People don't call the Porsche a widowmaker for no reason. It's a non-meta brand overall. The 964 has bad turbo lag. It sucks every time you launch one and it just pulls like a snail. You have to be on your toes every time you drive this thing in anger at the touge. I'd suggest playing Richard Burns Rally on keyboard, so you can learn throttle control. (not for the faint of heart) Handling with an RR layout is a different beast, so FR drivers will get confused by its pendulum-like qualities, and even more so for AWD players because you just can't chuck it, slam the throttle, and pray for the best. (Audi fans *cough*) Be careful not to spin out, or else you will suffer the wrath of its poor launch. The 993 is a good city car, not really on touge. It suffers the same condition as the RS200, in my opinion, which is too much oversteer. Every time you get into a good slip angle, it scrubs off too much speed, and it will either slow you down too much, or spin you out. Might be my skill issue, though.
Gonna be honest if you can drive the r32 the 846 has just slightly more slip and its good on c1 once you can control it and on the touge otsuki it sucks but ichikawa is decent as after some tuning you can reach close to sub 5
for the 964, you can dump the clutch and it almost entirely removes initial turbo lag.
I won’t lie but the Porsche’s can slip At high speed But next tuning phase it can be fixed the handling for highspeeds :D.
Yeah when proper tuning drops their performance can become better.
