the Kill Count series by Dead Meat, I feel like you'll enjoy his content.
I agree with the statement about dead meat, its a really good channel and James make really awesome videos and the trivia is really informative.
Fun fact: The track of this episode is called Ocean Men. That and the "Here lies Ocean Man" on the grave is a reference to the end song credits of the first SpongeBob Movie. You know 🎶Ocean Man take me by the hand🎶

I highly recommend the Alex Bale SpongeBob theories, they're amazing. I know someone who could beat SpongeBob and Popeye at the same time, but she's not very well known.

I think Death Battle is just going for one sided matches these days for great fatalities. Or in this one’s case, to just insure Cartoon Aqua Man gets obliterated. This was just a fun match.

they generally use the strongest versions of both, maybe even composite versions, which means technically Michael is also unkillable. they also aren't all that far apart in most regards, even if Jason holds most of the edges, and Michael only a few
The difference with Michael Myers and Jason Voorhees is that Jason can come back after being killed cuz he's a spirit. Micheal Myers on the other hand is still human. Sure he can endure bullets, fatal injuries and all that, but he can still be killed with decapitation or something like that

I find it interesting how the fastest speed feat they manage to find was through SpongeBob SquarePants. Even regarding Wally West and Archie Sonic having their peak speed being incalculable.
Edit: Just to clarify I know that Spongebob is the fastest *calculable* speed feat they have now. I'm mostly posing the question as if that's the fastest speed feat they have it makes you wonder that if they COULD calculate Archie Sonic and Wally's speed it would be catastrophic. But of course currently its impossible so naturally it's gonna be a non-factor.

SpongeBob unraveled the universe after he unraveled the Milky Way (that’s why it went from a black background to a white one). The time it took for the background to go from black to white was around five seconds.

That is the thing about Toon Force. It is really hard to over come if you're not also a Toon Force user. It isn't impossible, but it is a major handy cap not have it. If any one had a chance against Spongebob it would have to likely been a classic toon. Bugs, Mickey, Woody, Droopy, and any one of the Warner Siblings.

Jason vs Michael could go either way....depending on which canon of Halloween they go with. there are 4 continuities in Halloween franchise.
original continuity- 1,2,4,5,6 (he has psychic powers and pretty much immortal)
h20 continuity- 1,2,h20, resurrection (immortal)
reboot continuity which was 2 films (was pretty strong)
current continuity 1, 2018 film, kills, ends (no psychic ability, not immortal)
if you are wondering why there is no "3"....Halloween was meant to be an anthology series of movies. with each movie being its own story and characters. 3 had nothing to do with first two. in fact characters can be seen watching the first movie
They will composite both of them, so that it encompasses feats from all of the movie timelines and comics from both franchises.

However, both of thier physical bodies can be destroyed, which I think will determine who will win.
Seeing how Jason can regenerate limbs and organs much faster than Michael, as well as being physically stronger, more durable, and faster due to his teleportation, I believe that will secure Jason the win.
